He was the calm water.
She was the fiery acid.
They were never meant to be mixed.

Alas, the teacher who thought he knew it all didn't understand this simple concept. He paired them to perform the experiments for an entire semester.

Water and acid were trapped in the same flask.

And as expected, the mixture bumped every now and then, giving the entire class a scare. It weren't their fights that the class was frightened of, it was the place they had their fights in. The chemistry lab.

No one expected the mixture to last long. But then, life has always been a game of uncertainties. And it showed it once again.

With the passing time, many different emotions were poured into the mixture. The semester which started with anger was curtailed with a bag full of laughter. And eventually, the bond between the duo evolved into something that was beyond any explanation.

Twenty-five years have passed since and their relationship has just grown stronger.

Even today when they hear someone say that the pairs are made in heaven, they feel proud while saying that, "Our chemistry was bonded in the lab."

Love, it's such a wierd feeling, isn't it?
