-KawaiiQueen- is doing something called December dallies, which are basically short stories for each day in December.

Technically the first day was Victorian but I'm apparently a rule breaker and I'm going to start with Ocean :D

The water was cold, much colder than she had thought given the warmth of the sun on her back. She pulled her foot back in and nuzzled them into the sand.

Getting over this fear should be easy, at least thats what she had been told but every time she saw water she saw the accident. And then she couldn't breathe.

One more go, she mumbled to herself before taking her foot from underneath the sand and placed it back into the water.

Okay not too bad, her mind whispered, just get in.

Slowly she let herself get into the abysmal water and it was like a weight had been lifted, until she felt something drag her under.

She tried to swim away from whatever it was, but fear prevented her from giving it her all.

At some point she had given up. She had no hope left until she noticed the pressure was lifted and it seemed to have gotten warmer.

She opened her eyes. 'What is going on,' she looked at her wrist and noticed someone was still holding her holding onto it and it looked a lot like a human hand. She looked at him and tried everything in her power not to open her mouth.

He used his other hand to put one finger over his lips, so as to say it wasn't safe yet. After a few more yards of being dragged but no longer completely against her will they came to a stop.

"I'm sure you have many questions."
He spoke.

She was silent for a moment, she looked directly in his eyes, "You bet I do. But firstly, who do you think you are, to literally drag my here?"

"It's not who I am. But who you are, you have been chosen by the council and only you know why."

So that was a bunch of fun although it's very badly written.
