Matt couldn't believe it. He twisted his engagement ring around his finger. It was actually going to happen. This wedding was something he had only dreamed of. But now he stood here in the dressing room, clothed in a tuxedo with his bride waiting. 

"It's time."

Matt turned and saw his best friend standing in the doorway. He took a deep breath and nodded.

I can't believe it. It was finally the day. Me and my fiancée have been engaged for nearly nine months! I had been looking forward to this day since we met, during junior year of college.

I clutched my fathers hand as I nervously walked towards the priest, down the aisle. I could tell my dad was on the verge of tears. My heart was racing. I was waiting for this day, but the idea, of my wedding, that it was the most important day of my life, was unbelievable.

And there I was, staring deep into the eyes of my fiancée, or future husband.

The priest started talking, and we said our vows.

"Anyone object?" Asked the priest.

We heard one voice, it was my ex boyfriend, Jack's.

"Wait"

I can't believe it.

Here's the day, my little baby was getting married. I felt as if it was just yesterday she was a young child. And here she is, as a 22-year-old bride.

I held her arm all the way across the aisle. Her bridesmaids waved. My baby was growing up.

I could barely hold back tears.

I couldn't believe it. She had ditched me because of a stupid mistake. I watched as the procession continued. Her beautiful locks fell out from behind her veil. The white dress hugged her curves and flowed down to her ankles in a series of embroidered flowers. The priest spoke vows as she tightened her grip around the hand of the man she ditched me for.

"Are there any objections?"

No I didn't object the marriage. She should live a happy life, and I wanted her to know. I wanted her to know I was sorry.

"Then we will con-"

I took a deep breath and stepped forward, before thinking. "Wait."
