Backstage

P.A.3.K. was doing his usual pre-match preparations. While it may appear weird to some, this was for him the best means of mental preparation before a fight or a match. He delivered a series of shadow box punches until he felt a tap on his shoulder. 

He stopped to see the giggling captain of Team Kick, Dakota Kai. P.A.3.K. stopped but Dakota was waving her hands at him to continue.

Dakota: Bro, just continue. It's interesting to see you so fired up like this. Are you like this even back in the MMA circuit?

P.A.3.K.: *chuckles* Well..yeah...

Dakota giggled some more and teased P.A.3.K.

Dakota: Hey! Am I talking to Pat because that sounded like a Steffanie answer!

P.A.3.K.: I just hear her say that that it became something I took in

Dakota: Awww big boy is taking from his girlfriend *smirks*

P.A.3.K.: *blushes* Now hey! Wait just a minute!

Johnny: We're now teasing Pat? Man, I can help spice up those video chats.

P.A.3.K.'s blushing did not stop when Johnny walked in and joined Dakota.

Dakota: Bro, don't gotta do him dirty like that! *to Johnny*

Johnny: Can't I help for once?

Candice: *holding her phone on a video chat* Oh, hey let me get you to them. *to Johnny* There you are! *sees P.A.3.K. and Dakota* you two teasing Pat here? *giggles*

???: Don't do that to him!!!

P.A.3.K. knew the voice and when Candice showed who was on the other end of the video call, it was none other than Tegan. P.A.3.K. blushed to hear Tegan defend him as Dakota backed off playfully.

Dakota: Sorry Steff, you just have a friend who is as fun to tease as you. So he takes the brunt for you not being here.

Johnny: Hey, I'm not into teasing myself but I can't help but join in an adorable teasing and stay out of it.

Candice: Be nice you two! 

Tegan sees P.A.3.K. and wants to wish him luck for tonight.

Tegan: Candice, put P.A.3.K. into the frame will ya?

Candice: Alright Shiny one *giggles* Here we are

Tegan: *seeing P.A.3.K.* Hey, good luck out there with Kassius.

P.A.3.K.: Thanks and ..wait will this mean you won't be calling later?

Tegan: Well, it depends but I'm on nana duty so as soon as these bubbas fall asleep, I can watch NXT *smiles*

P.A.3.K.: Alright, I know you got the magic touch Aunty Steff

Tegan: *blushes* Oh tosh ya ninny! Now go be a big boy and prepare for your little match! Bye you all!

Tegan ended the video call as Candice giggled and melted.

Candice: Aww your little back and forth means progress.

Dakota: Good showing bro! Now ...

Johnny: No wait, let me get into this. Regal's waiting for you in his office.

P.A.3.K.: I know, for the match.

Timeskip to NXT 
Kassius Ohno v. P.A.3.K.

Alicia Taylor: The following contest is scheduled for one fall...

Alicia Taylor: First, from Dayton, Ohio, weighing in at 270 pounds, Kassius Ohno!

Vic: Here comes the Knockout Artist

Wade: And also one who will knock this upstart professional carpet bagger down nothces until he is down the last rung of the ladder!

Mauro: Oh let's not count out the Titan of Tondo just yet

Alicia Taylor: And his opponent, from Tondo, Manila, Philippines weighing in at 275 pounds, P.A.3.K.!

Wade: He can walk with pride now but I am sure EMTs will be ready to cart his inexperienced carcass out of here to the nearest medical facility to give him the sad truth that his career ends here.

Vic: Oh come on Wade, not like that now.

Mauro: This time, we may see a more definite result after Ohno dispatched Grimes last week.

Wade: And inadvertedly hit P.A.3.K., which brings us to this massacre for P.A.3.K. that he willingly signed up for!

Beth: Are you that blind Barrett? That was not an inadverted strike, it was fully intentional.

Mauro: Regardless, we will see a classic between these two!

Start of the match
Kassius begins the match with a Cyclone Kick attempt, but P.A.3.K. side steps to do a leg sweep, while holding onto the right leg. Kassius uses his body weight and legs to push away P.A.3.K. to give some space. 

The Knockout Artist then goes to the other side as he goes for a High Tension Elbow Strike, but P.A.3.K. runs to the other side as Ohno hangs onto the ropes. P.A.3.K. then runs into Ohno for a Spear as P.A.3.K. begins a ground and pound assault until the referee begins a 5 count before disqualifying P.A.3.K. Ohno rolls out of the ring as P.A.3.K. was being held back by the referee.

Highlights of the match
- Kassius hits the Hammerlock Suplex on P.A.3.K.
- Kassius attempts for a Hammerlock DDT, but is countered by P.A.3.K. into a Northern Lights Suplex
- P.A.3.K. hits series of hip throws, then hits a Spinebuster
- P.A.3.K. surprisingly hits a powerslam on Kassius, reversing a near Discus KO Elbow
- Kassius hits a Corner Running Elbow Smash on P.A.3.K.

Timskip to End of the Match
Both men had taken each other to the limit but this time, P.A.3.K. was able to mount some more offense than the first time the two met in a match. P.A.3.K. got back on his feet after a series of Rolling Back Suplexes followed by a Cravate Suplex, that took out a lot from the Knockout Artist. Kassius was still reeling after taking a series of takedowns and spears that got his core bruised and in pain.

As both men began to prepare for the end, P.A.3.K. began to run towards Kassius for another Spear-like takedown, but he sidestepped but got the referee into the range of the Spear as P.A.3.K. slowed down to ensure he did not knock down the referee. This gave Kassius enough time to run as the referee stepped away to the side as P.A.3.K. receives a High Tension Elbow Strike to the back of his head. P.A.3.K. bounced back from the ropes as Kassius then hits P.A.3.K. with a Ripcord Knockout Elbow, which has yet to down the bigger man. 

Kassius knew he had one more shot to end the showdown. As he sees P.A.3.K. is reeling from the earlier Elbow Strikes to the head, Kassius begins to spin for the Discus Knockout Elbow. P.A.3.K. sees it and ducks to attempt a 3K Bomb as he got Kassius in the Chokeslam hold. Kassius as he was lifted hits a hard Elbow Smash to stop the lift as he lands on both feet to get P.A.3.K. into a Hangman's Elbow Smash and gets a direct hit, before hitting a Discus Knockout Elbow, finally downing the Resilient Warrior. Ohno pins P.A.3.K.

ONE...TWO...THREE!

Alicia Taylor: The winner of this match, Kassius Ohno!

Wade: I told you, the Resilient Warrior falls to the Knockout Artist all on his own!

Vic: I wouldn't say all on his own, he used the referee to get an edge over P.A.3.....

Wade: Doesn't matter, he used and had the better ring psychology!

Ohno got his arm raised but it wasn't enough as he saw P.A.3.K. being helped up by the turnbuckle as Ohno runs towards P.A.3.K. from  behind to hit another High Tension Elbow Strike. P.A.3.K.'s head landed on the turnbuckle as Ohno began to stomp away at his opponent. Referees began to enter and try to get distance between the two competitors. 

Ohno got his elbow out and the referees stepped away. Ohno rolled out of the ring to get a table from the outside as he propped it onto the side of the turnbuckle where P.A.3.K. is being tended to. He forced his way to get the referees away. As he props P.A.3.K. a bit close to the table, he runs from the other side of the corner to run and hit P.A.3.K. with the High Tension Elbow Strike for the momentum to cause P.A.3.K. to crash into the table. The timekeeper rang the bell as Ohno walked away while the referees began to signal for EMTs to come out to stretcher out the fallen P.A.3.K.

Beth: This is just too much!

Wade: Well, he got what he deserved!

Vic: He won the match, what he did right after is just excessive!

Timeskip to Trainer's office
P.A.3.K. was resting while applying an ice pack on his neck as Kassius went in there to check up on his opponent.

Kassius: You okay bud?

P.A.3.K. can only give him a thumbs up. Kassius still looked worried.

Kassius: You know, you didn't need to do that man. You might lose your spot in the card, heck in the roster!

P.A.3.K.: No, it will help both of us later on. I need time off to add to my arsenal of moves. Earlier proved that to make our future clashes better not just with you but the rest, I need to add more wrestling moves. My Mixed Martial Arts will just add burden for you to...

Kassius: Say no more, kid. I get it. But I look forward to when we will face off again soon.

Regal enters into the trainers and applauded both big men.

Regal: I see that you have yet to lose your vile and venom that flows into your veins Chris (Kassius), but it's quite odd to suggest this Pat (P.A.3.K.). You can go and have good matches....

P.A.3.K.: Mr. Regal, please do understand that I feel I'm still half-baked as a wrestler. Will it be okay if I spend some time at the PC for some re-training and additional lessons?

Regal: Hey, it takes guts to have humility but I will allow it. *smiles*

Ohno: And I want to be the one to train you, my man. I understand where you're coming from but luckily, you need not go around to get that training. I will be more than willing to assist.

P.A.3.K.: Oh thanks! 

Ohno: No problem. Our first session will be on Friday. You need to rest since you may be possibly concussed....

P.A.3.K.: Nah, doctor saw it but yes, he advised me to rest up and he will advise me tomorrow afternoon.

Ohno: Okay, then we move your training to Saturday. We will go for easy holds and moves. 

P.A.3.K.'s phone began to ring and he saw that it was a worried and upset Tegan on the other line.

Tegan: What happened to you?!?! Are you okay????

P.A.3.K.: Steff, please, the doctors will inform me tomorrow. For now we both rest....

Tegan: How can I rest after seeing how many head shots you took earlier?!?!?

P.A.3.K.: We both agreed on it, Steff...please calm down.

Tegan: Please calm down? Knee injuries are one thing, but concussions are another....please...don't throw your career away. Your career's just beginning to take off...unlike mine...

P.A.3.K. began to change the tone of his voice to reassure her.

P.A.3.K.: Hey, you're coming along nicely. But think of it this way, I'm off TV for a while...

Tegan: That's a good thing for you? Are you mocking me?

P.A.3.K.: No! Please... you got it all wrong. I asked for time off... I know... *sad voice* I'm not good enough yet to compete for long matches. I need to get the hang of delivering the simple wrestling holds and moves just so I can deliver longer matches and give out exciting feuds...also not depend on my opponent to be burdened with having to work with one with not much experience...geez why am I even reasoning with...

Tegan was clearly sleepy but she was unable to hear the rest of what P.A.3.K. said.

Tegan: Let's talk once morning hits here... night *stern*

P.A.3.K. was surprised at the call. Kassius backed away and was beginning to be apologetic but P.A.3.K. reassured him he is not the problem.

P.A.3.K.: No, this is on me. I didn't tell here our match will have a lot of shots to my head. 

Ohno: Sounds to me her worrying goes beyond the type of a friend *smirks*

P.A.3.K.: Please, not now...

Ohno: Alright, hopefully she answers your video call tomorrow. *pats P.A.3.K.'s shoulder* Your friendship with her I tell is precious but keep an open ear and heart...also a mind. 

P.A.3.K. then rested away until the doctors allowed him to be able to head back to Tegan's house to rest after his match.
