1. AMBER SISON (Detective Files Series)
— I developed Amber as someone I am and someone I want to become. Her character is simple... but hard to maintain at first kasi sulat lang ako nang sulat that time so hindi ako nagno-note.

Tip: Make notes of your characters. Physical appearance, likes, dislikes, personalities etc. para hindi ninyo makalimutan

Amber is:

*book nerd
*she's kind (yes dude, she is... or she was? yes she's still. whatever no to spoilers haha)
*she loves mysteries
*(ahem, everyone will agree...) she's DENSE hahaha lutang ang lola ninyo kahit matalino Dense pagdating sa usaping lovelife
*she doesn't believe in magic
*likes classic stories

long hair
...flat? lol
pale skin

Something she's good at:
rolling eyes
archery
knows martial arts

Tip: Maintain your character's personality... unless flip sila or may personality disorder.

Or if may changes at one point, I made sure to express it in their thought/narration.

Amber changed in some point of the story but she's back to her old self after.

2. SUNNY GALLEGO (RUN DUOLOGY)
real name: Sonia Gallego

— TBH, she's my least favorite character. Nakakagigil siya, sarap patayin (mas bet ko pa si Math sa kanya eh)

But I want a new character na bago sa readers. Like dude, we're so tired of pretty, smart and kind characters so Sunny is the total opposite. Tbh, in reality we thought we are princesses but we're actually witches

a. Hindi siya kagandahan. Yas. Plain-looking.
b. Hindi matalino. Yup, sad no? hahaha like she made it on the academy... 50 ang cut-off score, naka-51 siya hahahaha bagsak pa palagi hahahaha
c. Masama ang ugali niya. Mayabang, maharot, puro salita wala namang gawa. She talks back akala mo tama ang pinaglalaban (well, sometimes) Ranter! bida-bida. Traydor— yup, Sunny did that due to desperation. toxic hahahahaha

— but she's running for everyone. c'mon kahit ang pinakamasamang tao may kabutihan din naman kahit konti.

So ayun, I think Sunny is one of the most realistic character in watty world. Swear.

*she's... she's... haha basta hindi siya panget okay? Ugali lang pangit sa kanya hahahahahahaha

3. VIOLET DIZON (AS YOU LIE AWAKE)
— 2nd least fave character.
Siya 'yong walang masyadong ganap sa buhay like normal teens.

— she's not brave haha
— no special in her

Pero bakit naging character ko siya?

Dude, she has the best male lead! An angel dude! An angel! Nothing's special in her because Semper is everything special! Hahaha you can't have all blessings right?

So ayun... She's also realistic. Like yeah, hindi lahat tayo matapang, hindi lahat tayo courageous... Makakarelate ka sa kanya kasi

1. brokenhearted siya, iniwan ng jowa at medyo hindi pa nakamove on
(yeah until there's semper)

2. she reads YA novels like Cassandra Claire's Mortal Instruments series

3. Believes in vampires, aliens etc. but hard to believe when they're in front of here

4. Basta normal lang siya, nothing's special except her affection to Semper yeeeeeh

4. VICTORIA VERA (CATCH ME IF YOU CAN)
— Strongest and smartest of all
—dude she's a thief and if not smart, malamang matagal na siyang nahuli

she knows 101 ways to become a thief haha
*very stealth,
*master of disguise
*speaks filipino (except when disguising)
*hindi kinikilig bato yata hahahaha

Reminder: Again, make notes para hindi ka lumihis sa mga characters mo

Physical appearance:
*very tall
*very sexy
*very pretty
*curly hair

— in DF where she first appeared, Victoria may seem invulnerable pero sa CMIYC, no she's actually not. Napapakita roon ang struggles niya as magnanakaw. Actually, nagkakasugat siya, nahuhuli... but because she's smart... she finds way out of her mess.

kasi realtalk? Walang taong sobrang perpekto. Like yeah, to others she did steal something and she's unscathed... pero sa POV niya, malalaman mong nahirapan pala siya, ganito, ganyan.

5. LAURY MAE ABELLA (FLORENCE AND LAURY)
— typical teen nowadays (Gen. Z)
—ranter
—palamura
—memer (huh?) meme lord? hahaha

physical appearance:
*pretty
*not so tall (Florence is just too tall)

—Laury was designed as someone like most teens nowadays. Yung may long term crush, bastos bunganga pero inosenti. Ganern.

Relatable character din siya beshy

My notes for Laury:

*walang poise magmura
*hindi english kung magmura like yeah tangena ganern

6. MARGA ROSE SANDOVAL (SCARLET MIDNIGHT)

—Business minded hahahahaha

physical appearance:
*pandak
*hindi pretty (yung sakto lang)
*kissable lips (asset nya 'to)

She described herself as:

"eyes for sole purpose of seeing, hindi pango pero hindi rin matangos, maiikli 'yong legs"

—Marga is designed as someone insecure lalo na sa legs niya

—laman ng isip niya? PERA PERA PERA PERA. bawat galaw kailangan may mapera siya

Unlike other characters na mato-torn between decision of doing bad or good... Marga choose to be happy. Like hindi climax or rising action yung part na 'yan for her.

like dude, some crazy vampire (not Ten) tried to devour her kung si Amber pa 'yin malamang nakasapak na, lalo na si Sunny malamang sapak na may halong pusangina... but Marga... Marga is a damsel so distress hehehehehe

7. CAT (HELLO MISTER WOLF)
real name: CATTALEYA (no given last name, maybe sa later part na ng story)

physical description:
*long hair (hanggang waist)
*tall (hindi nagkakalayo ang height nila ni Clan)
*pearly white skin
*fashion sense niya ayaw ni Clan lol (mahilig sa cropped top, off shoulders, ripped jeans... basta anything na showing too much skin)

What makes her different?
—may sukbit siyang malaking palakol sa likod.

Okay, Cat is the most in denial character... like dude, hindi manhid ayaw lang talagang umamin... since she feel degraded kasi nga raw "aso" ang mate niya.

Clan calls her "LIAR"
yea she lies without batting a lash grabe grabeeee

8. ZAB CRUIZ (KNOCK! KNOCK!)
real name: ELIZABETH ALEXIS CRUIZ

Physical appearance:
*pretty
*crazy
*pretty crazy
 
she's designed as someone na happy-go-lucky lang... like dude hindi ka ba nasho-shook?!

who keeps tons of bleach and a shovel under her bed?????— yah, Zab.

hindi naman siya nympho (lol) pero ano siya.... hahahahaha

sings Alphabet song in the bath
nag-s-striptease pang extra money lol
nagbibihis kahit may tao
nambabato ng kahuhubad na bra lol
pumapatol sa blindate

basta I have so much more in store for knock! knock! hehehehe

9. CLARA (APPLES)
real name: Clara Bea Colance

I made her as someone full of revenge and anger

yup, slutty attitude.

Apples is a detective fiction... but Clara is not interested in Detective stuff okeh?

Gusto lang niyang sumikat (at magpasikat) for a reason (A/N: tengene mo Clara ba't di nagpuntang Showtime? hahahaha)

Tip:

Make sure your characters are different from each other... or may something sa kanila na wala sa iba. Kumbaga okay na may kaugali sila... but what makes them special? What makes them unique? Make sure to point that out.

Tammii Tip:

Aside from being a writer... reader din ako at factor sa akin ang names ng bida.

Don't make cringey names (utang na loob) Kaya yung mga lead ko, kung hindi isa lang name, common names pa minsan.
