The Leviathan

Some pirates have a parrot on their shoulder. Yet, the Leviathan had a dragon coiled around the mast of the ship. It was amazing to see the large sea serpent wound around the mast. His bright scales were various shades of blue and green. While the top of his head had a crest of platinum-colored feathers with green rimming their edge. His bright azure eyes watching the crew with keen interest.

But, today was one of those days were Leviathan wasn't supposed to sit there and look pretty like he usually did. Today his ability would aid in the acquisition of resources for one of our allies.

When I looked up, I could see Antoni take the spyglass away from his eye. A grin came to his features as he shouted down to the Captain. "The Atlantis is dead ahead captain."

Captain Montana looked around for a moment before her brows creased in annoyance. The Atlantis was a slaver ship carrying mages, but they often ended up using the slaves for their own gain too. As such, they had been able to use stealth magics to hide in plain sight. Yet their stealth was no match for Antoni's inventions.

Captain Montana looked around at her crew as we all begin to take our spots in preparation for the attack. Leviathan raised his head from the top of the mast and gave out an ear-splitting roar. Which sent half of the newer recruits to their feet as the waters began to roil underneath the boat. The sky darkened within moments and within a few seconds rain had begun to fall.

The waves pushed us closer to the ship as Atoni continued to shout directions down to the captain. We waited for the Leviathan to get close enough to the Atlantis.

The Atlantis' crew seemed frantic. They were either fighting one another to jump off the boat or begging their own captain to do as Montana said. None of them wanted to fall like the stories told; they didn't want to be Leviathan's meal. Nor burnt to a crisp for disobeying Captain Montana.

"Shiva take the wheel, I'm boarding that ship." The captain said as the other ship's crew laid the board down to allow her and a small contingent of our crew aboard. "Now, I'm sure you know why I'm here. Hand over the shipment and I'll happily let ya live to see another day." Montana grinned as she pointed up to Leviathan who gave a low gurgling growl.

"They're a shipment of sea mages, not very useful to you lot." The other captain remarked.

"I don't care, if you don't give them up, I'll just have to destroy your ship and fish the survivors out of the ocean." The other captain growled but gave into Montana's demands. Exactly as the others had. No one wanted to go against Captain Montana and her precious storm-creating serpent.
