The Ultimate Matchmaker Strikes Again!
"That's it for today class! Naegi~Kum should be here any minute!" Ms. Maizono ended the class. Aiko Hagiwara tapped her desk anxiously. Ms. Maizono took no mind to it, as she sorted papers on her desk. Some chose to follow her lead and ignore, while some glared at her annoyance.
"The ultimate matchmaker is ready to strike any minute now." Opal Throok, the ultimate journalist commented. "You do that when your "otps are happening". Opal looked at her classmate in neither annoyance, nor empathy, but amusement. It had always amused her how even the smallest details could change everything, but didn't everything interest her? She closed her journal. This journal wasn't for school, but her own private journal, neatly organized into sections, containing her life details. Opal was very forgetful, and always tried to keep her journal with her. She would often write notes during class. Mostly, of the habits of those surrounding her.
"I'm quite surprised." The ultimate traveler exclaimed sarcastically. Michiko Volkov spoke in an Irish accent. "I must say this is uncommon." She finished her statement, sarcasm filling its every crack. This time, she spoke in a British accent.
"Making small talk, our we?" The voice of Mirajane from Fairy Tail asked them. They all snapped their heads to Mariya Kuriyama, the ultimate dub actor. She grinned at them before speaking in her normal voice. "Though this isn't uncommon." She smiled at them before the girl next to her spoke.
"I really am curious though, who could the lucky ducks be?!" Zoë Rosas exclaimed. The ultimate actor ran a hand through her hair, as she exchanged eye contact with Aiko.
"Lucky ducks? Really? I personally wouldn't want anything to do with her schemes." The ultimate craftsman, Akiyama Gushiken, muttered from his seat.
"You're her next victim, I can feel it." From besides him, the ultimate ringmaster spoke. Maiko Kamei stretched off to the side of her desk. She walked towards the back of the room, intending to grab a prop hulla hoop.
"Why wouldn't he?" Aiko's tapping intensed as she grew less patient. She looked over toward Maiko.
"I knew it, Aki, catch!" Maiko whisked the hoop to Akiyama as if it were a Frisbee. He caught it in a swift motion and walked towards her side of them room.
"How many people do you plan on roping I to your trap anyways? I'm guessing I'm already in it." Kisho Imada asked the matchmaker from the back of the room. The ultimate inventor had a pockey sticking out of his mouth, of which he began to noisily chew. Akiyama held the hoop about five feet off the ground. Maiko stretched once more before bendig over, placing her hands on the ground, flipping her legs over, and guiding them through the hoop.
"Sure are, her initials are MK!" Aiko removed her glasses, wiping them on her shirt to clean them. Maiko had successfully flipped through the hoop, landing on both feet. She began to summersault around the room while speaking.
"Better not be me. No offense, Kisho." Aiko shook her head, while Kisho smiled at her.
"None taken." Kisho told her. The former ultimate pop sensation smiled at her class. She had no reason to interrupt them, and began to brush off left over pieces of chalk from the chalkboard. Her colleague, Ibuki Mioda, the former ultimate musician, was absent today, resulting in a neater room.
"Its not me, right?" Mariya asked Aiko, who again shook her head. Maiko had stopped doing summersaults, so she rested on her desk. Akiyama was putting the hoop away for her.
"Let me guess, its Mayumi Kasai." Opal browsed through her journal, resting her finger on the corner of one page, on which she had written this speculation.
"Correct! You notice everything, don't you Opal?" Aiko exclaimed. She began to fix her blonde hair into a messy braid.
"After that, its a matter of remembering it, or taking note of it elsewhere." Opal replied, as if that would answer her question. She took another note down on an empty corner. This one was contained the fact that Akiyama always put Maiko's hoop away.
"How did you know, more importantly." Kisho glared at Opal, a blush evident on his cheeks. Opal didn't turn back to face bik, leaving him to glare at her back.
"Its those who take notes who realize everything." Opal told him, flicking her black hair as if to mock him. He just shrugged and looked back down. "Mayumi Kasai is a reserve course student, isn't she?" Opal asked no one in particular.
"Yes! I met her the other day! She's always talking about how we're better then her, though." Zoë answered.
"An inferiority complex. Like our janitor." Michiko commented. "Though Mr. Komeada's is probably far more severe." Michiko spoke again in an Italian accent.
"His inferiority complex drives me crazy. The ultimates this, I'm a useless scum that. I personally can't stand it!" Momo Naito, the ultimate lucky student, complained from the back of the room. She wasn't mean, she just spoke her mind.
"Yeah, can get ridiculous." Mariya agreed with her classmate.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. Ran into Kirigiri~San." Mr. Naegi apologized. Aiko's taps became thumps, but she also began to kick at the ground. Opal chuckled.
"Frustrated?" Opal asked her amused. Aiko just sighed and stop kicking her legs on the floor. Her thumps, however, grew boisterous. Naegi had always walked his students from class to class, to pass the time he had, and to keep Ishimaru from having a hissy fit.
"We'll go on head, Sensei, you can stay here and talk with Sayaka~Chan!" She got out of her seat, and grinned at him innocently.
"Okay then. Here's your lunch Naegi~Kun! You said you had nothing so I whipped up something during break!" Mauzono handed Naegi the bento box, as the students file out of the classroom.
"The ultimate matchmaker strikes again!" Mariya chirped out in the voice of Mey-Rin from Black Butler.
"Doesn't she always?" Michiko commented. The smile on Aiko's face was so wide, that it made her cheeks hurt. But it was worth it!
