Hamilton Poem
This poem is dedicated to Eliza Schyuler Hamilton and Alexander Hamilton. Yeet. That's about it. Enjoy it my dudes.
An Illegitimate child
He grew up quite mild
Then a hurricane came
Devastation,rain,and pain
He knew no future there
So he left it all behind
Thanks to strangers kind
Now he is on a ship
His story takes a dip
Hark! What is this?
This pure bliss?
Why, tis the war!
Hamilton wants more
So he fights in the war
Meet Eliza,fell in love
And I swear on stars above
He loved her,at least at first.
When America won
Hamilton had a son
Who was the only one of the Hamilton kids
To get his own song on the Hamilton playlist.
But years past, its 1801
Now he has a duel, its on
But he got shot
He had some advice, this is what he got:
"Son, when you fire, aim at the sky.
This way, neither of you will die."
Thus, his son, his pride and joy,
Became a corpse, his little boy
His grief and sorrow overwhelmed
Poor Eliza, sorrow was condemned
To her for many, many years
She shed many grief stricken tears
Now her husband stands in the same spot
Her son was shot
Now she's helpless
Now she's breathless
But not quite hopeless
Funded an orphanage
To her husband paid homage
#GoEliza!
And #GoHamilton2Iguess
Seriously guys Eliza was amazing. I wish I could have meet her.
Person: If you could meet any historical figure, who would you meet?
Other Person: I dunno, Jefferson or something...
Me: Eliza, Peggy, Angelica, Laurens, Mulligan, Marquis de LAfayette, Hamilton, Washington,-
Person: So....everybody?
Me: Right as rain!
