There was once a couple, who loved each other to the fullest extent. They were very happy together, but the boy was ill, with a very severe heart condition. One day, his girlfriend was in the hospital's waiting room, impatient to hear what the doctor had to say, when suddenly, she overheard the conversation between the doctor and her boyfriend's parents, she didn't want to eavesdrop, but she couldn't help it, she heard his mother's frantic voice asking the doctor question after question. The doctor had a look of pity on his face, but nevertheless told the parents that their son's heart was giving up, and it couldn't function any longer. The mother cried and said that there must be something they can do, but the doctor dreadfully said that their son was unfortunately at the bottom of the donors list, and if they can't replace his heart in time, he might die. The girlfriend without hesitation, got up and darted out and headed to the front desk, and signed her name on the donor's list, to specifically donate her heartbeat to her boyfriend. And within a week, the boyfriend was released with a perfectly pumping new heart, the first thing he did when he got out, was go to his girlfriend's house, because he missed her and wanted to ask her the reason why she didn't visit him the past week. He knocked on the door, impatiently waiting to see her, when her mother opened the door, with a face looking like she'd been crying for centuries. The boyfriend was shocked, and asked what was wrong, and the mother told him with a faint shaky voice, that her daughter had given her heart to him. The boyfriend was beyond shocked by this news, and couldn't believe how she could give her life up so unselfishly, and how she could sacrifice her own life, just to let him live.
