While Anika was singing , Shivaay has seen love , pain , hurt , unsaid desires and longing in her eyes.

But he had seen something else , something he's not able to put his finger on. But suddenly there was a sparkle in his eyes , his lips curve in a small smile and there was a glow on his face when he finally understood that he had seen hope in her eyes. It was there , just for a fraction of second , but it was there and it was enough to send Shivaay on cloud 9. His happiness knew no bounds when he realised that his Anika has not given up on him , on them. She still believes in their happily ever after.

By the time Anika finished singing her song , every person present there was overwhelmed by the pain held in her voice.

Then Shivaay looked at Anika and he started singing a song , the words were as if he was telling this to her.

It's like any other night and he looks up at the moon like he does every night. Moon has a significant place in their lives as it has always been there witnessing their fights , their care and concern towards each other and their love. He saw a shooting star and remembers how she's just as special , rare and beautiful like it. He sings sweet songs thinking about her , at the watersides. If she was here beside him , he would have sang them for her. A large number of misunderstandings took place between them. It feels like they are at different sides of skyline if it splits in two. They are miles away from seeing each other.

But I can see the stars from America

I wonder, do you see them too?

He can see the stars from here but he does not know if she sees them and think of him like he does every single night.

He wants her to see how their dreams , lives and hearts connect. Even the light in the dark will let her know that they complete each other. He knows it will be painful for them to get over the pain of the past but they both believe they can together get over it. And all the stars will guide them to their home that is with one another.

He still remembers how it felt to be with her. On a radio channel he heard the song 'Chasing cars' playing and it reminded him of the time when she was near him. He looked at her and fell in love with her. The time he realised he loves her , he knew there's nobody else he's ever going to need , the way he needs her. Does she remember him and sees the stars from wherever she is? Does she understands what his heart wants?

So open your eyes and see

I can see the stars from America

He wants her to accept that they both are incomplete without each other. They compliment each other like two pieces of jig saw puzzle. Everything would lead them to be back together. He knows it would be painful for both of them but together they can handle everything. All the stars will guide them to one another. So he sees the stars and believes they will be together.
