Annika's POV

“Annnnniiiiiiiiiiiii ” - shouted Gauri and Bhavya from phone.
That's how my day starts. Sometimes I imagine how they both are alive without killing each other. Let's see what's in store for today.
Ohh by the way I am Annika, a gynaecologist by profession at Lifeline Hospital. And I love my profession.

After dropping Sahil in medical college, I went to my place of worship, my workplace. After entering and greeting everyone, I signed up my name in the register. And went towards my cabin not before telling Raima, my assistant, to send me all the details of today's patients.

And guess what like everyday. Just as I was about to sit on my chair. The phone rang! I so knew who it was. Gauri and Bhavya both video calling me through WhatsApp. Sometimes I wonder how on earth they call every single time when I am just about to sit. Let's see what's the new banter. But honestly I love them!

On video call

Gauri - Anniii do you know what she did. This is enough now i can't stay with her anymore. I am leaving this house where this Maddy stays. *from side "don't you dare call me Maddy, you fatty! *
How dare you call me fatty.

Bhavya - Anni di i swear I am innocent. She was the first to start. You know she threw coffee on my newly made design. I made it after so much of hard work.

Gauri- It was unintentional bhavya, you are overreacting. I will make it again. But what you did is highly not acceptable.

Bhavya- Ohhh please you will draw? Have you checked your handwriting baby? (sarcastically)
Small children also get scared of your doctor's handwriting. I can't even imagine what you will draw.

Gauri - how mean my handwriting is quite good. Hmmph (twisting her lips)

Bhavya- oh please everyone knows--

“Will you guys stop? " - Annika finally spoke between both.

Annika - First of all, tell me patiently what is the matter instead of arguing. OK. (both nodded their head)

Gauri- OK I know I did wrong but the cup unintentionally fell down on bhavya's design. Then out of revenge you won't believe what she did. Did you checked Facebook yesterday?

Annika- No. Why?

(bhavya was busy giggling)

Gauri- (fuming) She won't tell anything. I am saying. She uploaded a picture and wrote "Have You Seen My sister?   *picture *
This is her recent photo.  please help me to find her." I am sending you the picture Ani.

(annika and bhavya started laughing seeing the picture.)

Gauri- Not you Ani. After that everyone in hospital too was laughing. You won't imagine how embarrassing it was!

Bhavya- this is called Tit for Tat. But see isn't the girl looks exactly like you. So pretty (while suppressing her laugh)

Gauri - shut up bhavya. Won't you say anything Ani? Or again you will take your lovely sister's side.

Annika - no no this time I am with you. Bhavya you shouldn't have done this. Fight among yourselves but why including the world to it. Its between you both solve it in the house. This time your punishment is you won't get today's food.

Gauri - what!!! No no Ani it's ok I did a mistake and so she did I forgive her. One day, not eating is too much for a punishment.

(seeing this bhavya had tears. Though she made mistake but still gauri love her so much that she can't take her not eating anything. She hugged gauri tightly and said sorry to which gauri smiled and kissed her forehead. )

Annika - oh hello behen milan hogaya ho toh koi mujhe bhi toh dekho. I know no one loves me. (making a puppy face)

Gauri and Bhavya both in unison said " we love you annika/di."

Gauri - thank you yaar. Tu nehi hoti toh humara kya hota. We would have drowned in ocean.

Annika- hello. Stop exaggerating. Its ok i love you both too. Anyways I know my plan always works (winking)
Acha gauri don't you have to go hospital. Patients tel lene gaye hain kya? And you miss designer bhavya  go and make those designs.

Gauri- arrey Ani! In which world do you live. Have you forgot it's Divya's wedding next week. So I took a day off, we all were planning to go for shopping. When are you coming by the way?

Bhavya- yes di it's been so long we meet. Come soon.

Annika- arre Haa. It totally slipped from my mind. Past weeks have been very hectic. But I have booked train tickets to kolkata.

Gauri- I just don't understand what is there to come by train. Why didn't you booked a flight. Kanjoos.

Annika- No yaar its not about money. I love train journeys. They give so many memories and the scenic beauty is just beyond words.

Bhavya- baat toh sahi hain. Look, maybe you can get your prince charming in this train journey. (winking) kab tak v- card sambhalogi. Next is you in line. (high-fying with gauri)

Annika - oh please. You guys know I have no such interest. Its better to stay unmarried and single than to get into these complicated relationships. Where one always expects and never acts. Please i am not into this.

Gauri - please annika atleast give a try. For how long will you stay like this. Everyone requires a person who will make you smile, who will care for you, respect you and love you like a mad. Trust me the feeling is overwhelming and awesomely pleasant. When you will feel this I bet you will come to me and say this.

Annika - oh beti! Zameen pe aao. Maybe it's for you because you have got Om. But it's impossible in my case. Pray tell who will handle a crack case like me ( laughing)

Bhavya- Dekhna di I am sure you will get your Prince charming.

*knock* *knock*

Annika - okay guys bye. Patients are waiting. Enjoy! i will reach kolkata there by next Monday. And bhavya please select some dresses for me I won't be getting time. I have to complete all the deliveries by Thursday. The Train is on Friday  noon. Bye love you loads! ( flying kisses)

End of call.

" Come In " with this my day started and I began to check the details of my patient. This week is going to be very much hectic but I can't wait to meet gauri and bhavya ofcourse divya too.

While working Gauri's words were ringing on my mind. I want to experience those feelings but relationships are way too complicated for me to handle. And being a doctor I don't think I will ever get time.

I am happy that gauri got someone like  Om but not all are lucky right. Its not easy to cooperate with a doctor's lifestyle.
Anyways why even i am thinking about it. I was always anti-boyish, that's what they say. Maybe! As I was so inclined towards medical studies to even think about all this.
Anyways forget all this Annika and focus on your patients. God! There's a lot of work. But I love doing it.

Love is like a rumor, Everyone talks about it, But no one truly knows.
