I honestly don't have an opinion on this ship. Just like Nalu, I assume it's canon. Aw well. Let's begin shall we?

Like all Fairy Tail ships, there are simply too many moments to note. Most examples are stretched into multiple episodes or spread arcs apart. To add to that complication, Jellal has a guilty sinner complex and therefore rarely ever makes contact with Erza. Contradictory? Very.

They started off as slaves to a cult. Following a series of events that I'm too lazy to remember/write, Jellal was possessed by what's basically Satan and Erza was thrown out to die. Evidently, this somehow implies a closeness bordering on sexual tension. I don't know, something about Erza getting her last name from him.

I can't seem to find evidence for it. The show tells you it's canon and yet gives the audience no notable examples (or at least I can't remember them).

Of course, after consulting with a friend on the matter, I figure that the reason I don't care for this ship is because it's unopposed. It is a sin all Fairy Tail shipping is guilty of. The show clearly favors Jellal x Erza over Gray x Erza. So when the cards are down on the table, are any of us really surprised? I know it's good when your ship is canon, but when everyone saw it a mile away it isn't quite as satisfying.

Any who, I don't fancy this ship, nor can I oppose it. Jerza, all it needed was two reunions and a dead Simon. Heh heh heh.
