A week had passed.

Keith had packed all the supplies he needed, he couldn't believe this. He was going to be Lance's fake boyfriend for two weeks. Well, he did kinda like Lance, but that would be seen as taking advantage of him.

''Ah Keith, I'll miss you man,'' Shiro said as he stood in front of Keith, outside of their apartment. Waiting for Lance to pick up Keith. Apparently he had a car. But he preferred taking the bus. Which wasn't logical for the two brothers.

''I'll call you guys on Christmas eve okay? Say hi to Victor and Yurini for me, will you?'' Keith had never found himself to call Takashi's parents, mom and dad. He always called them by their names. They didn't mind, though.

''You will switch right? Christmas eve with our family and Christmas day with Allura's family?'' Keith asked. ''Yeah. Mom and dad don't mind that you won't be there. But mom insists that you at least call her.'' Shiro chuckled.

''I will, I will, jeez.'' Keith laughed.

Shiro spotted Lance's car in the distance, ''See you in two weeks then?'' He asked. A little bit of sadness in his eyes. ''We'll keep in touch, it's fine,'' Keith laughed and pulled Shiro into a hug. Shiro sighed and hugged back. ''You have gum with you right?'' Shiro asked, as he just remembered.

Lance had already pulled up in front of them.

Lance tightened his grip on the steering wheel, trying not to look at the two. His knuckles started turning a shade of white.

''Yeah, yeah, stop worrying so much, you idiot,'' Keith chuckled, ''Bye!''

''Bye! Be safe!''

''Hey, you okay?'' Keith asked Lance as he finally got in, shutting the door of the small blue volkswagen. ''Huh?'' Lance asked, releasing his death grip. Keith mentioned to the steering wheel. ''Oh, I'm just nervous, that's all,'' Lance said. Keith nodded and swung his bag onto the back seat of the car. Lance started the engine and they drove off to the airport.

They had discussed what they would say and made some ground rules.

An hour later, they arrived, parking the car in the parking building, and entering the airport. Lance showed the two papers, that his father had sent them. Since his family had payed for the tickets. They got access and put their baggage on the roller conveyors. Then they entered through security. But both of them kept their rucksack.

They had to wait for a half hour until their plane would be ready to take off. Lance and Keith searched for their section, and when they finally arrived, they sat down on the chairs.

Keith started to get nervous. And Lance had noticed.

''Hey man, you okay?'' Lance asked, concerned. Keith thought about it, should he tell the truth? Or lie? No, Lance wouldn't mock for it him. Would he?

''I... I've never been on an airplane before.'' Keith admitted. ''Oh... that's okay. There's a first time for everything! Are you scared or just nervous? Or both?'' Lance asked, placing a hand on Keith's shoulder. Squeezing it for reassurance.

''I, I don't know.'' Keith sighed. ''That's fine too. It's going to be alright. Don't think too much about it. When we take off there will be some turbulence and when we land too. But I promise you, the view you'll have when we're right above the clouds, it's breathtaking.'' Lance smiled. He was very mature about this subject.

''Don't you mean turbolance?'' Keith joked. Lance suddenly sat still for a few seconds, then he gasped, clutching his shirt, where his heart so said was. ''Keith, did you just really-, I'm so proud of you!'' Lance said, wiping away fake tears. Keith laughed. ''You're okay, for a boy with a mullet,'' Lance chuckled and Keith slapped his arm playfully. ''You're quite okay too, for a dickhead,'' Keith retorted. ''Nah, you love me,'' Lance said and swung his arm around Keith's shoulder. Keith didn't mind, he leant into the touch.

'Maybe i do...' Keith thought and closed his eyes.

He opened them after a while when he heard the intercom sound.

It was time to get on the plane.

''Seat 105 and 106.'' Lance muttered looking at the passing empty seats. Not a lot of people were on this plane.

Lance stopped walking and turned to Keith, ''You want to sit by the window or?'' Lance asked. ''Oh, erm, I'm kinda claustrophobic, so you can sit there, if you want!'' Keith said and laughed awkwardly. He just admitted something personal once again, which such ease .

Lance sat down, he didn't say anything, until Keith was finally seated. One seat in between them. Normally no-one would sit with them. Lance took a deep breath,

''It's okay, I have ADHD.'' Lance said, ''Just wanted to let you know,'' He gave Keith a tender smile and he settled down, taking things out of his bag.

''How long was the flight time again?'' Keith asked, '''Round nine hours,'' Lance answered.

One hour had passed. And Keith was already bored.

They had switched seats once Keith felt comfortable enough and he had been staring out the small window for an hour. It was breathtaking, at first. Now it's still breathtaking, but not interesting.

''Hey, wanna watch a movie?'' Lance asked as he took out his ipad. Keith nodded and Lance moved one seat closer, next to Keith. ''Which one? I have guardians of the galaxy Volume two, mean girls, how to train your dragon...'' Lance said as he scrolled through the movies. ''How to train your dragon? I remember watching it as a kid!'' Keith said and looked at Lance. A small smile situated on his thin lips.

They ended up watching the first and second movie of How to train your dragon. Let's just say, both of them cried, so neither spoke of it.

Keith yawned, he had been resting his head on Lance's shoulder throughout the second movie. Lance had swung his arms around Keith's waist.

Keith sat up, Lance whined slightly, but Keith didn't notice.

''I'm tired and these seats are so uncomfortable,'' Keith complained, ''And it's cold.''

''Keith, we're above the clouds, of course it's cold,'' Lance said and laughed. ''Well, I rather go to hell than heaven then. At least it's warm there.'' Keith said, his eyes droopy.

''Well, I did bring along my Jacket, but no pillow... you... you can rest your head on... my lap, if you want?'' Lance said hesitantly. ''Oh no, I'd just be a bother.'' Keith dismissed. He didn't want to use Lance as a body pillow, what if he needed to use the restroom but didn't want to wake up Keith?

'I already used him as a body pillow though.' Keith thought to himself.

Lance closed the tray holder so there was space between him and the chair before him. ''It's fine.'' Lance said.

''If you insist. I could use a pillow,'' Keith mumbled and kicked off his shoes, he curled himself up onto the two chairs and rested his head on lance's lap. Facing his lower stomach. He closed his eyes. Lance took his jacket from the net stuck on the chair in front of him and draped it over Keith's curled up form.

He put on his headphone, and plugged it into his phone. Listening to music, hips don't lie blasting through the speakers, it calmed him down. He found himself fumbling with the strands of Keith's mullet, and Keith's hair in general. His other hand was occupied holding one of the paler boy's ones. He didn't know when it happened, but Keith's hand was soft and warm.

Keith dozed off by the gentle tugs and strokes in his hair, and being surrounded by Lance's scent.

Keith woke up, blinking a few times. He really hoped he slept away most of the remaining hours.

''Ah, finally awake huh? Slept well?'' Lance asked. Keith rolled onto his back, pulling up his feet to his butt. He looked up at Lance, still resting his head on his lap. ''Yeah, actually. I did,'' Keith said, and yawned softly.

Lance found that incredibly adorable, not like he would ever admit that out loud. He might've also admired Keith, while the raven was in dreaming land.

''How many hours are left?'' Keith asked. Lance checked his phone.

''One,'' Lance sighed. ''Did you catch some sleep?'' Keith asked. ''Yeah I did,'' The taller boy smiled.

''What now?'' The smaller male asked, ''What about talking? Or are you not up to that?'' Lance asked.

''Tell me about your family,'' Keith asked quietly.

Lance smiled once again. And Keith was glad he did, he could never get enough of those smiles. They weren't the cocky shit eating grins, but those true, gentle, soft, heartwarming, charming smiles.

''Well, I live with my mama and papa, abuela and abuelo, four siblings, I'm the youngest, and three added children and Lucy.

''My mama's name is Rosa, and my papa's name is Louis. McClain is from my dad's side and Sanchez from my mother's side. My mama's parents live with my mama's sister, and then the parent's from my father live with us. Alexander and Eliza.''

''Then you have my eldest sibling, Tulio, he's twenty seven. That's Shiro's age, right?''

''Yeah it is,'' Keith smiled. He loved listening to Lance talk, well, if it wasn't him being cocky. But the way his face lit up when he talked about his family. You could really see they had a strong bond. But every house has their secrets.

''Okay where was I... oh right! So my second eldest sibling is Sofia, she's twenty five. Then there are my two twin siblings, they're two years older than me, Michaela and Miguel, they're trouble makers,'' Lance laughed softly, ''Doesn't that mean they're only one year older than me?'' Keith smirked.

''Stop rubbing it in my face that you're older mullet-boy,'' Lance stuck out his tongue, and Keith repeated the gesture. That made Lance roll his eyes, but a smile tugged at his lips nonetheless.

''Tulio is married with Lucy, and they have three children. You have Rosita she's eight and Mateo he's six. And they have a baby now too, I just heard her name's Angelica, she's four months old. I can't wait to meet that little bundle of joy,''

''And Sofia has a daughter too, but she lives with her father. Her name's Lilly, she's autistic. Umh...'' Lace's face darkened. ''Sofia had her when she was only sixteen, and it brought a lot of trouble to our family. Her boyfriend promised to take care of the baby together with her, even though they broke up when Sofia was five months pregnant. She had left the family. And came back when she was twenty. Lilly is nine now,'' Lance explained.

''Oh... I'm sorry to hear that, I-'' Keith apologised but Lance pushed his finger against Keith's soft plump lips. ''It's fine. This makes up for you telling me about your parents. And depression. I'm sure there's more about you that I don't know yet. And I'd like to get to know you better,''

''I'd like to get to know you too,'' Keith replied, a small smile displayed on his lips.

Lance pushed some bangs out of Keith's face.

''Are you in for one hell of a ride?'' Lance asked.

''Hell yeah,''Keith said and laughed.

The two boys talked for the remaining time, new secrets have been discovered, and they might've seen that familiar purple flash once again.

Keith threw his gum in the trash after they got off the plane. He used it when they landed to keep the pressure in his ears down.

They got their baggage and started looking around.

''Lance!'' A deep voice was heard above the clatter off baggage and talking. Lance turned around swiftly, grinning widely. ''Tulio!'' Lance shouted back as both boys walked into each others embrace. ''Good to see you again lil' bro,'' Tulio said. He was quite muscled, unlike Lance and slightly taller too. He had darker hair, a stubble beard, and the same blue eyes, only more hollow and more vague in colour.

''Ah, well damn Lance. Great catch,'' Tulio said, as he looked at Keith. The said boys cheeks heated up. ''I'm Tulio, the eldest. Nice to meet you-...'' He held out a hand. He took it, ''Keith,'' The smaller said shyly. ''Welcome to the family then, Keith,'' Tulio said and smiled a welcoming smile. A smile like Shiro gave him, a brotherly smile.

Now, what Keith didn't expect was that he would be pulled into a tight embrace by the broad male. Tulio kind of reminded him of Hunk.

''Let's get going, everyone is excited to see you again Lance. And to meet Keith. It was a surprise, y'know? Your call,'' Tulio said as he helped out with the baggage.

There was a comfortable silence, but soon Lance perked up. ''Please don't tell me you still have that shitty pick up truck,'' Lance complained. ''Oh, me and Betsy have been through a lot, I wouldn't give her away unless-'' Tulio started but Lance cut off. ''Yeah yeah I know. The car's your first wife. Poor Lucy,'' Lance laughed.

Keith was confused, until they stopped in front of a worn out, light green coloured pick up truck. It looked like it had been through world war two.

''C'mon, let's get in,'' Tulio said and hopped in, Lance sat in the middle and Keith at the right side.

The drive was about nine to ten minutes.

The car stopped in the middle of a street, everyone got out the car.

It wasn't busy, like Keith would've expected. When they drove through the narrow streets he didn't see a lot of cars either. It was something like you'd see in the old black and white movies. Attached-multi-unit-houses went down the entire road at both sides. It was also uphill, and had a lot of alleyways and side roads. Like the stereotypes in Italy or Spain. The houses had white or yellow like colours and orange or brown roofs. Flower boxes hanging from the railings on the balcony's. Different kinds and multi coloured. The road was this wobbly stone like road, like in the Middle Ages.

Keith looked around, amazed. It was so cozy here. He glanced down the hill where they'd came from, and noticed the beach and Ocean.

''Where are the tourists?'' Keith asked, and Lance chuckled.

''They're a few kilometres away to the East and West, in the touristic area. We live in peace here without too much noise,'' Lance explained and Keith owed.

Suddenly there was a loud screech, and the door slammed open.

''Uncle lance! Uncle lance!'' Two kids shouted running towards Lance as they hugged him.

A girl about the length of Lance's waist hugged him and a boy short enough to hug Lance's leg.

''Hey Mateo, hey Rosita, I missed you guys too,'' Lance said softly. Keith inspected his face. He hasn't seen his eyes shine that bright ever before.

He ruffled the kids' hair. Keith, Lance and Tulio took the baggage and they walked inside the small house. Keith stayed behind, the little boy, Mateo, stood in front of him. ''You look pretty! What's your name?'' He asked. Keith smiled and crouched down. ''Keith. You're Mateo right?'' Keith asked. ''Are you Lance's boyfriend?'' He asked. ''Yeah, I am.'' Keith chuckled. ''I like you!'' Mateo grinned and ran inside, past Lance who was smiling down at Keith.

Putting the bags down in the hallway as they entered, a piercing shout was heard. ''Lance!'' A girl ran from the kitchen towards them, which was right beside the hallway. As she tackled Lance in a tight hug. Lance hugged back, her being slightly smaller than Keith, he had noticed. ''Hey Michaela,'' Lance laughed.

''¡Oh Dios Mío, Lance!'' A boy shouted and ran towards lance, Michaela released Lance. ''Miguel!'' Lance shouted, as he ran towards him and hugged him, he had some tears in his eyes but he refused to let them fall.

They pulled back. ''Darn it Miguel, You've grown taller than me!'' Lance said. His eyes were glazed with tears. Happy tears. Keith felt like an intruder.

''Ah so you must be Lance's boyfriend? Wow, aren't you too good looking for him?'' Michaela asked. Keith's face heated up. ''Erm...'' Keith didn't know what to say. ''¡Michaela! ¡Maldito sea!'' Lance scowled. ''Lance? My hijo!'' A familiar voice sounded out.

''Mamá!'' Lance exclaimed.

There stood a short woman, buff and stern, but yet sweet and gentle. She had chocolate brown eyes, just like Michaela and Miguel.

They hugged.

She kissed Lance's face at least ten times before letting go and turning towards Keith.

''So, the important boyfriend,'' She smiled warmly. Motherly. She now stood in front of Keith, eyeing him up and down.

''I'm Rosa Sanchez. You are...?'' She trailed off. ''Keith. Keith Kogane.'' Keith answered. ''Ah, Keith. What a wonderful name!'' She chirped and pulled him into a tight hug. ''Welcome to the family. Lance has never brought anyone home. Never,'' She whispered, ''so I'm glad." Keith looked up at Lance, he had heard.

Guilt overtook Keith slightly.

He wasn't supposed to be here.

Quiznak, he isn't even Lance's boyfriend.

Soon two elderly people walked in and hugged Lance.

This day was filled with hugs.

Keith helped cooking, together with Rosa. It was fun. Dinner was rare for Keith. There were at least three subjects going on around the table, but never less then three.

After dinner, Keith was exhausted. This was a heavy day.

Mateo insisted on giving Keith a tour around the house, so he did.

When he was done, it was time for Mateo to go to bed. ''Give him a break Mateo.'' Tulio sighed. ''No!'' Mateo whined as he clung to Keith. ''Sorry, he's a mama's boy. Not a daddy's,'' Tulio laughed, ''Mateo! Stop it! Hop hop, to bed now, you.'' Lucy came into the living room where the were at the moment. ''Ugh! Fine! Bye bye Keithy!'' Mateo said and ran upstairs.

''Sorry about that Keith.'' Lucy sighed. ''Hey, could you check up on Angelica? I need to find Rosita.'' Lucy said and kissed her husbands cheek. Soon Keith was alone in the room.

He heard some laughter fill the air and some music in the background. Keith stood up and walked to the kitchen. He glanced around the corner, to see Lance and his mother waltzing.

Keith smiled, but it saddened. He decided it was time to hit the lights out.

He walked up the wooden stairs, at least ten doors were in the hallway there. Keith had heard that Lance and Keith would be staying in Lance's old room, with only one bed. A small bed.

Keith stood in front the blue door, an old paper stuck to it, slightly ripped, on it was written in a sloppy handwriting;

'DO NOT ENTER! Unless you have Doritos!'

Keith smiled. Lance was such a nerd, still is.

Keith opened the door. His eyes scanning his surroundings. Lance sure loved blue.

His walls were blue, he had posters of space, galaxies, and tv-shows plastered on his walls. Some light up in the dark stars stuck to his ceiling, and the view from the window was the dim lit up street by street poles. Some elder couples walking by. If you focused close enough, you could hear the Ocean in the distance.

Keith looked at the blankets on the bed. It was from the old show, Voltron. Keith smiled, he loved that show when he was a little.

Keith opened his bag, that was placed here on beforehand. He has been here for about five hours, and it already feels like home.

He shouldn't be here though.

Lance entered the room, as Keith had already changed into some shorts, since it's very warm in Cuba and a shirt.

Lance smiled, ''You okay?'' He asked. Keith nodded, sitting down on the bed. ''Just a little overwhelming, big family.'' Keith admitted. ''Wait until Christmas, it's gonna be like the entire town's gonna be here.'' Lance laughed. ''I can believe that,'' Keith said, ''How will they all fit though?''

''Mhm? Oh, well, we kinda plan it out with the village,'' Lance stripped into his boxers and a tank top, ''Half of the village go away to visit their family in other villages and the other half comes to here.''

''If you thought they'll all fit here, then you were wrong,'' Lance chuckled and took a seat beside Keith.

''How do you mean?'' Keith asked as he shuffled towards the wall side.

''We don't just celebrate with our family, but the entire village. We all have a barbecue or we go to a restaurant. Now, our reunion will be in our garden and inside the house this year. But mostly we all go to the central square. Small town, lots of people. You like it or you don't,'' Lance laid down with a plop and stared at the lit up stars.

Keith laid down at the wall side too, ''Oh,'' he shifted slightly. Moments of silence passed, ''This bed is way to small for the both of us. And your mother recommended this? Isn't she afraid that we...'' Keith trailed off. Looking at Lance beside him, who was trying to lay down without falling out of bed.

''Have sex? Nah, she's cool,'' Lance chuckled and finally laid down. ''Okay, that was way too subtle.'' Keith laughed.

''Psh, who cares, we should be able to talk about things like these,'' Lance said.

Keith shifted again, ''This isn't working.'' Keith said in a hushed tone. Lance tensed, afraid of what Keith meant.

Keith was just not laying comfortable. Lance noticed and sighed in relieve.

''Wait, sit up.'' Lance said, and Keith obeyed, Lance stretched his arm, and Keith laid down again on it, Lance pulled Keith closer. Keith squeaked. ''You remember we're fake dating right?'' Keith mentioned. ''So?'' Lance said, they were only centimetres apart.

''Do you mind?'' Lance said, looking into Keith's eyes. ''W-Well,...'' Keith could lie. But somehow he found that really hard when it came to lance, ''No, not really,'' he replied honestly. He did not mind to be this close to Lance, actually he enjoyed it. But Keith would never admit that.

''Be careful that Mateo doesn't replace me, mhm,'' Lance muttered, an amused tone to it, his eyes closed.

''Psh, he's six, and very sweet. Which reminds me, did you need to kiss me after you introduced me to your father after dinner?'' Keith asked with a grunt. ''Hey! It was on your hair, It's not like I like the taste of your mullet,''

''Taste of my mulle-... Lance you can't even taste hair when you kiss it!'' Keith huffed and slapped Lance on his chest. The Latino just snorted and that made Keith crack a smile and a laugh of his own.

''I'm not even your real boyfriend.'' Keith breathed out after his laugh.

''Aún no.'' Lance muttered.

''What? You know I don't understand Spanish.'' Keith sighed. ''It means 'I know'.'' Lance lied, as he smiled.

''Oh....alright then,'' Keith mumbled.

''I saw that look when Michaela was flirting with me,'' Keith said.

''What?''

''You know what I'm talking about Lance,''

''No I don't,''

''Yes, you do,''

''Heck no,''

''Yes! You do!''

''Nope, don't remember, didn't happen,''

''You might need a brain check then,''

''Why?''

''Because,''
''Oh wait, right, I forgot, you don't have a brain,''

''Ouch, at least I don't have a ridiculous mullet like you,''

''It's not!''

''It totally is!''

''You love my mullet, admit it,''

''Nope,''

''Wait, don't change the subject! You were totally jealous!''

''Oka fine!! So what if I was, a little? Mhm?''

''Ahha! So you do admit you got jealous!'' Keith pointed out.

''Oh my-, ugh okay. Can't take that back.'' The taller boy sighed annoyed.

''Aww, someone's jealous~'' Keith cooed. ''Shut your quiznak!''

''I don't think you used that in the right context,'' The smaller male laughed.

There was a silence that took over for a few minutes.

Until Lance spoke up.

''Thanks for tagging along, it means a lot to me,'' Lance sighed.

''You wouldn't be in this mess if you would've just declined the dare, i mean. It did go a little too far. But that's my opinion,'' The pale skinned boy said.

''Well yeah, but too late now, just accept my thank you, mullet,'' Lance snarled.

''I accept your thank you,'' Keith said, a goofy smile on his lips.

Those lips that have been distracting Lance for a while now. They look so soft yet chapped. He wants to feel them against his. Taste them.

'Stop it, gay thoughts go away.' Lance screamed in his head.

''Goodnight Lancelot.'' Keith whispered as he buried his face into Lance's Chest.

''Buenas Noches, salmonete.'' Lance whispered. As he pulled Keith closer to him by his waist.
