Chilled kinda stares at Adam from across the park, wondering why Adam was under the shade of a oak tree, it was pretty chilly outside and the shade would only make it colder. Adam and his whole family were.. Mysterious to the rest of the town. Chilled sees Adam look over at him and he quickly looks down, not wanting to be caught staring. He can hear Adam's chuckle, and he doesn't know why, but it makes his heart flutter in his chest. He bites his lip and glances up, only to see Adam staring at him now.

He feels his cheeks heat up as he looks back at the ground, biting his lip. He didn't even realize how hard he was biting it until he feels the blood trickle down his chin, and Adam could smell the blood. How? Because he's a vampire, and so is the rest of his family. Now he's torn between running over there to help him, risking his control over himself. Or stay where he is and let Chilled bleed, quite frankly, he doesn't want to smell that delicious blood anymore.
