Keith took a long sigh, feeling like he would stop breathing at any second.

He looked around him and his situation. No friends, no family... living in a psychiatric treatment facility. He was the knew guy, so when he went for lunch (which he just sat down alone and poked at) everyone stared at him.

If he wasn't depressed enough to kill himself, he would've cared. Yet, his recent attempt didn't work, so he got sent here, and that did bother him. Oh, the hypocrisy.

Lance, on the other hand, had been in this facility for four days now, after not sleeping for three nights. He had Unspecified Bipolar Disorder and, unfortunately, no treatment. He ended up here after jumping in front of a car, thinking nothing much would come of it, like he was indestructible. When he set his eyes on Keith, he knew what he was there for before he even saw the wraps on his forearms. His eyes were tired and baggy, his hair was a mess, and he moved slow. He tried to kill himself, obviously, but in a way more depressed way than how Lance almost accidentally committed suicide.

Shiro had been there for a while, though he never really said how long. Years? Weeks? Who knew? There was a lot of speculation, and zero facts. He had a missing arm, and had "a few things wrong with him," at least that's how the nurses said it. Shiro was depressed, but also had PTSD. He was on medication, but was also homeless after working in the army, so he volunteered to stay in the facility. He was a bit more stable than everyone else, but everyone thought he could snap any moment being around such loony folks in the loony bin.

Shiro had been watching everyone, Keith and Lance included. Both of them had caught his eye. He wasn't sure why, but they seemed... different. Almost... connected in a way. And since he was awfully bored in a place like an asylum (though he didn't mind it as much, being discplined the way he was), he decided to find out way.

He sat down next to Keith and offered to shake his hand, "Hey, I'm Shiro. It's nice to meet you."
