This is my favorite ship. Unfortunately, it's also the smallest ship.

I love shipping these two because of their history. Artoria and Lancelot were considered best friends. When Lancelot was caught with Guenevere, his guilt overwhelmed him and he awaited his punishment. No punishment came. Drenched in grief, Lancelot went mad when Saber died at Camlann.

In universe, if the player ever talks to Berserker about saber, it's worth noting that Berserker mentions that he thinks Artoria is cute. This to me implies that if Saber didn't need to pull off the "I'm a manly king" act, Lancelot may have tried to start a relationship with her. It becomes even more adorable when Saber Alter, the Dark (and laid back) version of Saber, very openly hints that she has a crush on Lancelot. So this may very well mean Artoria had a huge crush on Lancelot as well.

Though barely anyone even recognizes this ship, I have seen some growth in the fandom. Move aside Lancer, Berserker is coming.
