Leaf's feet hit the ground harder than she thought they would. She cringed hoping that this wouldn't give away her position. The meeting place was just up ahead. She entered the small, hidden shack. Two people where already there. A boy with brown hair and a blue jacket stood nearest the entrance. He introduced himself as Hilbert. The other person, a boy with lightly tanned skin and grey eyes, stood rigidly behind the circular meeting table.
"Well?" He said. "Anything new to report?" Despite his attempt to seem tough, Leaf could see right through his act.
"Yes," said Hilbert walking towards the table. "Unova's not doing as bad as other regions, but still." He frowned. "Some Pokémon have gone missing. Nobody knows what happened to them."
"Leaf, anything to report?" Asked Brendan. Leafs gaze turned cold.
"In Kanto, things are very bad. Many Gym Leaders are dead," Leaf said. She got quiet. She was the one that found the bodies. But she would be strong. "Also, Red is missing. I've heard rumors of rebels in the east, but those might be just rumors." Brendan sat up.
"I knew there are rebels in Kalos, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, but I never thought the Kanto locals would try to fight..." Suddenly, they heard a loud booming noise.
They had been found.
