The boy was completely drenched in water. He was not really shocked but he was much angry.
"Fhat the wuck! Now why did throw water on me?" He asked almost hollering at his best friend.
"Because I'm irritated with you Shivaay" She growled at him.

"But why PANIKA?!" Shivaay asked acting all the way innocent making Anika, his best friend even more angry.
"Don't you call me that baagad billa!" She hollered at him when he said back jumping around her irritating her more,"then for sure I will Panika"

A/N ~ Presently, Shivaay and Anika are kids aged 12 years. Childhood Best friends.

"Okay okay sorry Anu! Tell me what happened?" He asked with concern when she, crossing her hands said "why the hell did you go sit with that luchi tuchi TANYA during lunch hour today?"
Shivaay, laughing said "Anu yaar, because she asked me a doubt and I cleared it"
"Okay fine! Because of you I didn't even eat my lunch today! You know if you are not there next to me, I won't eat my lunch!" She said with a pout at the end.

"Even I didn't eat" Shivaay confessed when Anika asked back in shock, "What? But why! You should have eaten Shivaay"
"Because I was not next to you" he said when she instantly replies pinching his cheeks, "Aww Billu😍 you are so cute!"
"Anu!" He called out to her very embarrassed, continuing "Dadi bhi na! She always calls me that billu! Now you also" he finished with a pout at the end.
"now you are even more cuter" she chuckles pulling his cheeks hard.

"Billu... Anu puttar..." Dadi called out to them from downstairs. Anika couldn't stop laughing now. Seeing her, Shivaay too started laughing on himself.

Scene freezes

LEAP ~ after 14 years

At Oberoi office, Shivaay over his phone "Hello, Shivaay Singh Oberoi!"
In the middle of his call, he broke his phone to let his anger out.
"Mishra!" Shivaay yelled when his personal secretary came running into his cabin.
"Yes sir!?" Mishra responded hell scared of his boss when Shivaay ordered,"Tell Mr.Ketan to meet me. Right away"
In minutes, Ketan, one of his employee comes running to his cabin.
"Excuse me sir. May I know what happened?!" He managed to ask when Shivaay said sternly,"YOU ARE FIRED!"
"But sir, I..." He was about to say further but Shivaay just said,"LEAVE!"

Scene freezes

At another office in US,
"Khannaji, I have a meeting with one of our clients in India. So I need to leave as soon as possible! Please make the necessary arrangements!" Anika stated when Khanna, her personal assistant said back,"But ma'am, sir will not allow you to..." He couldn't continue further as he heard his boss say sternly, "Khannaji, it's final!"

Scene freezes.

Very soon Anika reaches India.

(As years passed by, though Shivaay and Anika didn't meet each other they developed feelings for each other but they didn't realize their feelings.)

Anika's pov ~

14 long years! I still didn't forget him! How could I even?! And there was no day I didn't remember him. He is my...

Shivaay's pov ~

Why do I feel as though something is going to happen today. I feel as though I'm alive again! Jaise ki A... No way! There was no day I didn't remember her.

His thought his heart was filled with hate for the last line he thought about Anika but truly he was just angry with the person he wanted the most.

Just then Shivaay gets a call,
"Yes Mishra" Shivaay answered his call in his bossy tone when he hears back, "Sir our client wants to meet you by 11.00 A.M at The Taj today!"
He leaves to Taj hearing this.

11.00 A.M @Taj

Shivaay enters the hotel and so does Anika but don't notice each other. Their client, to be particular both having the same client was already waiting for them. (A/N ~ Destiny plans their meet!)

Anika was the first to reach the table where their client was waiting.
"Hello Ms.Rathore!" Anika greeted her formally shaking hands.
Shivaay gets to know his client was waiting at table number 12. As he approaches, he notices his client sitting while another girl standing facing the other side of him.

Anika after greeting steps back to take her seat failing to notice that she was stepping on her skirt. She was to fall when a strong pair of hands caught hold of her. She was still closing her eyes in fright when she heard,"Are you okay?" from Ms.Rathore, the client.

She adjusted herself without looking up and mutters a thanks to the person who saved her from falling. The weird part she felt was that she didn't feel uncomfortable in the person's arms.
Shivaay, the person who caught hold of her was continuously looking at her knowing that she was his ANIKA.
"Ms.Anami, this is SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI!" Ms.Rathore introduced her other client to her.

Anika's heartbeat skipped for a second hearing his name. Shivaay didn't understand why his client called Anika as Anami but he didn't show out his feelings. She immediately looked up to see Shivaay staring at her. She was lost into him completely, his KHANJI AANKE were really addicting. She couldn't see any kind of reaction in him to her dismay.

Shivaay not looking at Anika anymore speaks to his client with much attitude,"Ms.Rathore I think we should discuss about business rather than wasting time on people" saying he flicked his hair.

Anika's pov ~

Finally I met him but didn't he recognise me? That's not possible! He is not my Shivaay whom I knew. He is Shivaay Singh Oberoi! No-No Stone Singh Oberoi! I need to do something about this!

Very soon they take their seats facing each other. They discuss business matters but Shivaay didn't try to understand Ms.Rathore's problem as he was busy thinking about Anika. Finally, he showed his anger for Anika on Ms.Rathore "DEAL CANCELLED!" He said coldly shocking Ms.Rathore.
"What! But Mr.Oberoi..." She tries explaining but before that,

Splash.

"Fhat the wuck! What have you done Ani... I mean Ms.Anami!" Shivaay almost hollered trying to sound rude.
"Mr.Oberoi I hope now you can think properly! TANDI DIMAAG SE SOCHIYE" she enunciated when Shivaay just left from there without uttering another word.
"Don't worry Ms.Rathore. Your deal is not cancelled" Anika said smiling to Ms.Rathore who was tensed.

Scene freezes.

Shivaay's pov ~

"She has never changed! The same paani wala fight! PANIKA" He smiles thinking about her but then he remembers something. He lost his smile and resumed back to his SSO mode.

Anika stayed back in India for a few more days as she still had work. Two days passed off very quickly. She gets a call,"Hello Harsh!" Anika answered when she heard back, "Hello jaan! I'm really angry with you!"
Anika who could feel the tendon in his voice said,"I'm really sorry papa!This was important to attend. So only"
"Not important than your life jaan" he said.
"Papa, your jaan is strong enough to handle any situation..Hoon mei khidkithod!Apki beti Jo hoon" she said when he chuckled, "okay okay I know you are my jaan! Please take care of yourself"

"Okay done I will! You know what papa, I met him!" said Anika excitedly.
"Really?! But who!? I forgot his name. Wait is it Rahul? Or Karan or... But they are your US friends. Then..." Her father asked teasing her indirectly.
"Okay hold on. You know who it is Harsh!" She said faking anger.
"No I don't know jaan. Please tell me" he said acting innocently.
"You are such a drama king. Of course it's Shivaay" she said while her father felt his daughter's excitement in her voice.

Very soon she told her father about her encounter with Shivaay and became sad.
"Jaan please sort out everything! I know how difficult it would have been for you" Harsh spoke very much upset when Anika assured him, "Papa, I will take care of that. Don't worry! Bye"

Scene freezes.

Harsh Singhania ~

Anika's father, famous business tycoon. His love and his life is his daughter. Harsh worked really hard to reach that level.

Scene shifts somewhere in India,

"Boss, the princess of Singhanias has come to India" a person spoke over the phone with his boss when he heard a reply, "That's a Great news. Finish off your work soon and get your payment"

Shivaay didn't cancel the deal as Anika told he wouldn't. (A/N ~ Her confidence on him). He knew Anika was in India but he didn't even try meeting her again. He felt like his heart was somewhere else, he felt as though he was physically present and mentally absent all the while. Anika too had similar side effects of meeting Shivaay after fourteen long years.

Gaining courage, Anika called Shivaay because she knew he was angry with her. Their conversation,
"hello" Anika initiated. Though Shivaay knew it was Anika, he acted as though it was an unknown call.
"Hello, Shivaay Singh Oberoi here" he answered in his stern voice.
"Shi..." She starts to call out his name but stops herself. She continued,"ANIKA SINGHANIA here. I just wanted to mee..." She didn't still finish as he interrupted her,"we need to meet Ms.Singhania"
"Fine Mr.Oberoi!" She said before cutting the call.

Shivaay was in a mixture of emotions. He was angry because she called him Mr.Oberoi, at the same time happy as he was going to see his Anika and finally sad that he was going to end everything that was there between them.

Shivaay's pov ~

She left me in darkness. I was mad to think about her and expect... I cannot handle this anymore! I will finish this off today at any cost.

Thinking, he broke his phone in anger and flicked his hair.

Anika's pov ~

He called me Ms.Singhania?! He knows I don't like being called like that but... Why Shivaay?!

As she thought, tears fell from her eyes. She was not able to bear his silence. He didn't speak a word to her. He didn't even try looking at her. This hurt her so much.

You don't know how difficult it was for me to stay away from you Shivaay! The sleepless nights I spent. Now also I am not able to stay away from you, but...
