In this Barry doesn't have his powers yet and Oliver just came back from the island and became the Green Arrow. But he's still not trusted by police and shit.

Oliver. That name never left Barry's mind after he went on that ship and was declared dead after the ship sunk. Oliver used to be his friend, god he used to be his crush, part of him still longs to be his. Barry has avoided anything to do with Oliver, it pains him too much. He hears his name in a conversation or on the tv? He either zoned out or walks out of the room. He avoids people who remind him of Oliver, he remembers that when he first heard, he avoided Iris and even Joe because they reminded him too much of Oliver.

Not the Oliver people knew from tv, the cheating fuckboy one, the one he knew personally, the kind, caring one. The one that would comfort him through text after a nightmare. The one that went all the way to Central City just to give him his birthday gift in person. He still has it, it wasn't extravagant, at least not in looks, it was a small robot that could be controlled by a bracelet. To be honest, he carries it around everywhere in his backpack, and he wears the bracelet all the time.

And right now, as far as he knows, it's the only thing able to save him at the moment. Right now Barry has found himself handcuffed to something on top of the tallest building in Starling City, a guy near him as people inside the building rob it. His backpack is near the guy, and it's open, which is extremely lucky. He uses the bracelet/remote to get the robot to come out of the bag quietly. He presses s button to make it's legs grow and has it grabs the keys, somehow the guy doesn't notice as the robot goes to Barry on its wheels.

Then it happens, a person in a green costume suddenly kicks down the door to the roof and shoots the guy guarding Barry with an arrow. Barry's eyes widen as he watches this, and they widen even more when the man in green gets closer to him. But they widen the most when the man gasps and yells, "Barry?!" Fuck fuck he knows my name how the hell does he know my name- "Wh-Who are you..?" "I.. don't really have a name yet." I don't think he does at the time this is placed at least it's been forever okay . The man looks at the robot and Barry can see his smile in the moonlight, the rest of his features are covered by the shadows. Police sirens can be heard in the distance, "We need to get out of here!" The man says and grabs the robot, taking the keys from it.

He unlocks the handcuffs, grabs Barry's backpack, puts the robot in it, and hands Barry his backpack. Then he gets them the fuck outta there. Once they're in a safe place, the man  sets Barry down, having been carrying him the whole time. Barry looks at him and slowly says something, "You know who I am.." "Yes, I do.. and?" "Can I know who my savior is..?" Barry asks, almost immediately mentally slapping himself for asking the dumb question. He nearly chokes when the man says yes, the man wipes away something on his eyes and pulls down his hood.

Barry's eyes widen as who he sees as tears start to weld in his eyes. His voice cracks as he says in barley a whisper, "O-Oliver..?"
