Nah. Don't see it.

Madoka and Hitomi have a pretty static relationship. They're clearly friends, but not close friends. They don't have any social connections, Hitomi and Sayaka are directly related, but Madoka and Hitomi barely talk to each other.

Any one else have a friend preference? Like- you like all your friends, but you have one that you like to hang out with more than the others? That's Madoka with Sayaka.

I'm sure Madoka is almost as close to Hitomi as Sayaka, but we don't see any of that. For all we know, Sayaka's the one keeping them all together.

Its not a bad ship, but it's just Hitomi and Madoka don't have any on screen chemistry other than the scene before Madoka enters Elly's labyrinth. Even then, Madoka was just trying to save people out of the kindness of her heart because that's the kind of person she is.

If I were to give a rating (flashbacks to the first ship opinions huh?) id be a 5/10
