I'm okay with this ship!

As stated in the previous chapter, I feel bad for Hitomi. She's a caring friend and if she knew the extent Sayaka went through to get Kyousuke's attention and gratitude while knowing the things she went through as a magical girl, I severely doubt Hitomi would've went after Kyousuke. 

Sayaka and Hitomi have a good relationship, they talk a lot and Hitomi's soft intellectual personality can bounce healthily off of Sayaka's aggressive and air-headed one.

After Sayaka died, we never heard from Hitomi again, so it can only be assumed Hitomi felt awful for what she did. It's assumed by most humans that she commit suicide after losing the one she loved, so of course Hitomi thinks that Sayaka killed her self because she liked a Kyousuke.

Sayaka was upset with Hitomi, but she got over it in Rebellion. Sayaka cares for Hitomi, they're close friends clearly. Sayaka was the one to comfort Hitomi's disembodied squid head after she became a nightmare, and respected her relationship with Kyousuke.

It's sweet.

I like the ship, it could work nicely.
