The second character in this mini-series, Alsike the patriarch!

Yes, he is quite large and barrel-shaped, because he is a feral draught horse.
His father was an escaped working stallion who managed to find the herd's old valley and settle into life with them.

There is a scar of sorts across his left foreleg (actually inspired by Blackberry's roleplaying), but it's very hard to see, especially in darker lighting or in shade. It's almost entirely healed over and covered in scraggly fur. But it sometimes sparks pain from the joints and muscles in that area, causing him harsh aches.

If you have any advice or constructive criticism to give on how I drew him, please feel free to go ahead and comment it down! I know the head shape is a bit off, that's due to the fact I was experimenting with drawing horses, in different ways and at different angles.

Personality Description: Alsike used to be a really open and active stallion, full of adventure and chatter. With age, he has become more formal and sensible, but some of his old spunk remains. Even as a patriarch, he is friendly and talkative, enjoying spending time with foals and younglings, whether it be telling them stories from his younger days, or pretending to chase them around. Sometimes, especially when he was younger, he came off as too ambitious, with a little too much of an audacious character.
