I got this done faster than I expected to, because I've been working on it on and off for a bit. But I've finally finished it!

Here is a reference for my sona, or representative, in the Kingdom of Emeralds - Vinca of the Willow Village! It's like how Dusk represents me in the Sapphire and Amephyst Guilds, and Xerecole in the Amburns.

The talon and leg anatomy is really bad, I'm sorry. Surprisingly enough, I haven't drawn my species of dragons all too much. And I'm rubbish at talons anyway. ^^"

Vinca is the head field biologist of the Kingdom of Emeralds. Within the first book of TES, she is 54 years old (which is the dragon equivalent of being 27 - she's not that old, heh). Her name stems from a synonym of creeping myrtle, or periwinkle, after the colour of her eyes.

Donning simple rose gold earrings in each ear, the only other form of jewellery she has, is a thin-rope necklace. On it hang two emerald-coloured beads and a barn owl feather that she kept from when she was two.

She is rather long-legged and gangly, with an unusually short body, lacking the well-built frames of most Emeraldos. What she lacks in muscle, she makes up with her astounding memory and agility. Vinca has a very strong interest in flowering plants and lizards, specialising in those subjects in particular.

A while into her becoming a biologist, she found a copperhead nest while out in the field, along with the skeleton of a half-eaten snake. She took care of the remaining egg, and dubbed the adopted viper Mara when she hatched. 'Mara' is a name that represents mourning and acceptance of death, feelings of sorrow and bitterness. It symbolised how little Mara's mother was killed and her siblings eaten or crushed within their eggs.

Mara is a incredibly shy, female copperhead snake. She prefers to stay nestled around Vinca's neck for most of the day, leaving for short bursts of time to hunt for herself or to bring her 'mother' gifts of dead birds. But she is a sweet little thing, bashful, until a stranger invades her personal space - that's when she starts to bite.
