Goddess Of Healing
Centuries ago a battle was pledged between gods and a single man. He was known as a missionary and was extremely brave. His name was Aliad. For being a mortal his strength to fight was extraordinary, his name know far and wide for defeating the son of Darkness, Lukian. But soon arrogance got the better of him and he began challenging The Great God Grayth himself. Grayth not one to be called upon, sent pain through his challenger, crushing the mortals organs one by one then leaving him for dead upon the mountainside.
Grayth's victory was celebrated among the gods, a feast soon being held within his kingdom for all to attend. He greets his trustworthy friends happily but when upon raising a toast discovers that one very important guest is no where in sight. His wife Olace, The Goddess of Healing.
Upon discovering what her husband had done, she fled his kingdom in a hurry, her kind heart and strong spirit unable to allow young Aliad to die. She sat by the wounded man and wrapped him with her healing wings. Though they were not visible, they very much existed. Aliad was thrown into the air, gasping for his life as the wings of his saviour enclosed within and around his wounds, mending his flesh and organs before placing him back upon the mountain.
Before she could retreat to rejoin her husband, she felt a hand upon her arm, stopping her in her tracks. It is Aliad. He speaks to her cautiously, a kindness within his voice that she had not heard before. He began to ask why she had saved him but he need not the answer for within his heart he already knew he had not only encountered a God but Olace herself. A cloak of white shimmered all around her and within moments she vanished, returning home to her Kingdom.
Grayth grew furious upon learning of his challengers revival. He declared a new war, one that involved every God willing to be aside him. He did not know of his wives involment, spilling his plans for Aliad to her completely unware that her intentions were not to help him. Knowing her husbands cruel plans she began leaving messages for Aliad in his dreams, warning him of the oncoming danger. But when he does not solicite a surrender she ascends upon earth once again, her glow of white aroma seeking him at his home.
At first his stubbornness is shown strong, a spit within his voice at the mere thought of retreating from Grayth. But upon the Goddesses pleas his voice softens, something in his heart unable to be cruel to Olace. He takes her hand and tells her of his motivation and that he promised someone dear to him long ago that he shall bow to no mortal nor god.
The Goddess pities him and in a moment of grief for Aliad finds herself wrapped in his embrace. One touch is all the takes for the Goddess and mortal to feel connected, a passion and understanding of one another that neither had been blessed with before...not even with Grayth. The pair find themselves surrounded by firey aroma, her wings once again caressing Aliads skin not with the purpose of Healing...but the ecstasy of intercourse.
Ashamed of what she had done, the Goddess once again returned to her home, her heart knowing her decision is incorrect but her duties keeping her grounded. The battle of mortal and man is incomplete as one day prior to Grayth's arrival upon earth Aliad retreats, disappearing without giving any knowledge of his whereabouts to family nor friends. Grayth is victories once again.
Months pass and Olace has been watching her lovers journey. His walks through thick forests, battles with course winds and his settlement within an abandoned village. She is happy for his safety but soon notices her wings have grown weak, her mind unable to heal as she once had...upon further months her messages grow to visions, visions of a child with pale hair and a strong will. The Goddess was with child.
Grayth's refusal of bearing a child soon dawns on her, her clarity of the child's father now known. She once again sends dreams to Aliad. Upon his awakening he requests a visit. At first she is cautious but is soon unable to resist seeing her lover one last time. He does not hesitate to embrace the Goddess upon arrival, her heart beating with pain at the thought of never seeing him again. She prepares her fairwell but he does not allow it, pleading with her to stay with him...to live on earth as one. At first she declares him insane for thinking such things but upon feeling they're child's heart within her she cannot let they're love subside. They embrace once again and though not legal they intend to live on earth as man and wife.
Using what little power she had remaining Olace grants life to her wings, blowing them high into the sky and watching as they lay a protection layer around Aliads home. The God's shall not find them so long as the shield remains.
Twenty three long years pass and the pair now have three daughters. Paol was the first, wise and strong like her father. Lith was the second, graced with kindess and passion for music and third was young Ocea, kind and beautiful to those who knew her. The daughters grew up, not knowing of they're mother's true identity but happy...that was until one fateful day when they youngest of girls stepped to far beoynd her mothers wings, shattering the shield and revealing the Goddesses deception and lies to Grayth and his minions.
The god is furious and in moments turns a beautiful day into a storm unlike any other. He clashes his fists together sending waves upon the land, killing thousands before descending upon earth himself. He breaks through the remainder of Olaces wings and in pure rage slaughters the farm animals her and Aliad has bread. His minions are upon the family in an instant, slitting Aliads throat as they force his love and children to watch. He grabs the first of daughters, cutting deep within her arm before stopping, a malicious grin upon his face.
He drops the beauty and in his strong demanding voice calls a curse into his Sky, thunder and lighting soon colliding with earth as the three daughter are each struck...but they do not die.
The Goddess watches in despair as her daughters cry out in pain, their eyes seeming to turn from light hearted young girls to things of darkness. They're bodies hit the ground, agony all around as harsh black wings course through the flesh of they're back, blood and tears soaking the girls and they're mother. They're cries soon turn to cackles, they're teeth shattering only to be replaced by sharp blade like fangs. Grayth watches happily as the girls wings carry them high, a song of passionate death escaping they're mouths as they disappear into the clouds. He turns to his broken wife, laughing maniacally at the pain he has caused. He enjoys stripping her off everything she has, her life, powers and even her family but most importantly he enjoys the thrill within his heart as he ascends back to his kingdom, leaving her to her own sorrows as a mortal.
She vows to take her own life and though she tries many times, Grayth does not allow it, wanting her to suffer for her disobedience. It is not until years later that mother nature comes calling and Olace's life is ended as a lonely old woman.
