Dino WIP's (+ Aderist Hunting Note)

Here are two dinosaur art WIP's that I've been doing.

(And, at the end, a note on the question I asked a while back, with a prize at stake!)

This one, recent viewers should recognise: Wallace! He is also now known as Ginkgo in situations that a more natural name is appropriate (yes, I know 'Ginkgo' is misspelled there, don't point it out).

Blackberry and I agreed to make some proper designs/references for Wallace and Jessie, because we were both so tempted to do some ship art! ^^'
So here's the sketch that I made of Wallace—it's a WIP for his reference picture.

I hope you guys are excited for that!

And secondly, here's a really sketchy WIP snippet for a piece of charcoal art:

It shows a Struthiomimus, and, very faintly, a fallen hadrosaur in the background.
You're not going to see this piece for a while, because it is going to take me ages to stop procrastinating. I'm only doing charcoal art because my dad asked me to draw him something with charcoal, so this is practice.

Anyone, I hope you enjoyed that as a half-filled update!
Keep sharing your opinions and theories!
Thank you and goodbye all! <3

So, a few chapters back, I asked you viewers a question:
How do Aderists obtain food or 'hunt'?
And I said that the person who gets the closest answer would get a small prize!

Unfortunately, nobody got anything all to close to the actual answer, so it would be unfair to choose a winner—sorry! :]

The actual answer is that a wake of Aderists will send scouts out to search for a corpse or some carrion left by other predators in the woods. When they find something, they will drag it into a clearing and wait for a scavenger or another carnivore to come up and get some meat. The wake, previously perching silently and invisibly in the dark branches, will ascend upon the victim.
Overall, they lure other predators to corpses, so that they can bag their new victim, and all the previous carrion.
I would have accepted anything like "they lure prey to them" or "they set traps for prey" for a valid answer.

Better luck next time everyone! :]
