You're The Only One For Me {Anju x Leviathan}
@Anju-Writes I did more, took me a long fuckin time, but it's literally filler

"What the hell are these?" Anju questioned as she looked at what that was placed in her hand.
Hailey scoffed playfully, "Whadda mean? Isn't it what you asked for?"
Anju chuckled, "No, I didn't ask for literal hell peppers. I meant the spice."
Hailey's cheerful expression sank along with her shoulders. "You mean I spent over five hours in the demon greenhouse- which mind you, has human eating plants- only for you to tell me that I could have went to the store and bought it?"
Anju laughed at Hailey's overreaction and patted her lowered head, "I'm sure Beel would appreciate these as a snack."
"He'll appreciate anything as a snack." Hailey retorted, but shrugged off her defeated demeanour.
Just then, Beelzebub's head peered into the kitchen, his expression reminding the girls of an excited puppy.
"I heard the word snack and my name, are you making something for me?" He inquired, eagerly.
"It's more like a weak ass attempt to make some human realm dishes for dinner tonight." Anju answered with a shrug.
"Sorry Beel." Hailey smiled at him.
"Ah, that's okay. But seeing you here reminds me; Hailey, Belphie was looking for you. He said he needed you to help him with catching up with his studies." Beelzebub remembered, then grinned, "But I'm guessing he'll just want to catch up on a few naps."
Hailey giggled, "No doubt on that, but I guess I'll go help him out."
"Didn't know that the Avatar of Sloth needed help with falling asleep." Anju remarked knowingly, as she and Beelzebub watched Hailey leave the kitchen.
Beelzebub chuckled, "He doesn't, but I think he doesn't want to admit that he likes to be cuddled by Hailey."
Then Beelzebub's nose picked up the smell of what Anju was holding in her hands. His eyes lit up and his mouth watered.
"Are those hell peppers?"
"Yeah, Hailey got the wrong kind for my fire cracker chicken." Anju answered, holding up the peppers. "I could grind them up, but I don't want to waste the rest of them."
Anju pretended to be coy with the Avatar of Gluttony, knowing full well that he would offer to eat the remaining-if not all- of the peppers.
"I can help you with that." Beelzebub offered, a bright look on his face.
"With dinner or eating everything?" Anju teased, raising a playful eyebrow.
"I meant help with eating everything you don't end up using." Beelzebub answered, unsuspecting.
Anju chuckled at the big boi's behaviour, "Alright then." She then made her way to the sink to wash the peppers.
After scrubbing off any and all dirt off of the vegetables, then drying them, Anju examined the appearance of one of peppers very closely. Anju then held the hell pepper up to Beelzebub.
"I don't know much about the produce down here." Anju admitted, "Do you think this would be ripe enough? I know how Asmo gets when 'the finest foods do not enter his temple of a body'."
Beelzebub inspected closely at it, looking for any sign of bruising or discolouration.
"Hm, looks good to me." Beelzebub noted before leaning in and taking a large bite of the pepper, leave only the stem and very little left. "It tastes pretty good too." He smiled happily.
Instead of unleashing a string of Spanish curse words at the demon for eating the pepper that she was about to use, Anju gave Beelzebub a soft look. He looked just like a puppy when he asked if he could have another one. Not taking a moment to think about it, Anju set her hand on the top of Beelzebub's orange locks.
"You're lucky that you're cute." She hummed fondly.
Unbeknownst to the two, Leviathan had walked into the kitchen, hoping to find Anju and have some time alone with her. But when he laid eyes upon Beelzebub and Anju interacting, his jealous rose up very quickly. Avatars of Envy, am I right?
Anju took notice that Leviathan had entered the kitchen, "Oh, hey, Levi! Do you need something?" She asked, happy to see him.
Leviathan gave his brother and girlfriend a harsh glare, "No! I don't need ANYTHING! SORRY for interrupting!" He shouted angrily, before stomping off.
There was an awkward moment of silence before there was a loud slam heard throughout the whole household.
"Did we make Levi mad?" Beelzebub frowned.
"Maybe, sometimes I forget that he's the Avatar of Envy." Anju sighed, as she stared at the doorway.
Not much time passed when Anju's D.D.D. began to ring. Seeing that the contact calling was Hailey, Anju answered the call and put the call on speaker.
"Okay, you answered, so it wasn't what Belphie thought." Hailey remarked. "You heard that slam though, right?"
"I'm pretty sure Diavlo heard it from his castle, Hailey." Anju playfully scoffed.
"Uh oh." Hailey clicked her tongue. "Levi just sent me a text saying that I've been promoted to his favourite normie. Did you guys fight or something?"
Anju let out a deep sigh as she ran her hand through the scalp of her brown locks. "Dios, qué desastre. I didn't think he'd be this pouty about some platonic PDA."
Hailey understood and noted, "You should probably clear things up with him, he seems pretty upset."
"I know, I just need to think about how to go do that. Still on kitchen duty, then if I can't get him to open his door, I'll have to kick it down." Anju pondered out loud.
"Gimme like five-no seven- no it'll take ten- yeah, gimme ten minutes to get Belphie off of me." Hailey affirmed, only for Belphegor to pipe in that Hailey should multiply that estimated time by fifty, because he had no ambition of waking up from his nap anytime soon.
"I can make dinner for you, while you go check on Levi. If he's mad at me, can you tell him that I'm sorry?" Beelzebub suggested, feeling bad for the situation and guilty for making his brother upset.
"Beel, we literally don't deserve you." Hailey said through the phone, before Anju hung up the phone on her.
"Thanks Beel, I'll owe you." Anju smiled thankfully.
Beelzebub grinned, "I might take you up on that. Mammon's card keeps getting declined when we go to Hell's Kitchen."
Anju chortled, "That's just Mammon in general, but I'll make sure to keep some extra money on hand anyways." Then she left the kitchen and towards the bedroom door of her boyfriend.
Seeing how it would be pointless and a waste of time to hesitate, Anju knocked on the wooden door.
"I'm coming in now, Levi. I wanna talk to you." Anju announced before opening the door and allowing herself entry.
Leviathan sputtered in what he meant to sound like annoyance, but he was embarrassed. "Wh-what?! You just barged in here!"
Anju shrugged her shoulders, "Hey, I still gave you a warning before coming in."
Leviathan frowned, "Well you didn't give me a lot of time to react."
"Wanna talk about why you're all pouty?" Anju inquired, shutting the door behind her.
Sinking further into his beanbag, Leviathan looked away from Anju and focused his attention on the game that finished loading on his television screen. He murmured something along the lines of 'you already let yourself in, so what choice do I have?', as he pressed some buttons on the controller in his hands.
Anju let out a sigh, as she pulled an empty beanbag beside the one that Leviathan was already sitting on, and plopped herself on it to side close to her boyfriend. There was a heavy awkward silence among the two, Anju didn't want to force Leviathan to hear some lecture about how he didn't need to worry about her leaving him for one of his brothers or someone else, so she didn't know how to start the conversation.
"I think you already know what I'm gonna say." Anju started, then waited for her beloved to answer back.
"Doesn't matter... It still hurts when you choose my brothers over me."
"Levi, you know that I'd rather spend all my time with you, and I treat you different than everyone else." Anju pointed out. "Sure, I tend to be an affectionate person sometimes, but that doesn't mean I do less with you. You're the only demon who can handle a human like me."
"Do you..think that I'd make a good human?" Leviathan suddenly questioned, still avoiding eye contact and focusing on the game he was playing.
"..I ..think you would." Anju answered, allowing him to lead the conversation.
"Would you have..even dated me if I was a human?" Leviathan asked, becoming more hesitant with his words.
"If we were able to cross paths, probably. You'd still be the same person that you are, just without the demon form and fancy title." Anju replied honestly.
Leviathan then paused his game and looked down at his controller with hesitance.
"If I weren't around, would you have dated Beel?" He inquired, his voice filled with sadness.
Anju already knew how Leviathan acted when he experienced means of jealousy, though she already guessed that Leviathan would ask a question along the lines of him self deprecating himself, it still caught her off guard.
Leviathan was about to speak up again, misunderstanding Anju's silence for her actually considering the possibility, but Anju was able to beat him to it.
"If you weren't around, maybe, but that isn't the timeline I wanna live in." Anju confessed, as she leaned back in the beanbag chair. "I don't want to live in some place where I don't get to hang out with the one and only Leviathan. The only Levi-chan who can relate to my love of anime and manga. The only Levi that is so cute and so passionate. There's only one Leviathan that I love, and that happens to be you. Whether you're an angel, a demon, a human or even a ghost, I will love you, Levi." Anju looked over at Leviathan's flushed expression. "Is that assurance enough to show that there's a reason why I'm dating you?" She teased.
"You stupid normie!" Leviathan exclaimed as hide his face behind his hands.
Smirking at his childish behaviour, Anju grasped onto Leviathan's wrists and lead his body down towards her lap. Feeling extremely flustered, Leviathan rolled so he was able to look up at Anju's face. The pout that Leviathan wore made Anju giggle.
"Don't give me that look, I just declared my love for you. I should be the one who's mad. You told Hailey that she's your favourite human, you replaced me." Anju playfully teased.
"Youknowit'snottrue." Leviathan murmured, averting eye contact.
"What was that?" Anju inquired.
"I said that 'you know it's not true'." Leviathan reiterated, turned back to Anju. "You've always been my favourite normie, even in the heat of the moment when I'm mad...because YOU actually know how to deal with me. I'm used to being ridiculed for being an otaku, for being anti-social and a shut in. You don't make fun of me like my brothers do, you actually care about me and my interests...so I guess I..love you too." He professed lovingly to his girlfriend.
With fondness swelling in her chest, Anju leaned down and pecked a few kisses on Leviathan's lips and cheeks, before caressing his lilac bangs to the side.
"I'm glad we're on the same page." She smiled.
Leviathan returned the look of affection, before wrapping his arms around Anju's waist and snuggling up closer to her.
"And I'm glad you're my human."
