Despite how he acted I could tell he looked defeated. He hid his emotions behind a Playboy facade as a way to make himself feel better. I don't know why, it could be a number of reasons. He could've been hurt in the past, used by someone he trusted, left to feel abandoned, etc.

I could tell it wasn't because he's an asshole or fuckboy. There was hurt behind his eyes. The bimbo that walked up to him couldn't see it, all she cared about was having his dick inside of her. He went with her willingly but I could tell a part of him was hesitant.

Most people wait till after they have sex with someone to tell them they don't want anything serious but not him, he told her right away he didn't want anything serious.

I respected that. If he had gotten hurt it was clear he didn't want to do the same to anyone else but still intended on having fun. I don't know why I was interested in him, I had only known him for a few minutes.

When he first walked into the club he looked like a man on a mission but when he was sitting next to me it was as if he didn't know what to do. He could only figure it out when the Burnett walked over.

I would be lying if I said I didn't want him to take me to the back instead. He was obviously good looking and I seriously doubted he didn't know what to do involving intimacy.

When I first arrived in the village I didn't think there would be anything to excite me for a while. I was currently looking for a new village to move to since I was forced out of my old home. So far I've been to two other villages before coming to this one.

There wasn't necessarily anything bad about them. The people were nice and the workload for Jonins was decent. Despite making a few friends in both places I just couldn't help but feel as if I didn't belong. It felt like something was missing.

Now that I arrived in the hidden leaf I've come to learn that that something missing was excitement and fun. The more I thought about Shisui the more I couldn't wait to see him again and hopefully get to know him.

I know our meeting was brief but I've been trained well in reading people. I could tell by the way that he was sitting that he was naturally laid back and carefree.  I just wish he would've been more talkative to me like he was with that girl.

I let out a sigh as I got ready to leave for the day and explore when I heard a tapping at my window. I turned around and noticed a messenger hawk with the Hokage symbol was sitting outside with a note around it's neck.

I immediately went to let him in. He flew into my open palm and allowed me to undo the string that held the note.

I had to ask for directions to where I needed to go but once I had them I made a B line there. The guards allowed me to head inside and showed me the way to his office. I knocked and made my way inside once given permission.

"You wanted to see me, sir"? "I did. It's been brought to my attention that your new in town". "I am. I arrived late last night so I wasn't able to meet up with you and let you know of my arrival even though I'm more than certain you could feel my chakra presence".

"Your right I could. That doesn't answer why you're here in the first place". "My old village kicked me out after my mother's death. I just want a fresh start". "Any specific reason why"? I looked to the side.

"Will I be refused entrance if I say no"? "No, but I would prefer you to give me an answer once you've lived here for a few months". I looked back at him. "I can do that". He threw me a headband which I caught.

"There is something I was hoping to ask you, sir". "Go ahead". "I know Jonin are normally assigned genin teams to mentor and train but if it's ok with you I would like to be on a two-man team with Shisui".

"Any particular reason"? "No sir". "Are you aware that Shisui Uchiha is my nephew"? "I am now". "Very well, consider it done". "Thank you, sir".
