3rd Person's POV

Shin Uzuma. You would see him as a normal college student during the day. He would also be in a café, drinking some coffee while studying every single day (except school break of course). He has a small condominium near his school and acts just like how humans like us do.

But no.

I never said he really IS a normal college student.

I never said he IS a human.

Because he isn't one and will never be since that family incident happened. He has accepted his fate of being a half ghoul.

For the past 3 years, he is notoriously named as "The Alpha" for leading a large group of ghouls with wolf masks called "The Pack". They attack thrice a month, one being large scale since it happens during a full moon.

But what happens if he meets the infamous Moonlight who is merely a human but has a talent in stealing unsurpassed by other criminals?

News: Another Moonlight incident from an expensive jewelry store. A million dollar worth of jewelries were stolen—

"What a nuisance."

Shin turned off the television, halfway before the news reporter explained the thievery. He wore on his long cloak and covered his face with a wolf mask. Underneath, he had his all black battle suit on and black leather gloves for his hands. He turned off all appliances in his condo as he went out.

He stood on the balcony, gaping at the clear horizons of the night. The huge full moon was up.

"Ahh..~" Shin breath out. "Perfect weather for a bloody attack..."

He lightly whistled through his mask. His comrades, who were hidden in dark alleys, jumped on the rooftops and waited for their Alpha's orders. Shin pointed out to the horizons.

"Let's begin."

The Pack howled like wolves before they left the 13th ward.

"The sky's so clear tonight~"

Loke, aka Moonlight, gazed upon the clear dark skies covered with stars above him. He was on a rooftop of a building just below the jewelry shop that he will be infiltrating. It was a wonderful night to steal precious gems and jewelries especially since it was a full moon. No matter what the situation is, the police will never be able to catch him anyway.

And so without further ado, he began with his larceny.

Using his magic tricks, he easily teleported inside the jewelry shop. Silently but surely, he opened up one of the glasses with the most expensive diamond accessories.He continued stealing more until....

"HEY  YOU!!" the guard shouted.

Loke smirked as he looked at the guards surrounding him.

"Stop right the—" the other guard was cut off.

The mischievous thief wore a confused look when all the guards froze in place. But it all ended when blood suddenly spurted around him, covering him and the shop. All of them were dead. Loke stood frozen, still accessing what just happened. Then out of nowhere, a hand reached out for his shoulder.

"Thanks for gathering our meal, Mr. Moonlight~" the cold voice whispered.

Loke felt the hairs on his neck stand from the voice. He heard a snap of a finger before cloaked figures wearing wolf masks went in the store. They placed the remains of the guards in duffel bags. Loke wanted to vomit from all of this but he refused. He didn't want to let the leader see that Moonlight is weak when it comes to gruesome situations.

"Face me." the guy ordered and in an instant, the thief faced the alpha.

Loke's eyes widened at the sight. The guy was wearing a beautiful long cloak with intricate designs. His mask was so beautiful, Loke just wanted to take it away and make it one of his mask collections.

"Moonlight to earth?"

Loke snapped back to reality. "Y-yeah..?"

"I have a favor to ask." the guy continued. "If you're able to complete my favor, I'll give you lots and lots...."

"... of diamonds and gems..?" the thief said, slowly perking up.

When the guy nodded, Loke right away agreed to the deal. Before saying the deal, Shin introduced himself as Alpha.

"So Alpha, what's the deal?" Loke quirked a brow as he sassily asked.

"I want you to steal suitcases."

Loke snickered. "Suitcases? Isn't that too simple for a criminal like you?"

"They're not JUST suitcases." Shin said with a serious tone.

Hearing that they are not JUST simply suitcases with money or what, interests Loke more. In an instant, they were out to the open and on the rooftops. They both waited for Shin's comrades (who baited themselves with investigators) and planned on their attack.

"They're coming." Shin perked up

He saw his comrades running on the ground while the others jumped on rooftops. And hot on their tail.... were a bunch of investigators and 3 special class investigators. All bringing their weapons, quinques.

"See those suitcases?" Loke nodded. "Steal them."

Shin attacked and impaled the investigators while Loke stole the suitcases. The members of The Pack helped out the injured ones and also assisted Loke with the thievery. Not long after, the investigators were down, leaving the special class investigators standing.

"SSS rate Alpha." one mentioned.

"This will be one hell of a fight." Shin cracked his knuckles as he took of his cloak revealing his battle suit.

'Oh damn he's toned...' Loke mentally said. 'Wait wait what the fck am I thinking?'

"Teaming up with Moonlight huh?" the second investigator questioned. "Interesting combination."

"Alright, let's get this sht done." Shin growled.

With a blink of an eye, Shin was already face to face with the investigators. His kagune speedily attacked them but all of it were blocked. He aimed for the quinques so that Loke can steal them. Suddenly, a poof of smoke appeared in front of them, slightly blinding the investigators. Shin was also affected but he snapped back when Loke shouted.

"Shin! The weapons!!"

Immediately, his kagune flicked away the quinques from the hands of the investigators. They were now unarmed.

Loke then hastily took the weapons, "GOT THEM!!"

"RETREAT!" Shin yelled before all of them, including Loke, retreated into the dark alleys.

While running, Loke felt his chest tighten and he knew he was at his limit.

'Dammit this is why I need my magic.'

Because of the darkness of the alleys, he accidentally tripped upon scattered carton boxes. He closed his eyes and waited for the impact of the floor but it never came. Instead, Loke felt himself hoisted up and carried onto someone's arms. He looked up and gaze upon the beautiful wolf mask of Alpha.

"You could have said that you were this tired already." Shin said, gentleness clearly obvious in his voice.

Loke apologized. He leaned his head on Shin's chest. He caught a whiff of scent from Shin that drowned him and sleep took over his body.

Loke woke up in an unfamiliar room. The light were off, darkness took over the place. The only light he could see was the moonlight that went through the large windows.

And then it realization hit him.

'Wait.... where's my outfit? AND WHERE'S MY MASK!?'

He started panicking.

'No no no.. that mask was one of my favorites!!'

"Hey hey, calm down now."

Loke snapped his head to where the voice was and saw a figure at a dark corner. As it stepped on a lighted area, Loke calmed when it was only Alpha (Shin). His face was still covered but his upper torso was exposed. Wearing black shorts only, Loke saw the almighty toned body.

"Like what you see?" Shin teased, chuckling when he saw Loke's tomato face. "Here, I cleaned it."

Shin handed Loke his now clean outfit and mask that he's been holding. Loke took it and thanked him.

"I-I'll take my leave then–"

"No, you won't."

Loke raised a brow. "And why not Mr. Muscles?"

"Thanks for that." Shin teased. "And why not? Because you will be useful in the future."

"Sorry but I only stole because you saved me." Loke denied and started walking away.

Before Loke could reach for the door handle, Shin stopped him with a statement.

"I'll help the police capture you if you don't stay."

Loke snorted, "Do you even know who I am? I am Moonlight, the most infamous thief of all time."

"Let's see." Shin held his chin as he walked towards Loke's direction. "You want diamonds right~?"

"Ah ye—"

Loke stopped midway when a duffel bag was placed in front of him. Shin ordered him to open it and Loke did. The thief's eyes widened when he saw it was full of diamonds and other gems. He checked if they were real and yes they were.

"How'd you get all of these?" Loke questioned, still in shock.

"I don't have to answer that." Shin sat in front of Loke. "I would give you as much as this if you stay and continue stealing for me."

"And even more?" Loke looked up.

"Even more."

Loke contemplated for awhile. In this deal, he could get more than what he usually does. This was one hell of an opportunity. Plus, he could probably get one of those weapons he stole if he asks Alpha.

'I shouldn't let this slide' he thought.

"So?" Shin snapped him out of his thoughts.

"..... Okay." Loke nodded. "I will stay."

Shin grinned behind his mask. "Then I shall formally introduce myself."

Shin took off his mask, revealing his dark blue hair and sharp facial features. Loke felt his heart leap and skip a beat. Shin handed out his hand which Loke took as a handshake

"My name's Shin." the Alpha grinned. The mischievous thief grinned as well.

"Loke, at your service."
