(A/N: It sucks when I have to do things like this but again another integral figure in this book is part of an, at this time, growing list of releases from NXT. Yes, it's Dakota but man the releases have got to stop. 

If anything, I hope the Next In Line can fill the shoes left by those they released, especially in the passion department. Otherwise, good fucking luck pissing away what's left of the faithful.

Morning

P.A.3.K. woke up early but felt an odd feeling as he did. This is the first time he does not need to report to the Performance Center today.

As he finished doing his morning stretches and warm ups, he saw that Tegan was calling him on his cellphone. He answers, despite being drenched in sweat, and turns on the video on his side.

Tegan: *sees P.A.3.K.'s sweaty face* Oh! I see you had a busy morning over there? *giggles*

P.A.3.K.: Yeah...

Tegan: Answer properly now, not like me! *smiles*

P.A.3.K.: Well, I just got done with my morning stretches and exercise

Tegan: *gasps and surprised* You should have told me!! I would have joined you. I needed that!!!

P.A.3.K.: Uhh Steff, you're 5 hours ahead of me, remember?

Tegan: *giggles and facepalms herself* Oh yeah, always forgot the time difference. So you about to make yourself breakfast?

P.A.3.K.: Well, I'm about to feed the dogs first.

Tegan: You can feed yourself first too *smiles*

P.A.3.K.: Oh, well... *blushes*

Tegan notices P.A.3.K. blush and she giggles at her house watcher friend.

Tegan: Alright, you go feed Blue and Marvel first, but I wanna see my doggos.

P.A.3.K. brings the phone with him as he shows Tegan her dogs as her reliable house and dog sitter tends to the dogs. Tegan greets her dogs as they just ate away but stared up for a bit to see their smiling owner through the video screen. As Marvel and Blue barked happily, Tegan couldn't help but smile.

What she was unaware of was P.A.3.K. hustling and bustling to prepare his breakfast, some sausage, eggs and a half-cup of rice. Tegan was sweet talking with Marvel and Blue as P.A.3.K. returned on frame, huffing and puffing. Tegan giggled seeing her house sitter like this.

Tegan: Someone seems to be needing some cardio?

P.A.3.K.: Hey....

Tegan: Just kidding you plonker *smirks* but you ready for your day?

P.A.3.K.: I...guess? If you can call sitting at home waiting for NXT to go live as my day then sure.

Tegan: Awww, someone's not used to sitting out?

P.A.3.K.: Hoping it all pays off in the end. Trust me you'll love it

Tegan: Then do I have news for you.

P.A.3.K.: You're debuting?

Tegan: *giggles* I wish but my bad knee still has me behind in my rehab.

P.A.3.K.: Oh yeah...

Tegan: Boo knee! *pouts*

P.A.3.K.: Well you did say you're making progress that one time, right?

Tegan: Oh yeah! *smiles* You, Cheree (Dakota), Candice and the rest have been keeping me afloat emotionally despite the distance. But enough about that, I'm now able to do in-facility workouts and rehabs with the NXT UK medical staff.

P.A.3.K.'s face beamed in happiness for his friend's progress.

P.A.3.K.: That's great! Just hope that means you'll be seeing some in-ring time

Tegan: Well, I hope so. 

P.A.3.K.: *smiles* you will

Tegan: Aww.... But I think you may want to check on the rice cooker.

P.A.3.K. was confused until he sees the smoke from the cooking rice as he saw that it was done. Tegan laughed innocently watching P.A.3.K. finish his meal prep before she joined him as she watches him eat with a side of small talk.

Timeskip to nighttime
P.A.3.K. and Tegan were once again in a videochat after Tegan tended to her nephews for a while as P.A.3.K. cleaned the house and the doggs. After their chores were done and dinner was eaten, he was seated by the couch as Tegan watched through her television in her room as they both were tuning in to NXT.

Tegan notices P.A.3.K.'s jitters through the screen as she calms her friend down.

Tegan: First time to be from this side of the telly?

P.A.3.K.: Well, I've seen some of my old matches in the MMA Circuit. This is quite different honestly not being on.

Tegan: Tosh, you'll be surprised how some of us cringe at our on screen work at times or even be like, *impersonates someone else* was that Steff or Tegan?

P.A.3.K.: Could mean something else entirely.

Tegan: Well, you do know we portray characters that sometimes are not ourselves *giggles*

P.A.3.K.: *curious* well... I wouldn't say that exactly. I still am myself. 

Tegan: *shocked* Really?

P.A.3.K.: Well, not the smarmy trashtalker but the fighter is all me

Tegan: Then you're doing well *giggles*

P.A.3.K. was about to say a word but NXT had just started broadcasting as the two were doing their little watch-along hangout with a side comment here and there.

Timeskip to later in NXT; end of Kassius Ohno v. Shane Thorne
Kassius was able to hit a Modified Neckbreaker on Shane Thorne

As Shane bounces back from the ropes, he runs to the other side of the ropes to hit a High Tension Elbow

Shane falls flat on his face as Kassius was going to pin him. However, Kassius had another idea. He hits the back of Shane's head again with an elbow strike before he locks Shane in a Rear Naked Choke, reminiscent of P.A.3.K.'s 3K Box submission. The crowd boos as Shane's lights go out and the referee raises Shane's limp arm for it to collapse without any form of resistance or sign of life. 

Wade: This is quite a new way to win for Kassius Ohno!

Vic: Oh come on Wade. He is just using P.A.3.K.'s moves!

Wade: He did them better.

Vic: Nonesense!

Kassius then puts his foot on Shane's chest as he raised his arm in victory facing the camera and mouths 

Kassius: Knocked...Out! Like you!

With P.A.3.K. and Tegan (videochat)
Tegan and P.A.3.K. were in shock and awe at what they just saw.

Tegan: Poor Shane!

P.A.3.K.: Damn Chris! (Kassius) He did quite the number on Shane Thorne.

Tegan: Makes me fear for you, but you weren't even in the show!

P.A.3.K.: Just means it's working *smirks*

Tegan: *catches on* ohhh your feud!

P.A.3.K.: Yup.

Tegan: When will you be like..called back?

P.A.3.K.: Mr. Regal has that covered. For now, I'm doing what I can to improve and for Kassius to regain some ground in NXT. Again it's win-win...but *sighs*

Tegan: *sees the sigh* what is it, Pat?

P.A.3.K.: Just feels odd even when I agreed to the sit out even if it's for story line. 

Tegan: Hey, you said it yourself you big bubba. You wanted to improve so you can do well with your training and help out Kassius. But I cannot wait for you to return to the ring better than ever with more resilience.

P.A.3.K.: Same can and should be said of you, Ms. Return Stronger, Faster, Shinier!

Tegan: *giggles* Yeah. *yawns* Oh, i didn't notice the time *blushes* 

P.A.3.K.: What the time difference does. It's close to midnight in 2 hours...

Tegan: While it's 3AM over here, alright. I gotta turn in because it will be the first session of rehab with the guidance of the NXT UK staff

P.A.3.K.: Then you'd better get going. Just inform me when you're there and done

Tegan: Alright dad... just kidding *giggles* but thanks for the concern, Pat *smiles*

P.A.3.K.: Anything for a friend...good night Steff!

Tegan: *yawns* Good night Pat! *smiles*

The video chat hang out ended as Tegan began to sleep for her on-site rehab session as P.A.3.K. turned in for his next session of training with Kassius.
