"Do this, do that, no not like that!'' Keith muttered frustrated. His older brother, Shiro, always played the chief. Commanding Keith to do chores around the apartment, unfortunately for the raven head. As if he didn't have enough to do for his classes. Astronomy is a tough class. Keith didn't even know why he had taken it in the first place. And why he didn't agree taking a dorm room, he instead moved in with his brother.Even though Keith was adopted at a young age, Shiro was a brother by blood to him. Sort of. His adoptive parents were very sweet too, and Keith appreciated that endlessly.

While muttering curse words under his breath, he threw the garbage in the trashcan, and sighed. Finally making his way over to the bus stop, that was 5 minutes away from their apartment. The scent of wet leaves filling the surroundings. Some trees half bare, and streets covered in multi-coloured fallen ones. Keith plugged in his ear phones, blocking everything out. He hated the world. He saw no point in all of it. He despises the season change. The weather circumstances. And mostly, he hated that autumn had a wet climate, meaning, that a lot of people took public vehicles to get to their destination. And most of the youth filled the busses' and the older youth of universities -that needed to- the tubes. Sadly to Keith's despite.

Then again, Keith could walk, but that would take him 30 minutes by foot. Not that bad for his situation in a large city.

The sun started rising behind the trees and buildings. The firs sun-rays peeking through. Keith lived around in the quiet part of the city. even if campus might have been 10 minutes away by bus, it was in the centre of the city. It was very busy and noisy over there. The raven haired male came to a stop, and stood at the same old rusty pole. With a bus sign, slightly bumped and crooked. Dirty, filthy and disgusting. It was the same as everyday. Keith hated it when there were breaks after the exams. Luckily he only had one more year to go. Two, If you count this one. The one week Autumn break had just ended. The halloween spirit had died down, but people immediately got into the Christmas spirit. It was only thee months away.

The familiar noise of a bus engine lead Keith out of his trail of thoughts. He turned off his the music playing through his ear buds. And decided to put the plugs away in the pocket of his jacket. When bus came to a stop, Keith got on, only now noticing it was packed. And by packed, it meant grinding-on-strangers packed. Keith showed his pass to the driver, who looked ready to kill himself. Keith mentally scolded the bus driver. Putting away the pass. He started to climb over bags, that were firmly seated between peoples legs for save keeping. He glanced at the people who were squeezed together on the small worn out, leather bus seats, their bags close to their chest. Keith stopped struggling and stood firm, grabbing one of the leather leashes that hung from a horizontal pole above him. His shoulder bag hanging loosely from his shoulder.

The bus was already late by 10 minutes. Keith had noticed earlier. Luckily he took morning classes, and was prepared by coming a half hour to an hour early.

Suddenly, the bus started to move rather roughly, some non-seated people losing their balance, but caught themselves just in time. Nobody was harmed, nor did anyone lose their breakfast. That would've been a chaos. But Keith spoke too soon, when he thought that. Out of nowhere the bus driver decided to make an unexpected, harsh stop. Slamming down on the breaks. Like he had heard Keith scolding at him earlier, for revenge.

Keith lost his grip on the leather leash above him as the 20 people who were standing up, along with Keith, attempted to keep balance. Failing horribly, Keith stumbled forwards, but someone in front of him fell backwards. Bumping against each other, Keith fell again but in the opposite direction. He closed his eyes, as to mentally prepare himself for the harsh impact with the ground. But strangely it never came. A lot of squeaks and screeches were heard throughout the bus. And a lot of bumps and people scowling filled the atmosphere.

Keith felt warm and gentle, yet strong arms wrap around him, as he grabbed firmly onto a soft fabric. A lot of groans were heard around him. But all Keith could hear was his own harsh breathing. He felt a chest raising and falling against his own body, and that brought Keith back into reality. He slowly opened his eyes, peeking around as to find out where he was seated. He was holding onto someone's jacked, sitting on their lap. Their arms around his waist. They sat on one of the drop-out-chairs. The raven looked to his side slightly, being faced by a boy around his age. Nineteen, maybe twenty. Or twenty-one like Keith, but he doubted it. As they made eye contact, a purple like zing flashed through the boys' eyes. He had a caramel coloured skin tone, and eyes as dark blue like the deepest ocean, but shone bright as crystals, diamonds even. He had a sharp jawline and a pointy nose. Thin eyebrows, the colour of them matching his hair. He had thin lips. He was quite tall, despite Keith's knowledge of the boy sitting down and Keith on his lap. He had a slick figure too. From this close distance, Keith could see the few freckles covering his nose and cheeks. And a slight red tint on the boys' face.

Keith noticed he was obviously checking this stranger out. He indeed, was so focused on the boy, that he hadn't noticed the boy was also checking him out. By the time that had passed a bundle of ten people forced themselves on the bus and Keith was stuck where he was. The bus apparently had started moving again. Keith's face grew warmer, as his cheeks started to burn. What should he do? What did everybody else around them think? Some people who weren't there before gave them skeptical looks. And one women huffed, giving Keith a disgusted glare.

Keith felt himself shrink away, deeper into the strangers arms. And magically, it worked. The latino-like male tightened his hold around Keith, without hesitation and glared back at the woman. She rolled her eyes and turned her back towards the two awkward kids. This took Keith by surprise as he looked up at the blue eyed male again, who gave him a small reassuring smile.

''S-Sorry...'' Keith stuttered out, barely above an embarrassed whisper. The boy blinked a few times, and then smiled again, brighter this time, ''It's fine.'' He said. Keith glanced away from the god in front of him and noticed his stop was next. He scanned the poles beside him and found the bell, ringing it.

He noticed the warm breaths hitting the side of his neck, and he tried to hold back a shiver that raced down his spine. The bus stopped calmly this time, and Keith forced his way up, the boys arms retrieving slowly from his waist, as if he didn't want to let go of Keith. Feeling quite cold without the other boy's body against his and without the other's warmth. He shook the thought away, and turned around, apologising once again and stepping of the bus, without sharing another glance. But when he did, he only saw the bus leave in a hassle.

Keith frowned, as he started walking towards the campus, his thoughts replaying the previous events. It's only then, that his face got extremely hot. He had sat, at least 2 minutes on a strangers lap, staring at them. In a bus, full of people. A stranger, who looked quite hot, Keith admitted. He felt so embarrassed. That situation wasn't even normal.

''Holy quiznak...'' Keith muttered as he rubbed his face, trying to get rid of the heat consuming his skin. Like that was going to work. He knew he preferred dicks over chicks, but still. Most guys were assholes with no heart. Keith sighed, not even knowing what to feel at the moment.

He finally got to the VLD building, he had physics and astronomy today. For a second Keith worried he had forgotten his bag in the bus, but he had taken it with him, even in the rush. And he was thankful for that.

He entered the big hall, seeing his friend, sitting there alone. No-one else there yet, just like everyday. ''Hey Pidge.'' Keith muttered, tired. He suddenly had gotten tired over the past 20 minutes. ''Hi Keith, you're later then usual.'' Pidge said looking up from her book. ''Yeah, the bus ran late.'' Keith sighed. Pidge only nodded, as they both held a comfortable silence. That only gave him time, and his mind wandered back to that one specific boy in particular.

After the torture was over, and Keith somehow got lucky in not getting any extra assignments, he and Pidge left the campus. Pidge once told him, she shared a house with two friends. They were also part of her small friendship squad, with two older people who she had met on a convention about the newest technology. They got along quite nicely and became friends despite the age gap.

Pidge is a smart girl. She's three to four years younger than Keith, yet in the same grade. She's like what, sixteen, seventeen and already in college? She skipped a lot of years in elementary and middle school. Her knowledge was very wide.

''Wanna grab some coffee? I know a coffee shop, slash bakery? I don't know, but it's close by! My housemates work there,'' Pidge asked.

''Sure, why not,'' Keith chuckled, not knowing what else to do on a Wednesday afternoon.
