Bully
"Move. I don't feel like getting aids from trash." Molly snarled. She hated me and I don't even know what I did. "I swear on god Casey Mills, if you don't move your lazy butt, you will regret it. Willow screeched as he rolled her eyes. "S-sorry." I muttered and went to class early. Great. Gospel is first. I never really believed in Christianity. Why would God allow this to happen to me? The truth is, I hated Bayberry Christian Highschool. I hated everything about it. The snobbish people, the bullys, how judgemental they are, and the fact that they tell you whether you deserve to go to hell or not.. Not that I believe in hell or heaven, but it sucks to be the person everyone hates because of an opinion.
Wait...What if they are in this class? What will I do? The fear and dread of being embarrassed again by Molly, Willow and Bryce was overwhelming. Ever since I was in 5th grade, they've been after me. It was because liking girls, boys, or anything at once was a "sin" and unfortunately for me, I was the only one part of lgbtq++. Suddenly, my phone vibrated. In confusion, I checked it. "Hey. My mom told me to stay at your house after school. Would you want to ride the horses?- Elijah" I smiled. I've always liked him and how he was always there to cheer me up. "Sure. I'm riding Princess. You can ride Connor." I replied with a grin. Princess is a tall, dappled grey thoroughbred with the sassiest personality you will find. Connor is a light brown appaloosa that is always hungry. He is the silliest horse you will find. I rescued them from a slaughter auction, when I was away with Elijah and his family.
Suddenly, my phone was chucked across the room. Oh no. Crap. It's them. Without looking at their faces, I got up calmly, and took a step towards my phone. "Oh my gosh! She's so pathetic." Molly giggled as she pushed me. "What do you want? I never did anything to you.." I snapped. "Not to me. God doesn't want a filthy sinner on earth, but then who does? You are wasting air." With that, I reached my phone, stood up, and stormed the heck out of there. I'm done being pushed around.
"Where do you think you are going?" Willow taunted, making my stomach churn with disgust and anger. I turned away and as I was walking away, Bryce pulled my hair, causing me to turn around and punch him square in the face. "You will rot in hell." He said, shocked. "I'll see you there." I yelled down the hall as I left the school.
By the time I got home, Elijah was already there and had tacked up the horses. I think it's time to tell him my feelings. We greet each other with a hug and climb up onto the horses. We've always ridden bareback because when we were 10, we thought it made us look cooler. Then, it just became a habit. "Race you!" I yelled as Princess took that as a cue to gallop. We stopped at the hill and looked down at the sunset. This is perfect. I'll tell him now. I dismount and tell him about my feelings. How I feel safer in his arms, how he gives me butterflies, everything. With that, Elijah leaned in and we kissed. It was the best thing ever."I've always felt the same."
We sat in silence, but it was a good silence. Until.. "How was school today?" He asked, waiting for some horrible answer. He knew that the trio was bad.
"Better than ever"
