Baalim and Acacia - A New World
At the beginning of our universe, there was nothing. No true life. No true death. No sky or sea. Not even the earth. This place was known as the void; the nothingness which was only inhabited by one being: A god named Baalim.
Baalim from the earliest accounts was a fallen god, worshiped by summoners and mages in conjunction with the nature spirits of his home universe. Though, through some great misdeed of some kind, he had been struck down from his place, thrown into the void and reduced to nothing more than a wanderer of the nothingness. But, these were not the worst of his problems, in truth, he was most upset to be lost to his people - going down as nothing more than a myth.
Unhappy with his eternal punishment, he took to wandering through the void, finding the action both lonely and oddly peaceful. Centuries rolled by, he could feel his strength wane more with every day that passed in his original universe - soon he would no doubt fade into the void as all other things were once there wasn't something to keep them going.
However, just as he began to lose hope, he came across a pool. The pool was barely seeable, though one could faintly see it's wispy essence almost floating right around his height. A female's whisper reaching his ears, however, it almost seemed to come from every which way rather than just the puddle: the words being the same as those spoken by the humans, and he himself, when they paid respect to the gods of the first Earth.
With a tentative hand, he had reached forward to the strange pool. Which almost seemed to jump back, reshaping into the silhouette of a human; a woman. He reached forward once again, though, this time, his hand made contact with the being: touching the creature in the chest where a human heart would beat. The silhouette suddenly took on the actual features of a human woman.
With each step she took the nothingness slowly was turned into the same wispy, black substance as before. The substance shifting and twisting until soon appeared a sandy plain.
"Where are we? Who are you?" She'd cried, looking across the plain.
Baalim extended his hand and rather cautiously the woman took his hand in hers. He shook their interconnected hands saying his name, and then took his turn to look at the scene as well. "I'm not quite sure where we are, I was exiled here,"
The women looked at him and frowned, "My name is Acacia," she responded.
Acacia placed her hand on the male's chest as he had done and looked into his eyes. From them, she could see the creation of his universe, from the first trees to the creation of a vast variety of creatures. Suddenly she smiled. "Let us create a new world," she said, "one bigger and better than your old home."
