Mikasa's Point of View

I felt a gentle nudge on my shoulder. I groaned while turing my head the other way, not wanting to wake up.

"Hey brat, wake up unless you want to get locked in school for the night," a familiar voice uttered.

I stood up rubbing my eyes and looked up at the not-so-tall student. Ah class representative Levi. We walked together in silence to the exit of the building. Before we arrived at the school doors, he stopped.

"I saw you and Eren holding hands today," he muttered without making eye contact.

"Uh yeah, we're dating now."

His jaw began to tighten, "Are you in love with him?"

"W-what? Why would you ask something like that?" A blush aroused from my cheeks.

"So you don't." I saw something change in him, "So I still have a chance." What is he talking about? Is he in love with Eren? For a second his dark eyes were directly on mine, and he stood quiet. He gently touched my face and leaned in close, I felt his warm breathe touch my lips, sending a chill through my body, yet I thought it was pleasing.

I heard Eren's voice suddenly, "Mikasa! Where are youuu?"

I stumbled away from Levi and pushed my way out through the door to greet Eren. I felt guilt and excitement in my stomach.. I'm a terrible person. Levi was probably just messing with me, none of that was real.

Eren took my face in his hands, his fingers traced gently against my skin as he kissed me. But there was something off in our kiss, it felt as if he could sense something was wrong. He looked at me with his kind, loving eyes. I love Eren, nobody else. I kissed him again, firmer this time, more certain. I wrap an arm around him, sliding my hand up his neck and into his short hair.

After our kiss I looked back and saw Levi standing out by the doors. His expression sent chills through me. Is he.... jealous?
