P.A.3.K.'s apartment unit

P.A.3.K. woke up with a heavy tinge in his heart. Sunday had arrived and it means one thing, change. Change wherein he will have to leave this small but convenient unit. Change wherein a good friend of his will be away for a while. Change wherein he won't hear a familiar voice or feel a familiar presence whilst said person is away.

After he had helped Tegan pack up her clothes upon finding out that the day of her flight had come, he began to have a last minute check but to break the monotony of his checking, he played a song on his phone.

P.A.3.K.: - sings along - Sunday Morning Rain is falling ~

P.A.3.K. was controlling his emotions as he checked his things to make sure he will not leave anything behind as he won't be coming back. He had already informed his landlord prior that he will terminate his lease after today. He then received a text message, which momentarily stopped his music from playing.

P.A.3.K. checked to see that it was Tegan

Tegan: Hey, Johnny will be picking you up to get your things here. Can't wait for you to join us in my send off. See ya! :)

P.A.3.K. was about to reply until his phone rang with the notification

Unknown number

P.A.3.K.: - answers - hello?

????: Oh shoot, you haven't saved my number? Sorry, Candice just passed me your number - chuckles -

P.A.3.K.: Johnny?

Johnny: Johnny Caddy himself bud! Nah, it's Johnny, Johnny Gargano!

P.A.3.K.: Oh no, are you already outside?

Johnny: Well, - sound of door closing - Candice will keep watch of the car, I will help you with the boxes and stuff.

P.A.3.K.: It's not much...

Johnny: Nah, least I can do for a friend.

P.A.3.K. began arranging his boxed belongings. He would set them close to the door so Johnny will be able to ferry less meters. He heard a knock on the door and Johnny was stretching, readying to help P.A.3.K. with his belongings.

After half an hour, all of P.A.3.K.'s belongings are now at the back compartment of the Gargano's car as P.A.3.K. handed the key of his apartment to his landlord. 

Landlord: Well, it was nice to have had an NXT superstar as a tenant. Good luck and keep safe where you're headed.

P.A.3.K.: Thank you, best of luck to whoever takes my unit.

Landlord: Nah, with you ensuring it stays tidy, I will miss not having much housekeeping done in it. 

P.A.3.K. then stepped into the car with Candice smiling at P.A.3.K.

Candice: Guess you accepted Tegan's offer?

Johnny: Oh awesome! You're gonna be dog and house sitting!

P.A.3.K.: Blue and Marvel grew on to like me so that explains that I guess

Candice: But I'm just ...I don't know...

P.A.3.K.: Sad?

Johnny: Well, I can't be sad for her since if this is what the doctor ordered, who are we to stop her?

Candice: Johnny! - giggles - The trainers didn't agree to this. But Regal and Hunter have gold hearts to allow her to go through this. It will be kinda lonely not having her around. 

P.A.3.K.: Yeah....

Candice then realized she was dampening the mood

Candice: Oh no! I'm so sorry. You must be sad too huh Pat?

P.A.3.K.: Well, I can't deny that but I did tell Tegan, and as Johnny has said, who are we to stop her if spending time with her family will help her recover and regain her bearings?

Candice: You know what? You sure are wise beyond years.

P.A.3.K.: Well, I support her decision. And as her friends, I believe we should support her the best we can.

Garganos: Right!

Tegan's house
Dakota and Tegan were waiting outside as Tegan had already placed all of Tegan's luggage in Dakota's car. They then saw the Gargano's car, with Johnny stopping the car. The Garganos with P.A.3.K. went down and they group hugged Tegan.

Tegan felt all the love and support and as the Garganos and Dakota all winked at each other, they pulled away slowly from the group hug until the only ones left in the hug were the Girl with the Shiniest Wizard and the Resilient Warrior. Both were hugging like there was no tomorrow, not knowing the rest have snuck away. They only pulled away after Dakota left the shudder sound on her camera on by mistake. Tegan pouted and hid herself.

Tegan: Kota, you can kick rocks! - pouts -

Dakota: If I kick rocks, you have no ride to the airport - smirks and grins -

Tegan: - sighs and surrenders - okay....

Dakota: I'm just kidding ya ninny!

Candice: Awww

Tegan: - looks at her phone - Oh! We've got to get going!

Dakota walks to her car as Tegan bids her fur family goodbye first with P.A.3.K.

Tegan: You bubbas take care and be nice to Pat (P.A.3.K.) now. 

Both Blue and Marvel barked and nuzzled against their owner's leg. P.A.3.K. gave them some time as Tegan pulled away and made a favor to P.A.3.K.

Tegan: Pat, mind if you ride along with me?

P.A.3.K.: Well...uh.. my things are at Johnny's car and I rode with them earlier that...

Johnny smirked and told P.A.3.K.

Johnny: Give in man! Plus, you won't be needing your long sportsbag with you as it took up the rest of the space in the back.

Dakota: - smiling - ride shotgun with me. Join Tegan and I in the car bro!

P.A.3.K. shrugged his shoulders in acceptance as they all headed to the airport.

Timeskip to the Airport
Airport
The five arrived at the airport just in time for Tegan's luggage to be checked in. 

Tegan: Guess... this is it huh?

Dakota: Well, for at least 3 months. But I will miss you crutchy...I mean Tegs. Just don't forget us - mouths - and hubby P.A.3.K. - smirks -

Tegan blushed then CAndice spoke

Candice: Awww 3 months will pass us by fast. But for sure you will be better than us upon returning - smiles - 

Johnny: Oh. Uh yeah, it won't be as bubbly back in Full Sail without you around. But go take care of yourself and come back when you're ready.

Tegan was all smiles with some slight tears but then came the turn of P.A.3.K.

P.A.3.K.: Well, guess this is ...

Tegan: No, please. It's not a goodbye but a...

P.A.3.K. and Tegan: - in unison - See you Later

Both blushed after saying this as Dakota and the Garganos were all giddy with the moment. Johnny held it together by giving P.A.3.K. a thumbs up for his troubles.

Tegan was fighting the urge to cry as she turned away to see her friends wave her and send her off as she headed into the airport for the luggage check in.

timeskip to the way back to Tegan's house
3PM
The Garganos and Dakota were driving back in a convoy for P.A.3.K. to move his things into Tegan's house as he will be the house watcher for 3 months. As they arrived, Mia, Shayna and Jessamyn were there, holding the fort watching Marvel and Blue while they were at the airport.

Shayna: - stretches her arms - well...our job is done. Romeo is here to watch over his Juliet's castle as she is away

Jesssamyn: Bigger place isn't it Pat?

P.A.3.K.: - while holding a box of his belongings - well....yes.

Mia: Awww - nudges P.A.3.K.'s shoulder - don't be going cold and awkward on us. Be honest now.

P.A.3.K.: Well it is quite a big place.

Dakota: Plus it's a good thing Marvel and Blue instantly took a liking to you dude!

P.A.3.K.: Indeed they have. - sighs -

P.A.3.K. sighed loud and it did not fall on deaf ears as the Garganos and the B.R.E. noticed it.

Dakota: Already missing her?

P.A.3.K. tried to hold it together but Johnny put a hand on his shoulder 

Johnny: Hey man, no need to soldier on like this. You're not just Tegan's friend man. You're ours now too.

Shayna: Yeah man, a dependable guy like you is a true friend to all

Jessamyn: Never see that you're alone. Plus you have more friends now than then man.

Dakota: For sure, if Steff (Tegan) sees that you're happy, she will be too.

Candice: Yeah, just call if you need anything.

P.A.3.K. smiled as he was reassured by the B.R.E. and the Garganos that he need not feel sad and lonely. They all finished packing up before calling it a day and leaving P.A.3.K. to finish fixing up his things.

Few hours after luggage check in
Airport

Tegan was waiting for her flight to be called

Intercom: Flight from Orlando to Wales will be leaving in 30 minutes. Kindly board the plane.

Tegan, with her carry-on luggage, boarded the plane.....

Same time at Tegan's House
P.A.3.K. opted to use Dakota's old guest room out of respect to Tegan and made it his temporary bedroom. After he fed Marvel and Blue, he sent a DM to Tegan......

Airport at the same time
Tegan felt her phone vibrate as she saw the text notification from P.A.3.K.

P.A.3.K.: I hope that you have a safe flight and just keep me on the know when you arrived home. Funny that Blue and Marvel adjusted immediately to me being their new housemate. But keep safe and let me know when you reach Wales. We miss you already. Keep shining and work on being Stronger, Faster and Shinier than ever when you come back.

Tegan was touched by her new friend's message and she nearly broke down but she replied with.....

P.A.3.K's room, Tegan's House, same time
P.A.3.K. was shocked that Tegan replied quickly. He saw the message and it said

Steff (Tegan): Hey, just hold down the Shiniest Wizard's castle until I return. I miss you all too but this will be for all of us. Keep strong as well my Resilient warrior friend.

P.A.3.K. felt warm inside as he began to turn in for the night and said to himself

P.A.3.K.: Keep safe, Tegan. I miss you....

Airplane
Tegan already boarded the plane as she found her seat and placed her carry on luggage on the top compartment above her seat. She brought out her phone and began listening to some music along with some pictures of her time so far in NXT along with those with Dakota and Candice. When she then saw her pictures with P.A.3.K., she felt a familiar warmth in her heart. Along with that warmth, a tinge of sadness as she will be away from her friends for a while.

The pilot made the announcement that the plane will be flying soon. Tegan then began to fall asleep for their long flight. The last picture she was looking at before drifting to sleep was her picture with P.A.3.K. at the zoo. Tegan smiled as she slept.
