"It's been over two hours, twenty trials and just one dress touched your heart till now? Come on now, I got many other useful tasks to do than stand outside this closed door."

He banged on the door once again. He could hear the shuffling inside. That was the twentyninth dress she was trying on. Yes, he was counting.

"Why did you even bring me along if you didn't wish to show any of those dresses to me?"

Finally she peeked out.

"I want to show you that perfect one," she said bringing her best puppy face out, "And if not for you, who would've held this other twenty dresses that I need to try?"

She didn't wait for an answer though. Just snatched the bag from his hand and went in to spend another couple of hours with her dresses.

He just stood there bemused, rubbing the fingers behind his neck.

The salesgirl could hardly suppress her laughter at that point.
