Yup, sorry, I don't have the motivation to start on the commissions and such. You'll have to wait :')

Anyways, I got some new art stuff for Christmas and I was trying them out. So I decided to draw Tsunsmi from Wings of Fire!

Yes, I know I messed it up, don't remind me. Bleh. Oh welp, hope you like it.

I used Faber-Castell colouring pencils and DécoTime twinmarkers.

For the pencil colours, number 343 for the main scale colours, so the head, spines and the little patch under the gills. The crest, horns and spine scales were #344. The belly scales were #361, and the webs, bioluminescent markings, inside ears and side scales (next to the belly scales) were #345. The gills were #351. Oh, and the spots on the belly scales were number 360. I also used a white pencil (#301) to blend the colours together.

For the pens, I use the thin side. Phthalo Blue (#183) was used to outline the singular scales. Jade Green (#171) was used as the 'pale emerald green' flecks underneath Tsunami's scales and Brilliant Blue (#74) was used as the 'cobalt glass' look. Royal Blue (#70) was used as the darker lines on the horns and crests. I also put some Jade Green (#172) and Lime Green (#175) highlights in the eyes.

The outline was first done with a normal, black, ballpoint pen, but I went over it at the end with a Faber-Castell PITT black artist pen fineliner. At the end, I cleaned up any rogue pencil scribbles with a Derwent art eraser (yay! the bsst eraser that I've found so far in erasing colours!).

Sounds confusing. Yup. I know.
