"Keith, baby," Keith opened his eyes half-lidded, looking up at his boyfriend.

"Keith, finally, you're awake. There's news on Lance," Shiro announced.

Keith sat up and rubbed his eyes, "What news?"

"We have all the results," Shiro handed Keith the papers that the doctor had previously handed to Shiro.

Keith sighed and took the paper, and read it up and down. He looked up at Shiro when he was done, unsure of how to react. Shiro put a hand on his thigh reassuringly, and Keith sat the paper in his lap, fingers still touching it.

At this point, Shiro was asleep on Keith, practically laying in Keith's lap. Keith couldn't stop going over the results.

Lance will be released in a few days--they'll be able to see him next once he wakes up, so hopefully sometime soon. Then, Shiro and Keith will take him home, talk about therapy options, and care for Lance.

Keith sighed, running a hand through his hair. This is something he never thought he'd have to worry about, not from someone else.
