"Lixie... Baby, wake up..."

"Mmm... don't wanna..."

A soft chuckle followed, and then warm lips were pressing down on his own. Felix's scrunched up expression instantly slackened into one of purr bliss as his own lips mellowed against his boyfriend's. After a minute or so of sharing gentle, lazy kisses, Felix finally opened his eyes.

He found Jisung already staring at him as if he hung the stars in the sky – it had embarrassed him at first but now, he loved nothing more than to bask in the attention.

Jisung and him had been dating for a while, now. They had hit it off the moment they met as trainees, and being "birthday twins" definitely helped them grow closer. However, it took Felix to get eliminated for Jisung to realize just how much he actually cared about the freckled boy and, when he was miraculously brought back, he had sworn to himself to be honest with Felix and his feelings for him.

A few months after they debuted, he finally gathered the necessary courage to confess, and he really went all out with it – flowers, dinner, candles, the whole shebang. However, it's only once he played the song he specifically composed for Felix that the boy understood this wasn't just a friendly hang-out, but very much a confession.

Needless to say, Jisung had been overjoyed when Felix had admitted he liked him too and, of a common accord, they started secretly dating.

The two boys had always been quite close and touchy, so no one batted an eye whenever Felix cuddled up to Jisung, or when Jisung called Felix "baby" and any other pet name he could think of – their bandmates simply marked it off as the pair being close friends, and not actually boyfriends.

Of course, hiding their relationship wasn't exactly easy, either. There were many instances when they were almost caught kissing, and the close-calls always made them panic. After all, the last thing they wanted was for their relationship to be outed – who knew how it'd affect the group?

They knew dating was prohibited. They knew two men dating wouldn't be seen kindly in Korea. Most of all, they knew that if word of their relationship got out, the scandal that would follow could most definitely drag their group to the bottom – and considering they had just debuted, they really couldn't afford the bad publicity.

But they couldn't just not do it, either. They loved each other, and they couldn't imagine going on with their lives without being able to be with each other – and, if they shared their secret with their bandmates, then they would undoubtedly pressure them into breaking up, or at least staying away from each other, and they didn't want that.

So, they hid. They toed the line between overly friendly and outright enamored in public, snuck into an abandoned studio or pretended to stay at the company for extra dance practices whenever they wanted more privacy, and they went on dates disguised as friendly outings whenever they could afford to.

It wasn't easy, keeping such a big secret from the people they cared about – and even less from their fans. Watching fanmade videos or edits of "JiLix" as the fans called it was a guilty pleasure for the pair and, when they felt particularly daring, they would even dive into a few fanfictions, if only to amuse themselves (though there had been a few instances when they'd severely regretted that decision).

All in all, things were good. By a surprising struck of luck, they even ended up sharing the two-people bedroom when they switched rooms a month back so, really, things were actually pretty great – Felix couldn't even remember how he survived without waking up in his boyfriend's arms every morning.

"I love you," he mumbled, nuzzling Jisung's neck a bit.

Jisung chuckled, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Love you more."

"Nu-huh. Not possible."

"Ooh? I'm pretty sure it is."

"Nope, you can't love me more than I love you, 'cause I love you too much."

It was terribly cheesy, absolutely cringe-worthy. After a few seconds of silently staring at each other, a small giggle escaped Felix, and Jisung barked out a laugh, hugging him tightly. They liked to use all sorts of cliché lines on each other, it deeply amused them – and, deep down, they knew the other meant it anyway, so it was just an extra layer of love that made them feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Eventually, though, Felix pulled away and straightened up, stifling a yawn. Jisung laid on his side and watched as his beautiful boyfriend stretched like a cat, refraining the urge to pull him into his arms and keep him there for the entire day.

"Why are you staring at me?" chuckled Felix, running a hand through his hair.

"Just wondering how you can be so pretty even when you're just waking up." Felix instantly flushed a deep red, and Jisung pouted. "How is that fair? How can you expect me not to hug you when you're so cute?"

Felix's blush deepened, but he grinned. "Who said I don't want you to hug me?"

"Our alarm clock. And today's merciless schedule."

The freckled boy scrunched up his nose a bit at the reminder, and Jisung outright cooed, poking his cheek. When Felix's blush deepened even more – even after all this time together, he was still a shy little thing, and Jisung adored how flustered he could still make him – his boyfriend couldn't hold himself back anymore.

With one smooth move, he pushed himself up while pining Felix down, now hovering over his boyfriend. Felix stared up at him with wide, startled eyes, and Jisung instantly leaned down to capture his lips with another kiss – deeper than the ones they shared a few minutes earlier, and much more demanding.

By the time he pulled away, Felix was panting, his cheeks flushed and his lips subtly bruised up, with a bead of sweat running down his neck. Jisung was terribly tempted to lick it – so he did. Leaning down, he started gently lapping and kissing the silk-like, exposed skin of the boy's neck, and he was rewarded by soft, breathless moans.

"Sungie..."

Jisung wanted nothing more than to bite down and cover him up in hickeys – but, obviously, they couldn't do that. Instead, he settled for kissing harder, as if the pressure would imprint his lips into the flesh and mark Felix as his own.

"My baby," he murmured, eventually coming back up to kiss Felix one last time. "My precious, lovely baby..."

"Mmm, only yours," mumbled Felix, pressing their foreheads together with a soft smile gracing his lips. "And you're my Sungie."

"Always."

They stayed like that for just a little longer, silently enjoying the presence and warmth and love of the other. But, unfortunately, all good things had to come to an end, and they really needed to start getting ready if they didn't one of their noisy bandmates to drop by uninvited to make sure they were awake.

Of course, that didn't mean they had to keep their hands to themselves. Many more brief kisses, fleeting touches, and love-filled looks were exchanged as the pair got dressed and ready for the long day ahead of them, and it's only after on last hug that they finally left their room.

.

Jisung was tired. Jisung was annoyed. And, most importantly, Jisung was Felix-deprived.

Today had been a long day, busy with practice, producing, two interviews, and finally a special Mnet stage for their comeback. Unfortunately, a busy schedule meant very little down time, and very little down time meant very little occasions to get his fill of Felix's smiles and affection.

They sat next to each other in the car, and during the interview too. They cuddled together during the few ten-minutes water breaks they got during dance practice. But, even then, that wasn't enough and, after such a long day, Jisung wanted nothing more than to go home and hug his precious sunshine 'til next morning came.

But what really, really ticked him off, was how touchy one of the staff members was being with the freckled boy.

It wasn't anything new, per se. Felix was beautiful, and sweet, and funny, and pretty much amazing and wonderful and Jisung loved him so much oh my god

Right. So Felix was a really attractive person, both in appearance and in personality. As such, it really wasn't much of a surprise that many people, both men and women, would be attracted to him. If anything, it only made Jisung feel ridiculously smug, because Felix was his boyfriend.

Unfortunately, since they were hiding their relationship, no one knew that.

So, all he could do was sulk in a corner of the room and watch from afar as that random staff member practically hit on his boyfriend, unable to outright interfere because it would otherwise attract too much attention, and make people ask questions they definitely couldn't answer to.

"Hyung, are you okay...?"

"Fine," bit out Jisung, unable to tear his eyes away from the pair.

He knew Felix was a friendly person by nature, but why was this random guy chatting him up so much? Couldn't he tell Felix wasn't interested?

"Are you sure? 'Cause you look like you're about to kill the guy."

That made Jisung look away, and he glanced at Jeongin, surprised. He hadn't expected their maknae, of all people, to notice – but then again, he probably wasn't very subtle with the whole glaring act.

He flushed a bit, embarrassed. "I- I don't know what you're talking about."

Jeongin quirked a brow, unconvinced. "Really? So you're not bothered that Lix-hyung and that staff member are getting so friendly with each other?"

Jisung's eyes twitched. "No. Why would I be?"

So he sees it too? It's not just me, right? That guy is definitely hitting on Lixie!

Jeongin shrugged. "Ah, no reason. I was just—"

"Okay, everyone!" All eyes turned to their main manager, who had just entered the room and clasped his hands loudly. "You're up in ten, so let's get moving!"

They didn't need to be told twice. Last touches of makeup were applied, shoelaces were double-knotted, and the entire group soon fell in line behind their manager like a bunch of little ducklings. The tension in Jisung's shoulders vanished ever so slightly when a small hand slipped into his own.

"You good, Sungie?" asked quietly Felix.

"Hmm. Just a bit tired, is all. Long day."

The freckled boy smiled slightly at that, squeezing his hand. "It's okay. After the stage, we're going back home – and our schedule tomorrow doesn't start until one in the afternoon, so we even get to sleep in. Sounds good?"

Jisung couldn't help but smile back at that. "Sounds perfect, baby."

.

Their stage went great but, as fun as it was, Jisung was most definitely ready and eager to head back home. However, as they all returned to the backroom to get changed out of their stage outfits, Jisung quickly realized that they were missing one member.

"Hey, where's Felix?" he asked, frowning just a bit.

"Bathroom," answered Hyunjin, groaning as he flopped on one of the couches.

Jisung nodded, relaxing a bit, and got started on removing his makeup. It took a few minutes but, once he was done, his gaze swept over the room and he realized that he still couldn't see Felix anywhere.

His frown returned, and he made quick work of changing back into regular clothes – but Felix still wasn't there by the time he was done. Now growing a bit worried, he decided to just go and look for him. The bathroom wasn't that far, anyway, so it's not like Felix could have gotten lost on his way back – meaning he was still there, for some reason.

Did he get sick? Was he feeling unwell earlier and I didn't notice?

It wouldn't be the first time one of them got sick after a stage. The intensity of the performance, along with the usual stress, could sometimes make one's stomach quite upset, and every single boy had gone through that awful ordeal at least once.

When he finally reached the bathroom, however, what he found wasn't a sickly Felix – not, it was a Felix otherwise... preoccupied.

"I told you, I'm not interested—"

"Come on, sweetheart, it's not like anyone will know~."

"I told you no!"

"Hey!!!"

Anger and protectiveness was quick to take over and, without thinking, Jisung roughly shoved the staff member away from Felix. It was the same guy as earlier and, needless to say, seeing him corner his sweet boyfriend against the counter like some sleazy jock made Jisung's skin crawl and his blood boil.

"Jisung," breathed out Felix, visibly relieved.

"Are you okay?" he asked worriedly, gently cradling his cheek.

Felix instantly leaned into his touch. "Y- yes, I'm fine."

"Tche. Is that it? You're already your bandmates' whore?"

Both boys tensed up, eyes turning back to the staff member. He looked pretty pissed, probably upset Jisung had interrupted before he could get what he wanted. The mere thought of him still harassing Felix even though the sweet boy refused him multiple times made Jisung want to punch him.

But he couldn't, for the same reason Felix hadn't outright forced his way out of this uncomfortable situation – they couldn't afford to beat up someone and then have pictures and rumors spread all over the internet.

"Don't you talk to him like that," hissed Jisung, protectively wrapping his arms around Felix's waist. "In fact, don't fucking talk to him again at all."

But the man merely scoffed and, without warning, he pulled out his phone and took a picture. It took the pair a second to process the action, and dread settled in their guts when he showed them the picture he just took – the two of them holding each other, much too close for it to be friendly, and definitely open to interpretation.

Hell, with some very light modifications, their position could almost look suggestive, or provocative – in other words, definitely not a picture they wanted to share.

"Here's the deal," then said the man, grinning smugly. "I won't share this picture so long as your pretty boy works for it. Sounds fair, doesn't it?"

Jisung's mind was running a mile a minute, his hold tightening around Felix. The asshole was now threatening them, trying to blackmail Felix into giving him what he wants, and it angered Jisung to no end.

"You fucking bastard—"

"Sungie," whispered Felix, visibly frightened. "We- we can't—"

He didn't need to say it. They couldn't let that picture get out. If they did, then it'd become too obvious, it'd create a scandal, they'd be forced to announced their relationship to the world, they would have to—

Wait.

"Lix," he called out, his heart hammering in his chest as the stupidest, riskiest idea popped in his head. "You trust me, right?"

Felix shot him a confused look. "Of- of course."

"And you love me, right?"

"More- more than anything, but why—whoa!"

He didn't get to say anything, it was all the confirmation Jisung needed. He grabbed Felix's wrist and instantly dragged him out of the bathroom, ignoring the startled shouts and angry threats echoing behind them.

He dragged Felix right back to the backroom where the rest of their group, their managers, and a lot of staff members were still gathered. He practically slammed the door open, effectively drawing everyone's attention.

"Jisung, what—!"

Chan's yelp was cut off as, without warning, Jisung grabbed Felix's collar and pulled the other boy closer, instantly pressing their lips together. At first too surprised to react, Felix then quickly melted into his embrace, and promptly kissed back.

After a few seconds, Jisung finally pulled away and looked at everyone else. "I love Felix. We've been dating for a while, and I love him more than anything in the world. I don't care what you think, I don't care if you're opposed to it – Felix means the world to me, and I won't let anyone else's opinions get in the way of that."

He outright glared, daring anyone to say something, but they were all too shocked to formulate a coherent thought. Satisfied, Jisung then reported his attention to his boyfriend. Felix was gawking at him, flushing a deep red, but he didn't look displeased or upset – just surprised, and even a little tearful.

"Sungie..."

"I'm sorry," he sighed, leaning in to press their foreheads together. "I know- I know I should have asked you beforehand, but I can't... I can't bear the thought of us hiding anymore. I love you so much, Lixie... I want the world to know that you're mine, even if- even if other people might not accept it—"

Felix cut off his nervous rambling with a short, but sweet kiss. Jisung almost instantly relaxed upon realizing his boyfriend wasn't mad at him. When their eyes met again, Felix offered him a bright smile.

"I love you too, Jisung – more than anything. Who cares if other people accept it or not? As long as we have each other, we'll be fine."

Jisung could only smile back, relieved he hadn't messed up too badly. But then, a slow, slightly sarcastic clapping echoed in the background, making them remember that they weren't alone in the room. They both instantly flushed a deep red, glancing over at Minho, who was staring at them with palpable amusement.

"Well, that was unnecessarily dramatic," he stated plainly, though he was smirking a bit.

Seungmin snorted. "Tell me about it."

"You owe me meat for a full month, hyungs!" cheered Jeongin, throwing his fist in the air.

"Oh, God..." groaned Changbin, horrified.

"Nooooo!" cried out Hyunjin, as dramatic as always.

"W- wait, wait, wait, you guys knew!?" screeched Jisung, mortified.

It was Minho's turn to snort. "You two weren't exactly subtle, Sung. And did you really think you just got lucky with the two-people bedroom?"

"You... you planned for us to have it...?" asked Felix, disbelief written all over his face.

At that, Chan walked up to them. He smiled, showing off his dimples as he gently grasped their shoulders and squeezed in a comforting manner.

"We figured you'd tell us eventually. I don't really know why it happened tonight or why it happened this way, but know that we're all very happy you two found each other, and that we'll definitely support you if you decide to be open about your relationship with the rest of the world."

"Hyung..."

Getting a little emotional, Felix promptly hugged their leader and, feeling a little choked up himself, Jisung was quick to do the same. It didn't take long for the rest of their bandmates to join in the hug, too, glad the pair finally trusted them enough to be honest with them.

When they all finally pulled away, one of their managers approached.

"What did you guys want to do, exactly?" he asked. He didn't look oppose to their announcement, just curious. "Did you want to keep your relationship a secret from your fans, or would you prefer being open about it?"

"Ah, we didn't... we didn't exactly think about that," admitted Jisung, carefully lacing his fingers with Felix's. "A- actually, telling everyone right now was a bit of an unplanned gamble, really..."

Hyunjin frowned a bit at that. "Unplanned?"

"W- well..."

It didn't take too long for the pair to explain the incident that occurred with the staff member, and what ultimately led to Jisung making the decisive move. Needless to say, their bandmates were pissed, and one of their managers instantly took matters in his own hands, promising the man wouldn't get away with harassing and attempting to blackmail Felix.

In the end, though, the couple genuinely had no clue as to what they wanted to do, now. Everyone in the room appeared supportive of their relationship and, while relieved, there was no denying that outright announcing it to their fans would set off a bunch of very problematic situations and scandals, and they didn't know if they were ready to deal with that kind of backlash.

"It's okay," eventually said Chan with a reassuring smile. "Today was a long day. Why don't you take a few days to think it over, hm? There's no rush."

Everyone could only nod in agreement at that – today had definitely been a long day.

.

"Aww, they're so cute..."

"I'm so glad no one's sharing a room with them..."

"Shh, you're gonna wake them up!"

With a tired groan, Jisung grabbed the nearest plushie he could get his hand on and threw it at the three obnoxious boys currently giggling in the doorway. It hit Hyunjin smack in the face, and the dramatic dancer instantly stumbled back as if he had been shot in the chest.

"Ugh, you guys are so annoying... Get lost before you wake Lix up," he grunted.

Jeongin and Changbin merely exchanged knowing smiles, before taking out their phones and taking matching pictures of the pair currently cuddled up in bed. Jisung groaned again, but didn't try to tell them off again, not wanting to disturb the cute boy currently sleeping in his arms.

The three of them eventually left, and Jisung let out a soft sigh. As glad as he was that everyone supported their relationship, he only now realized that revealing their secret had opened the door wide open for endless teasing from their bandmates.

A soft, breathless giggle echoed, making him look down.

"You were awake...?"

"Hmm. They're funny."

"Annoying, more like," he huffed. "They better not act like this every morning."

Felix hummed under his breath, readjusting his hold around Jisung's waist so he could rub his head against his chest, taking in his familiar and relaxing scent.

"I'm just glad they took it well," he admitted. "I think a lifetime of teasing is definitely worth a lifetime with you."

Jisung's heart fluttered at Felix's soft-spoken admission and, unable to help himself, he leaned down to share their first kiss of the day. Felix was more than happy to answer in kind, and the two of them eventually settled back down. Now that they were both fully awake, yesterday's events replayed in their mind, and they realized that they needed to come to a decision quickly.

"... I don't want to hide it anymore," eventually admitted Felix, mindlessly playing with Jisung's fingers as he laid on his chest. "I get that some people might make it difficult for us, but... I want to be able to love you openly."

"I want that too, baby," sighed Jisung, kissing the top of his head. "And if you think you're ready for us to take that step, then we'll take it together."

"Are you sure? I don't want you to feel pressured..."

"I'm sure. I love you, Lix, and I want everyone to know that I have the most amazing, most wonderful, kindest, funniest, absolutely breathtaking, bestest boyfriend in the entire world~."

"Good." Albeit flushing at the praise tumbling out of Jisung's mouth, Felix returned his grin tenfold. "Then I want everyone to know I have the most talented, most extraordinary, handsomest, loveliest, absolutely stunning, greatest boyfriend in the entire world."

There was a moment of silence as they stared at each other, before the two of them broke down in giggles. Jisung didn't hesitate in leaning down to claim another kiss, and Felix let out a happy sigh as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's neck.

Their lives were about to get a little crazy, and most definitely more difficult, but they'd be fine as long as they had each other.
