Dear diary,

Today is the day before the starlight or the shooting star festival. I would love to go. It's my dream to go.

"When the sun goes down and the lights burn  out." That's what my parents said to me before a masked man hurt them. My dad is still in a coma. My mum is alive and we were told recently that if we saw a shooting star.... He would come back to us. This would all be put behind us. I'm 16 and I still believe it. My friends would bully me. They would call me nerd.  I found new friends and they loved me. They were called Eleanor, Courtney, Mason and Connor. We all studied astronomy or we studied the stars. My mum told me to shine.... And I would. I was born with facial difficulties so most people picked on me. I was told to not have a team. They all hated me until they heard my story. They cared about me more and the my old "friends" still hated me. So you may be wondering what do I look like? Well people call me lots of names hazel face, crispy duck and hot summer but once.. My crush said he loved me and said I have a face of an angel. I felt love into my heart. He also said he loved my eyes and they looked like shooting stars. My eyes are yellow so that's why and their in a star shape. I can see him saying that. He's called Mason. Yes he's my friend but now we are dating. We have been dating over a year now. He's studying art. Well I can't blame him we are at hopes peak academy ( Danganronpa reference! ) My friend have always been them and we were all scouted for the main course. I'm the ultimate scientist, Connor is the ultimate prosecutor, Courtney is the ultimate defence attorney/ lawyer and Mason is the ultimate artist. We met the 77th class and they are a bit... Harsh on each other! We were the only people who wrote an application and got in. Everyone was so happy for us. But I suddenly realised that.... The starlight festival is on the same day we set foot on the new school.... We were all a bit worried. So we all stayed at my apartment with my mum. We all set up our sleeping bags on my floor and I was nervous the most because I have never had a sleepover. This worried me a bit but we had a great time. We had truth or dare, would you rather and we watched the hunger games ( the whole trilogy ). Since it was the eve of new year ( This was in 2016) so who ever stayed up till midnight would have some candy bags made by me and my mum. I obviously won but Mason and Connor fell asleep as soon the hunger games trilogy ended so I woke them up by playing a long Phoenix Wright and Apollo justice's objections and got its and things like that. Mason woke straight up so we stuffed Connor's pyjamas into the freezer. He ended up shouting at us but my eyes have this strange thing that they could melt any type of solid by just one blink. They were all amazed and turns out my dad woke up! He's coming home with us tonight! We all rejoiced and celebrated to each other. Then... Mason did the thing I thought he would never do. He kissed me. Then he said,

" My beloved grace.. Please... Will you marry me?"

I obviously said yes but I was worried... Will I see my mum and dad again? But I brung up a video until a Skype came up. It was from unknown. I just took the call. It was my dad.
Hey sweetie!
I was happy he loved seeing me again and was doing well. Maybe... The shooting star the doctor was talking about... Was me? No no no... That would be straight forward... Right? But I was petrified to think about it any longer. So I talked with my dad a bit and closed down my laptop.

Samantha was shocked to hear the conscious in her head say it was true. She was sad, anxious and surprisingly hungry so she went down stairs and got herself some jelly donut. She was pretty much worried about the things in life to come...........
