(A/N: Allow me. The goddamned irony of the title and the timing this chapter is released. They did it again. They let her go because why not? I am slowly losing my faith in the goddamned product.

Why these fanfics exist. This is all just story-telling with fantasy booking intertwined with a tinge of hope  and taking shots at the current regime.

As P.A.3.K. tends to the dogs before they are done eating their dinner, he sits in front of the TV since he was not called to take part in tonight's edition of NXT. 

He sits in front of the TV as he was watching NXT. 

Timeskip to middle of NXT

P.A.3.K. was going about his business until he dropped the remote control in shock due to the match he saw....

Tegan has her return match against Taynara Conti. Both women with a lot to prove begin to lock up. Taynara was able to put up some offense until Tegan hits a chokeslam on the Brazilian superstar, living up to her Lady Kane moniker. 

Taynara is then in range before Tegan hits Taynara with the Shiniest Wizard for the pin and the win. 

Back at Tegan's House
P.A.3.K., still with mouth agape due to shock, lets the segment finish before calling Tegan. Tegan answers the video call with a smirk.

Tegan: I see my bubba is surprised?

P.A.3.K.: I thought you'd be back...by the end of the month....I haven't gone house hunting yet for a place I'd be moving...

Tegan: Oh tosh, don't worry luv. I won't be headed back. In fact, I will be staying with the Garganos since I still got luggage that is comin'.

P.A.3.K.: Ah yes, those are a pain when they get it mixed up or delayed.

Tegan: Aww, I'll see you soon to thank you for house sitting and pupper sitting too. Luv ya! 

Tegan blows a kiss at the screen for her lover as P.A.3.K. reciprocates as well.

Little did he know, he was in for a surprise.

After NXT
Tegan was unable to hold her chuckling as she laughs after her boyfriend dropped the call.

Dakota: That's so mean, dude!

Johnny: Yeah, but it can't hurt to prank him.

Candice: Awww it will be quite the surprise!

Tegan: Yeah, now let's get going while he assumes I'm staying over at your place!

Tegan's Home
10:00PM
P.A.3.K. was able to clean up and turn off the TV as he heard knocking on the door.

P.A.3.K.: Who could that be at this late at night?

He opens the door to see none other than an adorable Tegan Nox, who brings her luggage in and wraps her in an adorable hug.

Tegan: *happily grunts* mmmhh miss me in the flesh, bubba?

P.A.3.K.: *grunts back* yeah...

Tegan: Aww, all you can muster after me not being around?

P.A.3.K. can only muster a nod as Tegan was being all adorable. 

Tegan: Mind bringing me down?

P.A.3.K. obliges and sets down Tegan on her feet.

Tegan: Aww and it seems Marvel and Blue enjoyed having you around. But thanks for doing this big favor for me.

Tegan hugs P.A.3.K. again but this time, she slightly rubs her body against his. P.A.3.K. is taken aback but unable to stop her as he melted from all this.

Tegan: I uhh...I wanna reward you...and it seems *smirks* part of the reward is ready

P.A.3.K. did not take long to register to realize what she meant as he was feeling hot.

Tegan: Come with me. Bring my luggage up after locking up the doors.

P.A.3.K. locked up the doors after locking up the gate before following Tegan up her room with the luggage.
