Hello, dreamers! Welcome to our first Short Dreams prompt-driven short story contest! Can you write a short story between 5000 and 7000 words in eight weeks based on a prompt? We bet you can!

We will have benchmark milestones of 1000 words, 2000 words, 5000 words, and the completed story. The benchmarks will occur every two weeks and each word count benchmark will be awarded a sticker!

A longlist will be chosen from all the completed stories. From the long list, a shortlist will be created. Finally, from the shortlist, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced!
