"Wow," Mason said. "Look at that." He pointed to a rainbow.

I smiled. "Let's follow it."

"What a great idea." Mason agreed.

We followed the rainbow through a grassy field.

"How long do you think it might take to follow this rainbow to the end?" I asked.

"I don't know, but in the end, it'll be worth it." He said.

I chuckled. "I hope so."

Mason and I have been friends for a long time. We're both Adventists, and we both like a challenge. Finding the end of this rainbow is an adventure.

Even if it is just a pot of gold or nothing at the end of this rainbow, it'll all still be worth it. What matters is the journey, not the destination or reward.

I smiled at that, and Mason looked over at me. "Someone's smiley."

I grinned. "And is that a bad thing?" I wiggled my eyebrows.

"No, I just want to know why?" He asked, smiling.

"I was just thinking that whether or not we find something doesn't matter. The only thing that does matter is the journey we had." I explained.

"Nice." He said. "You're gonna need that spirit for later; I doubt we'll even find anything."

I shook my head. "I guess we'll find out."

Mason

"So, what do you want to do after we find the end of the rainbow?"I asked.

"Get something to eat," Addison said.

"Same," I said. "I think we're getting closer."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

We do reach the end, and we don't find a pot of gold. Instead, we see a chest.

"Open it." She said, and so I did.

We found wands, two. We also found a note.

Thank you for following the rainbow. If you are reading this, you have found the end. These wands work; they can control the elements—Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. You may use these wands or leave them here. But be warned, with great power comes great responsibility. Don't use these wands to hurt anybody.

I am beyond shocked. I was expecting a pot of gold or nothing. This is awesome; I can't wait to use a wand.

Addison

This is cool; I can't wait to use these wands.

"We should take them and use them; we found them," I said.

"We should," I said, agreeing with Addison. "Wanna get something to eat?" He asked.

"Sure," I said.

After the hike back to the car, We got in. We drove to Wendy's and ordered something there. After we ate, we went back to where we found the chest. The rainbow is gone be the chest remains. We started practicing the spells.

It's going to take us a while to get the hang of it. But that's the fun part, Learning. I keep reading and re-reading the note. They left us. But it's no help. It says that we shouldn't cause destruction with the wands. Instead, use them to help nature.
