Think about it.

When you break your leg, 

everyone is worried, you're suddenly more fragile than an egg.

That care stops when it comes to your brain, 

the powerhouse cell of this human anatomy, but no no. The brain can't complain.

It is simply impossible that the brain is an organ,

impossible it could ever need repair, you silly people, it's not important.

The brain did not know that by ignoring your nose, 

the doctor wouldn't even bother to give it a dose, especially when it needed it most.

When your whole body plays dead at night,

the brain stays alive and keeps fighting the good fight.

Your thoughts affect your emotions and your emotions affect your decisions your decisions affect your living, 

without this brain that leg wouldn't even know that it was in pain so it might as well stop existing.

This brain can tell you that your body is in pain, that somebody is in pain, but it can't fend for itself,

so do yourself a favour and defend all that you are just as it fights for you, nothing else can protect it- not even that cerebrospinal fluid.

Your mind is everything, so stop pretending like its nothing.
