Chaol pov

All this time (Y/N) was with Aelin hiding with her and now she back for what reason? I thought to myself. (Y/N) was my first love back home until she went missing, "Chaol? What's wrong with you now?" Aelin asked "When did (Y/N) just suddenly appear again!" She looked at me and then (Y/N) "she's a Fae Chaol she snuck on board my ship I was traveling on to get here, I know some parts of her but don't have a go at her Chaol just because she got kidnapped" the word shock couldn't even explain my reaction after she said that.

(Y/n) pov

See Chaol shocked face made me giggle what ever Aelin said I'm proud, I looked around see so many rebels helping everyone out but some where injured, or even near death 'we need to end this soon' "(Y/N) let's go we need to see to it that we get rest" I nodded and running with her.

Days past and I can't even get the guts to see Chaol, I've known when I was just little that I was part fea but I had to hide it the king would have my head chopped or have me in a cell going through anything evil, "(Y/N)" I hummed in response "let's go we have a meeting with Chaol" I nodded and grabbed my hood

Seeing Chaol again my heart was beating to much "(Y/N) go look out just in case okay" I nodded and ran stoping seeing a hooded person I ran to the wall quickly, 'he can't be serious' "Boo" I scared him "(Y/N)!" I giggled "you fell for it again" "what are you doing here?" I smirked "oh simple I snuck on board with Aelin" I could see he was about to pop a vain 'oops sorry Aelin'.....

I hear boots running and I step out of the way and smile with eyes fully closed I love moments like these she's happy and he is too these are the moments we need to live for.

I was on top of the building looking out I didn't want to sit there smiling like an idiot all that time.... "So" 'shit not now' "just for the record I was kidnaped I didn't ran okay" "(Y/N)! Who did it?" "I killed him already so it's fine just drop it" "why didn't you contacted me?" "Because I need time... time to heal time to train and time to learn about my true self you would not believe what I've found out I have a whole history about my family being kings or queens of a whole another land" I heard armour and a sword move beside me I seeing from the corners of my eyes Chaol sat next to me 'surprisingly' "your eyes changed" I giggle smiling looking at the buildings "yeah the other eye colour didn't suit me so when I went make it my original home land they changed I'm starting to love them they glow when I use my power and it feels amazing" all that night we talk and talk about everything....

All that time it felt like the good old days but I knew tomorrow it's still gonna be different but I'll forever have a place for him in my heart.
