A/N: Okay guys this is short. But please bear with me. This is just a filler chapter. And,its kinda...crappy. Okay its worse than crappy. But read. November.

The rest of October went by and then came November. I spent the first week insanely happy. I kept saying 'Yeah its November! 8th is my birthday.'

By the end of third november I had said it enough times that the moment I started with 'Yeah...' Tony or Vlad or Lix or Adrian would complete my statement imitating my voice for a good effect. And we would all end up laughing.

Soon it was the day. I woke up early. It was a Sunday this year. I had lots of gifts under my bed. Ninja star was at the window with my other gifts too. Mrs. Weasley got me some homemade fudge. Dad got me a tee and a box of chocolate frogs. Fred and George had got me a box of pepper imps. Sera got me a set of hair clips to train my wild hair. Tony got me a book on advance combat magic. Vlad and Adrian got me a long recurve bow of oakwood. Nats gifted me a book on inner animal spirits. Felix got me a box of ice mints. Ed got me a box of flavour choosing rolls. These changed their flavour based on what you want it to be. Dear old Dumbledore gifted me a book on advance magic combinations.

Inshort I was impressed by the amount of gifts I got. So I wrote down thank you letters and sent them off with Felix. And I thanked everyone at Durmstrang for the wonderful gifts. We all then went for a walk in the garden castles. It was cold and it had just drizzled. So we put on warm clothes. I wore a crisp white new shirt and my lemon yellow v-neck jumper along with the fur cloak. I pulled on mid calf boots and tucked in my jeans in them.

Everyone was dressed and we walked to the gardens. I dont know what got into us but we started having mud fight. Nats and Sera ran off for cover from us crazy people.

We were sorry for the house elves who would later wash our clothes. But we had fun. Later in the evening we held a small party in the common room of Artemis. With cake and fried chicken, chocolate icecream that we snuck from the kitchens requesting the house elves. It was a memorable day.

The rest of November was uneventful except for a few detentions. And to be frank it got quite boring.

December.

December was very cold. The castle did not light fires for anything but magical purposes. So heating charms were used. The school was covered in a thick sheet of snow and grounds became inaccesible. Quidditch practices stopped. The sea had ice floating in it. We could see our own breath in front of us.

Sera refused to come out the bath saying the water was nice and warm so I had to threaten to break the bathroom door and pull her out of the bath. As we reached mid December the temperatures plummeted down further. This was going to be my coldest Christmas. I was not going home. I did not want to escape one school setting and,enter another. Mrs. Weasley and Mrs. Romanov had invited me for a stay. But I had other plans.

From twenty we started holidays. Everyone who was going home left and I was almost left alone at the school.

Everyone but Nats had left. Nats was in her last year and she wished to study for the exams. Felix had gone home so had Adrian.

I used my time to study for the mocks in February. I also read the gifts I got for birthday. I realised my animal spirit was a grizzly bear. The book at the end had instructions on how to unleash it and transform into it. But not in detail. I searched the books in the library for further information. I found information needed in some books and I decided to give it a try in the summers.

I helped Nats practice combat magic as she tried to get a hit at me. It trained me for endurance and agility.

The saddest part of December however was that Cummins had put me on a stamina improvement diet. So I couldnt eat my fried chicken and christmas cake.

Christmas day I recieved all kinds of sweets as gifts. For Dad I got a silk monochrome teal tie.

The decorations had been put up by teachers, house elves and older students together. The school was decorated in green and red. In the assembly hall a huge christmas tree was placed decorated in all house colours. Millions of small fairies adorned the tree looking like lights. We had the special christmas feast but I could just watch. So Cummins laughed and took pity on my puppy dog eyes. He allowed me to gorge and I swear my grin split my face in two.

Later that week Sera and the others arrived. The classes started after the weekend so we played a snow fight. It was fun. But it earned us detentions. We had to polish trophies as detention.

Tony had made a new friend on the ship, Viktor Krum. And by Merlin do I need to say it. Holy mother of hawtness he's hot. Me and Sera gave the same reaction and,the,boys rolled their eyes.

December 31 was Vlad's birthday. So was Adrian's. We wished them both a happy birthday. And we demanded a treat. And the two really do know how to get a party rocking. I gifted Adrian a broom maintainence set. And I got Adrian a muggle romantic book he had said he would like to read 'Pride and Prejudice.'
