Back Story: Shivaay and Annika study together in a University and have been friends for a while. They have been working on a project for the upcoming fest for a while now, which has resulted in them having a good bond and understanding which they call "Frienship"😁.
Although their teammates who are also their close Friends Mallika, Om, and Rudra think there is something more to the bond they share 😉.
Here Annika is the same bubbly girl, but her sensitive point is her character and self respect. Someone pointing at her character is the most painful thing to her, especially if it came from someone close; because what others said about her didn't matter to her because they don't know her personally unlike her close ones!

On the other hand, our Shivaay isn't all rude and arrogant here. He is a simple and sweet loving guy. Although he just loves pulling Annika's leg 😂; which we could also call occasional flirting 😅.

Present situation:-
In a classroom/ study hall in the university

Rudra: Guys! I'm tired!! Let's pack up. We all can continue working on it tomorrow.

Mallika: Ya guys!! I agree with Rudra. We still have a lot of time to complete the project, and we have almost finished half of the work!

Shivay: ok guys! Fine! Let's continue tomorrow. And u are right its getting pretty late already. Let's start packing stuff already!

All are busy packing stuff. Rudra Om and Mallika leave to keep some boxes 📦 in the store room, which leaves Annika and Shivay alone.

Shivay: Annika please bring printouts of layout designs tomorrow, so that we can start working on it tomorrow.

Annika: Okay! I'll send it through someone, because Mallika also won't be here. She has to go somewhere with her family.

Shivay: Why? Aren't you coming tomorrow.?

Annika: No Shivay! Gonna miss me?😏

Shivay: No! It's just good to know that I'm gonna get a day off from tolerating ur madness. 😉😁

Annika: Haaawwwww!! (Hits him playfully)

Shivay: But on a serious note though, why won't you be coming tomorrow?

Annika: I actually have to go tomorrow. Daksh has invited us to hangout and lunch for his birthday.

Shivay: Daksh?
(Shivay knows who Daksh is; and dislikes him because he heard a rumour about him liking Annika. Therefore he is not very happy to hear his name from Annika's mouth)

Annika: Ya! Arre the guy from my morning lectures, the classmate I told you about remember?

Shivay: oh... ok. Ya I remember him. Who all are coming?

Annika: Just some other friends or classmates maybe.

Shivay: Maybe!! And how many girls?

Annika: Don't know the exact no. That Doesn't even matter Shivay!
(Annika replies, while working; completely unaware of the fact how much Shivay is getting irked)

Shivay: It does Annika! You shouldn't be hanging much with him alone. It's not good. How are you even friends with him?

Annika: It isn't a big deal Shivay! (She answers back calmly, trying to make his protective or should I say possessive 'friend' understand.)
We're classmates and it's pretty normal for them to be friends!

( Meanwhile OmRu and Mallika are hearing the whole conversation standing close to the entrance door, and find Shivay getting a bit serious; seeing his expressions and feel its better if they don't interfere)

Shivay: You shouldn't be hanging out with him or other guys Annika! How many times do I have to tell you that! Why don't you just understand that simple thing!
(Shivay says in a demanding tone. Banging his fist on the table)

(Annika gets alarmed 😧  by the bang; and moves behind a bit ; but soon composes herself. She is now getting frustrated and angry with his constant questions, being concerned about his sudden change in calm and composed behaviour at the same time )

Annika: ‭Why are you creating a scene about this Shivay! You have to give me an explanation because I don't understand what's wrong in hanging out with a guy u know!

Shivay: I... Uh .... (He is at loss of words; bcs even he doesn't exactly know why this is bothering him so much! He then explains himself that he's just concerned about her) It just doesn't look good!! (He starts blurting out; without giving a thought about what he is speaking or going to speak) How can You even think about going out with him? (He exclaims holding her tightly by the sides of her arms) I don't even understand how do these guys get the guts to ask you out so easily, which even I can't?
(Shivay blurts out; dropping an obvious hint of jealousy and his love for Annika. But our poor Annika is so I grossed in fighting with Shivay that she obviously ignores it)

Annika: That's totally pointless!
(She says Facing Shivay now! Anger can be seen on her face) Do you realise that you are making no sense right now.

Shivay: It isn't about that Annika!! Just try to understand.

Annika: I can't Shivay! Please explain.

Shivay: Look Annika! I don't want people to see you with him or get a wrong idea about you both. Don't you realise it isn't good for a girl to hang out with any guy!
It doesn't even look Good.
(He says not realising what he is saying)

Annika: Oh my God Shivay! U are unbelievable. From when have been so narrow- minded Shivay that u find a girl hanging out with a guy wrong!!

Shivay: Don't you understand. What if Daksh takes ur friendliness as a wrong hint? You should also think yourself Annika! Is it good for a girl like u to be roaming around with a bunch of Random guys alone! 

(The three spectators are shocked hearing Shivay! I'm just can't believe what Shivay just said! )

Annika: Shivay! (She says shocked🤯)
How can YOU even think about me like that. Don't you know me even a bit?
Don't you trust me? I expected you to know me, understand me. Do YOU seriouslythink that I don't know my limits, Or that I need Male Attention (She says Backing off a little with every sentence. Hurt clearly evident in her eyes)

Shivay: I do!! But.... You never know.
(He says; Anger overpowering him)

Annika is at loss of words. She feels as if she has just been stabbed in the heart!💔
She can feel an acute pain rising in her chest; and tears welling in her eyes.
Without saying anything further he moves Shivay' s hand away and just walks out. Right now she just wants to be alone.

Mallika, on the other hand, being Annika's dear friend can see the damage done. OmRu are shocked by their brother's behaviour.

Shivay is still trying to decipher the fight they had. Realisation dawning upon him.
With every second he is realising the mistake he just made.

Mallika runs behind Annika.
OmRu go towards Shivay. Rudra is upset with his behaviour whereas Om is pretty angry with him.

Om: (shakes Shivay by the arm) Shivay!!  Do u even realise what u just said to Annika. How can u even say something like that to her. What has gotten into you!!

Rudra: Say something atleast! Why did you do it?

Shivay: I know Om! I didn't realise what I went on speaking in Anger. I really upset her. She wasn't even at fault. What should I do now 😔

Rudra: Apologise!! Yes you should Apologise. That's the best you can do right now.

Om: And Confess! (Om added) Shivay I think it's high time now. You first need to clarify within yourself that what bothers you so much. And what do u really feel about her and what are you going to do about it.

Shivay looks over at both of them turn by turn. Trying to take in everything.

Shivay: Yes guys. U are right! You guys wait. I want to meet her alone. I really need to Apologise. I have made a huge mistake.

(He runs out of the building to find Mallika. Mallika stops him. She can clearly seen guilt in Shivay's eyes. Thus, she cannot stay angry on him anymore.)

Mallika: She is sitting in the ground, on one of the benches. She's hurt. Hope you make everything fine.

(She says and leaves.)

Shivay moves towards The ground and soon sees a pale figure sitting on one of the spectator benches, sitting still! Looking aimlessly at something.

(Imagine Annika sitting in the second row; at night time)

Shivay approaches Annika and silently comes and sits beside her. As soon as Annika realises his presence, she proceeds to move But is Feels a tug on her hand.
Shivay is holding her wrist. She tries to free her hand, without looking towards him, but his hold is too strong for her.
Shivay gives a light pull pulling her closer. He holds her by the arms and makes her sit; himself coming and sitting in front of her in the row below.
He then holds her hands gently into his for which Annika is a bit reluctant but she knows all her efforts would be of no use.

Shivay: Annika! Look at me.
(No response)
Annika please. Look I'm sorry. U know I can't ever mean to say like that to you. You know ur Shivay na; I don't realize what I say when I'm angry.

(Still no response)

I'm the most foolish person to ever hurt a person like you. You know what you should punish me. Common Hit me! Slap me!
(He holds her hands, and moves them towards his cheeks, making an action of slapping )

Annika withdraws her hands.

Annika: Shivay!!
(She says raising her head for the first time and looking directly in his eyes.
Her eyes clearly show that they have shed tears)

Annika:Shivay u know na my character matters to me the most. Whatever people think of me or say about me doesn't matter to me because they don't know who I am, or what kind of a person I am but the people who are close to me like you know much more about me than any any stranger passing by; and knows what has made me what I am today and therefore that's the opinion that matters to me the most. Because u know the real me, unlike many other people so what u think really matters to me.
I don't need a character certificate from someone; but still it hurt to know that after knowing me all this while this is the image I had constructed in your Mind about me.
It hurt Shivay! It really did! And I'm not going to refuse it.

Shivay (looks into her eyes): Annika (He holds her face in her hands tenderly) I'm really sorry. I never meant to hurt you.
I really don't know what got into me or what was was I thinking. Please please please forgive me. I'll do whatever you say. Just don't leave me. Please don't leave me... I didn't mean any of it. I am sorry 😣(He kept on blabbering...; unsure of what to say to comfort her)(his eyes started becoming teary of the fear of loosing her)

Annika: Shivay! It's okay. Calm down! I forgive you! (Shivay suddenly stops mid sentence, staring at her; looking for reassurance) I really do!
But I have to know what bothered you so much about me going out with a guy or particularly Daksh because whatever happens U know I don't want to make u upset. U also know I don't refuse to anything u say! So this matters to me and I want to know!!

Shivay: Ann..ika. I don't know really!! All I know is you really matter to me in all aspects. I don't want to see you going out with guys or Daksh. I don't want you to get hurt. I want you to stay safe and happy!! Really! And I mean it. And I would do anything possible to do so.

Annika: (trying to cheer up a little) Shivay. You are also a guy. Does that mean I should stop Hanging out with  you too?? 🧐 Or are u not a complete guy. I'm really getting doubtful😉

Shivay(hits her playfully on the arm): 😒
I meant any other guy Duffer! 😒 That doesn't include me. I'm always available for you! My Paanika😘!

Annika: Shivaaay .... by the way was someone getting jealous by someone sometime back? 😏

Shivay: NO!! Never! Why would I get jealous of anyone .. when I know U R mine!!

Annika: Mine?

Shivay: Yes (He says proudly)😁

Annika: 😒 And when did u decide this 😒 Who am I to you again? Can you please elaborate...

Shivay: arre.. U r my My Best Bud, My one and Only, My Paanika, My.......  um.... G ...😐  
(Annika was eagerly waiting to hear

(But He was interrupted by a stupid call 🤦🏻‍♀️. The worst timing!! Both of them literally cursing the caller under their breaths...... The caller Id Showed MAA ...( one very own Pinky 😅)

Pinky: Where is my Heera Beta! It has been so long! U aren't even replying to my messages! OmRu said u were busy! Where exactly are u?

Shivay: Mom! OmRu were saying Correct! I'm actually really busy.
(To which Annika frowned)
Pinky: Really? What is more important than ur mother! I know How much lazy u are! Liar! Will you now lie to ur mother!?!

Shivay: No mom!  Seriously I'm here with someone really important !!
(And here our Annika is confused; and can't stop making cute faces)

Pinky: ok! You tell me who u are with and I won't disturb u.

Shivay: Mom..... Actually......

Pinky: Say fast son!! Who are u with ....

Shivay: My Girlfriend!
