// Coffee //
It was their first proper date. Shiva was 18. Raavi was 17. They were beyond excited for this date! It would usually be very difficult for them to find some alone time for themselves, especially after they got together it seemed as if everyone had their eyes on them! Dhara Bhabhi was relentless, she kept trying to poke Shiva to get a reaction out of him, but he held strong, despite the amounts of times she had tried to patch Raavi with some random fellow who had a crush on her, Shiva didn't scare them off, no matter how tempted he was, Dhara would find out and then end up making a big deal out of it. So far it was just Krish from the family who had found out, entirely on accident. The idiot simply had to barge into them making out in the store room of Pandya Store. Well to be fair it was not Krish's fault as well, the store room of the Pandya Store wasn't a great place to get hot and heavy. Shiva had then started building his little cabin, close to his tree in the woods by the highway, there was a patch of land that he owned, his father had saved that little patch of land for him, and Shiva was grateful for that now, with Kaka's help they had managed to clear up the surrounding area and started working on a foundation for a little cabin house. Kaka of course knew about the both of them, Shiva couldn't keep anything from the sweet man, he simply had to tell him everything!
Today was their date and Shiva decided he would get ready a little, maybe polish himself up a bit, he wore his usual denims and his vest and a red-checkered Shirt, he quickly ran to the store, knowing that it would just be kaka who would be there and nobody else to question him. He got there huffing and puffing, he didn't want to be late. Swiping his sandals and socks for a pair of nice sneakers, he got rid of his vest and buttoned up his shirt, leaving a couple of buttons open, just so that his trishul peaked out. He raced off to the cafe.
Raavi had selected this cafe knowing it's location would be very convenient for the both of, in case they bumped into anyone they knew they could simply run off to Shiva's cabin, She had been there ready and waiting for her boyfriend to show up, it still felt different to call him her boyfriend, a good kind of weird, she absolutely couldn't wait. She had worn her prettiest blue dress, it reached her knees and fit her well in all the right places. As she waited for him she thought about the only downside of the cafe. It was an expensive place.
Shiva reached the cafe soon and immediately regretted letting Raavi pick the spot. This Chipkali was gonna get him to go bankrupt. Her pouty face would make it worth it anyway. He couldn't even be mad at her. Cursing himself for being such a simp, Shiva trudged in.
He was greeted by the sight of an excited Raavi bouncing up and down in her seat, she looked like a literal baby angel he decided as he took in the sight of her in her blue dress, her face bright and glowing, eyes wide in excitement and lips stretched into a wide toothy smile! His heart skipped a beat, how could be not simp over this absolutely adorable woman? Gosh he wanted to smother her with his love.
He approached her immediately and sat down on the chair opposite to her, giving her a little smile, his little smile had her swooning and thanking the gods for bestowing him as her boyfriend.
"Order kiya?"
"Haan 2 mocha bola maine"
"Aae, hum toh coffee ke liye aayethe na, yeh mocha vocha kya hai Chipkali?"
"Mocha bhi coffee hi hota hai, order aagaya, ja jaake leke aa"
Shiva nodded and walked off, already feeling his wallet burn a hole. He was sure whatever mocha thingy she order was something very weird, he reached the counter and picked up their drinks, they looked like coffees, he just hoped it tasted like one, the barista caught his suspicious look and smiled at him reassuringly, at least that was what he tried to do.
"Don't worry sir, yeh bhi coffee hi hai, just doosra naam hai, jaise aur bhi hai, cappuccino, latté jaise"
"Tum log alag alag naam daalke, kaat the rahe ho humara"
Shiva said, sarcastically, upon looking at the barista's embarrassed face he elaborated.
"Sab coffee hi hai na, phir yeh alag alag naam rakh ke sab ko confuse karke accha business karlete ho tum log"
Shiva shook his head and walked off. This was one expensive date for an 18 year old with a Bhabhi who was very stingy with pocket money. He was right, the bill did burn a hole in his pocket. Raavi how ever made up for it with the sweet kisses she had given him at the end of the day.
