SUNNY

"They're Chasing us!" 

Akala ko tapos... I thought we finished the race, Akala ko nakatapak na kami sa finish line, Little did I know that when we still live there will be an endless road, endless race, endless running. 

Running was tiring and now we are doing it again. Do we still need to kept running for the rest of our lives? If so, we have to run faster, as fast as we can to survive.   

5 hours ago. 

"Malapit na tayo?" As I remember today's just a normal day? Or sadyang nakalimutan ko? Hindi naman namin anniversary, not somebody's birthday and definitely not Christmas nor New Year. 

Yesterday was quite normal? I don't know—Gon just burned my favorite blanket and ang boyfriend ko namang mabait pranked me—I mean silang dalawa. Normal naman yun diba? 

Anong prank ang ginawa nila? Nag switch lang naman sila ng places, kagaya noon, hindi ko nga alam kung bakit nila ginawa yun. Is it due to boredom? Or there's a hidden motive? Ewan ko pero baki—

"Suprise!" I jumped a little when I came back to reality. Oh great, nakalimutan ko'ng i-susupresa niya daw ako. 

I looked at him "Ha?" He face slammed and pointed at a direction na nilingon ko naman agad, which made my jaw dropped. 

There, I saw a round gold object placed in a red pillow at parang hindi ako makapaniwal sa nakikita ko ngayon. 

It's a time machine—wait, time machine ba? Bahala na, but I know you know what's a time machine or something is! 

I've always dreamt to travel around different places, different people and different time but, sad to say, hindi kaya ng talino ko na mag-invent ng klaseng imbention kagaya ng Time machine. 

I rubbed my eyes and close it, hoping that this is just not a dream. Nung binuksan ko ang aking mga mata, I was relieved when I was still there, when it was there and when triangle was there. 

Oh may gulay! Totoo nga! 

Lumapit ako doon and touch it softly. It's so beautiful! I slightly jumped due to excitement and happiness. I pulled triangle closer and hugged him. 

"Are you curious who invented it?" He asked, hugging me back. Sino nga ba? 

"Ikaw, si gon at Trench" I smiled and answered, Tumingin siya sa akin na halatang gulat na gulat. 

"How did you know?!" He asked with his widened eyes. 

Halata naman eh, So this is the reason kung bakit nag switch sila ni Gon kahapon, eto din yung dahilan kung bakit bigla-biglang nawawala si Trench and also it explains kung bakit pag meron si tatsulok wala si gon at Trench at kung meron naman si gon wala si triangle at Trench, same goes when Trench is there. 

"Secret" I said and flooded him with sweet kisses at his cheeks. Ang sweet ko diba? Yieee 

"L-Let's Try it" triangle stuttered, aba kenekeleg bebe ko. 

Kinuha ni Tatsulok ang time ball—yes, time ball nalang tawag ko since it's a ball tapos parang siyang time machine and yeah. 

Triangle picked the golden time ball at tumingin siya sa akin. "We can only travel five times in different era and We can't choose which year, pero pwede naman tayong bumalik. " 

"Eh ganon?" ngumuso ako. Ngumisi siya at kinurot ang pisngi ko. 

"It is still not perfect, We'll make it perfect sooner" Sabi niya habang patuloy na kinikirot ang mga pisngi ko at patuloy din naman akong nag-rereklamo. 

After a few moments, tumigil na din siya sa wakas. "Don't do anything stupid, Pancake" Seryoso niyang tugon sa akin. 

"Aye Aye captain!" I replied, nodding my head. 

"Here we go"itinapon niya ang golden time ball sa sahig and a portal suddenly appeared before everything went peach black. 

I opened my eyes and found myself in an unknown place. My eyes roamed around trying to find triangle but unfortunately, he was not there. 

Kinakabahan na ako, Tumingin ulit ako sa paligid, ngayon ko lang na pansin na nasa parke ako at Marami-rami ang mga tao but, Mostly are lovers. 

So it really worked? pero asan na ba si tatsulok? Huhuhu... 

I was about to walked to someplace, hoping to find him there—when someone held my wrist " Pancake" Lumingon ako sa taong iyon and I'm glad that it was him.

Niyakap ko siya sabay sabing "I miss you" Alam ko ang Oa ko pero nung hindi ko siya mahanap kanina parang may kung anong klaseng takot ang naramdaman ko. 

"Akala ko hindi na tayo mag-kikita" sabat ko at niyakap pa siya ng mahigpit. 

"You're exaggerating Pancake, of course mahahanap natin ang isa't-isa" He said as he pat my head. 

"Let's have a walk?" tanong niya sabay lahad ng kanyang kamay na tinanggap ko naman na may ngiti sa labi. I'm so lucky to have him,really. 

Habang naglalakad kami sa parke, two people caught may eyes or should I say lovers?

May hawak na aso yung lalaki na matangkad, gwapo at parang kinakabahan?

I turned my gaze to the girl who he was talking to. yung babae naman ay may kaganda, with her long black hair, Slim body at masasabi ko di'ng Flat siya? 

Habang palapit ng palapit kami sa kanila, I could here their conversation clearly.

"Ano yun?" Tanong nung babae. 

"A-ano..."

Napakamot sa ulo ang lalaki as he kept on bitting his lips. Halata namang kinakabahan siya "Gusto k-ko sanang..." napayuko na naman siya. 

Is this a confession about his feelings towards her? Ano kaya ang magyayari? Will she reject him? Kawawa naman. 

"Gusto mo sanang?" The girl echoed, hindi ba niya nahahalat? Like, halata na masyado. 

The boy tooked a deep breath and finally Lift his head up, meeting the girl's eyes. "Gusto ko sanang sabihin na..." He continued to battle with himself and unexpectedly, ipinikit niya ang kanyang mga mata and said it out load. 

"GUSTO KO SANANG SABIHIN SA'YO NA MAG-ARAL KA NG MABUTI!" Tinakpan niya ang kanyang bibig habang nakatingin sakanya ang babae na naguguluhan but she smiled after seconds. 

"I will" 

Confirmed! Manhid ang babae, torpe ang lalaki! Nakaka-gigil. 

I found myself walking towards them, Mukhang may magagawa na naman ako. I'm use to do things without thinking first,hate me or what that's me and I want to be me. 

"Pancake..." triangle warned. Hindi ako tumigil at nag-patuloy parin. He was about to grab my hand but it is too late. 

"Gusto ka daw niya" I said it without thinking what's going to happen. Tumingin ang babae sa akin na naguguluhan and the boy looked at me, shooked. 

"What are you talking about at sino ka?"Mataray na tanong nung babae. 

Before I could make a scene Triangle grab my hand. "Let's go Pancake" Hinila ako ni tatsulok papunta sa isang liblib na lugar, kung saan walang masyadong tao. 

Itinapon na naman ni tatsulok ang golden time ball when we heard barks of a dog and was followed with familiar voices. 

"Filter!" The girl that we saw awhile ago called the her dog. 

"Amber—anong?!" sumunod na naman yung lalaking torpe kanina at tamang-tama the portal appeared and again, everything went peach black. 

Triangle, I and those two accidentally Traveled through an unknown era,

At ngayon naman we found ourselves in a mall, and the weird thing is we are witnessing a scene of another couple? 

Kasalukuyang kaming nasa baba ng mismong hagdanan ng mall kung saan may isang lalaki at isang babae na kina-kausap ang isa't-isa. 

And again, we can hear their conversation clearly since malapit-lapit kami sa kanila. 

Nakita naming itinaas nung lalaki ang kanyang Kamay na halatang may singsing "Just got married". 

"R-really?kailan pa?" The girl asked.

"Last week" He answered and smiled. 

"C-Congratulations" 

"Thanks." 

"S-Sige Florence, mauna na ako..." humakbang ang babae pero natigilan ng siya'y tawagin ng lalaki. 

"Laury?" 

"P-po? I m-mean yes?" Laury didn't looked back and I can tell that she's really not okay. 

"Can I ask you something?" 

"Sure, go ahead." 

"Are you happy?" Florence asked "yong totoo" he added. 

No one dared to speak among us, We felt it, the tension or somewhat the lonely feeling that is coming from laury. 

"yong totoo? Hindi pero keri lang" she honestly answered.

"ikaw?" after a few seconds laury asked back. 

"Masaya na ulit." Florence answered. 

Laury Froze From her spot, probably thinking somethings habang Tuluyan ng naka baba si Florence and Again an incident happen. 

The golden time machine dropped when Florence and Triangle bumped each other, causing another portal to appear. 

"Sorry" Florence apologized as we watched the portal with our widened eyes and then everything went black. 

AMBER 

"They're chasing us!" 

If I would choose one word to describe what is happening right now, I would pick unknown. 

Hindi ko alam kung maniniwala ba ako o hindi, two strangers suddenly appeared and says that may gusto daw si gray sa akin then abrakadabra! We are in another era. 

Ngayon sumasakit na ang paa ko sa kakakatakbo, I don't know why we are running, pwede naman naming kalabanin yung humahabol sa amin but there's this feeling na we shouldn't. 

Earlier, natag-puan namin ang isa't-isa na naka-upo sa gilid ng kalye but the thing that is bothering me, bakit walang katao-tao?

We walked and walked hanggang sa may nakita kaming tatlong lalaki na nakasuot ng mask, sa tingin ko nasa bandang 30+ na sila, We we're about to asked for their help nung bigla-biglang lumapit sila sa amin at kami naman ay lumayo nang badahan-dahan hanggang sa tumakbo na. 

So we ran as fast as we can, we ran like our life depends on it. 

"There!" The Boy that we saw on the mall earlier shouted as he pointed to a house. As far as I can recall his name is Florence at kagaya namin nadamay din sila ni Laury, I refer to the girl who we also saw earlier together with Florence. 

Pinasok namin yung bahay na itinuro ni Florence and we were relieved na hindi kami naabutan nung tatlong lalaki. 

"Wait kaninong bahay ito?!" Pasigaw na tanong ni Laury. Kanino nga? We are trespassing but we really need to hide here from those human. 

"We don't know" Gray silently whispered. 

I roamed my eyes on the house, it's simple yet you can feel the lovely feeling it brings. Umupo si Laury sa sahig at sumunod naman kami, except for the girl from the future na hanggang ngayon hindi pa namin alam ang pangalan. 

"KYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" nagulat kami ng may sumigaw. Tumayo at Tumakbo agad Yung lalaki na kasama nung babaeng dinamay kami, sa kusina kung saan ng galing yung sigaw.

Sumunod namin kami sa kanya and our eyes widen. There, we saw The girl from earlier and Two girls who also have shocked expression. 

A long black straight hair girl from the Two pointed her fingers to me "A-amber.." she said that made me even more shocked. 

Pano niya nalaman ang pangalan ko?! 

"Sunny, what are you doing?!" Our attention was diverted towards sunny, the girl From earlier. 

Sunny was holding a phone "wow cellphone!"she exclaimed happily and it seems like naka-live sa Facebook yung cellphone na hinahawakan niya. 

"Triangle, someone asked kung sino daw ako. " Tumingin siya sa lalaki na kasama niya kanina. 

Triangle pala ang pangal—ano?! Triangle?! Anong klaseng pangalan ba'yan? Uso ba ang mga pangalan nayan sa future? 

"hi, I'm Sonia Gallego! You can call me sunny!" pagkatapos niyang sabihin yon lumapit siya sa akin. 

"This is Amber!" She introduce me as I rolled my eye balls. 

BHEM

I can't believe it. Totoo ba'to? Or panaginip lang? 

Pina-upo muna ni tammi ang mga weird na mga tao sa sofa. I need to calm down and picked my senses. 

"Totoo ba'to?" tanong ni tammi sa kanila ng kalma. 

"Do you think we are fake?" Tanong pabalik ni real life amber. Ang taray naman po. 

"I'm sunny and this is triangle, galing kami sa future, we travelled through time and accidentally brought amber, gray, Florence and Laury here." ini- explain naman ni sunny real life.

Grabe ang English ng mga eto huhuhuhu. 

"Pero paano? Paano kayo naka-punta sa world namin?" kumunot ang noo ni tammi. Paano nga ba? 

"What do you mean your world?" Real life Triangle asked. 

Wag niyo nga akong sisihin na may "real life" hindi talaga ako makapaniwala, they were just an non-existing characters from tammi's book but now I can touch, hear and see them in person. 

"Tammi doon muna ako sa kwarto, sakit ulo ko." paalam ko sakanya. 

"wag mo akong iwan dito huhuhu" I got no choice but to stay. 

LAURY 

Sunny explained everything that happened to us, to tammi Gomez Yesterday. 

Tama nga, kahapon yun at nalaman namin na in this era a virus is spreading worldwide.

Yung mga humahabol pala sa amin kahapon ay mga baranggay tanod, nakakatawa nga, akala namin papatayin na kami. 

The world is in chaos right now. Not because of war or something but because of COVID19,A deadly virus. 

Novel Coronavirus or also known as COVID-19 came from Luhan China and now spreading worldwide, to keep the people safe, ipinatupad ang General lockdown, kung saan kailangan manatili lamang sa tahanan, kumbaga Bawal Lumabas. 

Nalaman din namin na si Tammi ang s'yang lumikha sa amin, she is our creator, our beloved author. 

Nung una hindi talaga ako naniwala, but guess what?

In this moment, weird things happened at ang magagawa ko nalang ay ang paniwalaan at tanggapin ang mga iyon. 

Why can't we go back? Why can't we time travel again? If you asked. Ang swerte namin na nasira yung golden time ball. 

Ayon kay triangle, it will be repaired for atleast one week or less, all we have to do is wait. Madali lang naman ang maghintay diba? 

"I guess we are stuck here?" Amber sighed. 

Stuck nga at ang hindi ko pa nais ay nakasama ko si Florence. May galit ata si tadhana sa akin huhuhu. 

TAMMI

Everything's a mess and unbelievable. 

Last day na nila ngayon," the golden time ball " was fixed and they can go back to their own era. 

For the past few days feeling ko talaga mga baliw kami na nag i-imagine ng mga bagay-bagay But, I have proven na nasa tamang pag-iisip kami ni mamabear at hindi kami nananaginip. 

Life is really full with unexpected twist and you have to embrace all of it with a smile even when the weather is bad. 

Being with them was fun at parang ayaw ko na silang pabalikin pa, pero hindi lahat ng gusto natin ay masusunod diba? 

Ang ingay nila grabe, lalo na si sunny na walang filter ang bibig, si amber naman ang tahimik, sa mga babae parang si laury lang ang normal—maharot nga lang? 

And then there's the boys... 

Flashback 

Gumising ako nung naka-amoy ako na parang may na sunog. Tumakbo ako papuntang kusina at nakita ko ang tatlong lalaki. Una ko'ng napansin ay ang itlog na pagod na nasa sahig, nakadapa doon si gray na parang balak atang kunin yung itlog, sa kabila naman nakahawak si triangle bermudo sa isang pagod din na kaldero at si Florence... Si Florence naman ay natabunan, halos lahat ng katawan niya ay—B-Black? Uling?! 

"Tammi!" 

Nagising ako bigla nung tinawag ako ni mamabear. 

"Nag-aaway yung mga lalaki!" sigaw niya at tumakbo naman kami palabas nang kwarto. 

And then... Nandoon nga sila, they punch, punch and punch each other. 

When we manage to calmed them down, I asked kung bakit sila nag-aaway. Napa-face slammed ako nung nalaman ko ang dahilan. They were fighting because of the burned egg kung sino daw ang kumain nun. 

Na imagine niyo kung gaano ka stress yun? Hays. 

"Until next time" they all looked at us.

Bakit parang iiyak na ako any moments from now? 

"Bayadan niyo muna yung sinunog niyo" pabiro ko'ng sabi pero ang totoo pinipigilan kong umiyak. 

Kaya mo yan tammi! 

"Sorry na kasi doon" Florence uneasyly smiled at tumawa naman ako. 

"Ingat kayo ha." Mamabear said to them. 

"Group hug!" sigaw ni sunny at sabay-sabay silang pumunta sa amin as they locked us in their arms. 

Pag kanya-kanya na silang babalik sa kanilang mga panahon , they would forget all that happen and it is really sad. 

I hope I can...I can make the time stops, I hope I can last this hug forever and I really hope I can make them remember us. 

"I guess this is goodbye then?" Amber sadly smiled at us when we broke our hugs. 

"It's nice to meet you all" sabi ni Laury bago lumayo sa amin at lumapit kinila triangle. 

Itinapon ni triangle ang golden time ball as a portal once again appeared. 

Ngumiti sila sa amin sa huling pagkakataon bago nawala na parang bula.

This chapter of my life is done, I guess?

 I didn't except to meet them in real life. Sino nga ba ang mag-iexpect na ang mga karakter mula sa isang aklat ay mabubuhay at mahahawakan mo? It's seems impossible, really impossible. 

Our life is like a book. We can't skip chapters cause that's how life works We have to read every line even if it will make you cry, meet every characters even if they won't last forever and Read moments you don't want to read, end chapters you don't want to end. 

3rd person's POV

Nagising si tammi Gomez nung nag ring ang alarm sa cellphone niya. 

"ang weird naman ng panaginip ko parang totoo" she thought. 

Tumayo siya tsaka hinanap si bhem ramos ang kanyang "Mamabear"but failed. 

"baka nasa trabaho na. "Inisip niya. 

Aalis na sana siya para kumain nung may nakita siyang papel sa mesa ng kwarto. 

"To Tammi Gomez, From your beloved characters." 

"Totoo?!" bulong ni tammi habang binubuksan ang mensahe. 

Dear, Author-nim

We want to say thank you, thank you for letting us stay, kahit sakit lang sa ulo ang dala namin. Thank you, thank you for creating us. Thank you, thank you for being wonderful and being who you are. Even though we will say billions of "thank you" it is still not enough to pay you. We love you our lovely author-nim! 

A tear escaped tammi's eyes as she laughed and smiled. 

It was indeed a battle, a battle between eras.
