Blanche was born in Kalos but moved to the Kanto region at a young age. On the first day of school, she didn't have a place to sit at lunch. Two kids invited her to their table. Those two kids would become Blanche's best friends and later traveling companions on her journey. Those two kids were Candela and Spark. Even as adults they would still be friends.
