(Shine's p.o.v.)

I knew exactly what I had to do. The memory charm. It wont hurt. But if she resisted... I would just say, Merlin save her then.

I started with,"Obli-" but my wand flew out my hand. Non verbals?

"So we know non verbals then Romanov?" I hissed angrily. "Fine then lets play the darn game."

I picked my wand while steadily removing my glove. I kept my eyes on her all the time. She had her wand trained on me but she wasnt attacking for some reason.

"What do you want?" I scowled at her, having retrieved my wand.

"We need to talk."

"Yeah sure" I muttered bitterly and again srarted with the memory charm. This time non verbal. I had flicked it halfway but she noticed the move and my wand flew out again. I looked at her completely frustrated. Fine then! Lets do a hand to hand combat Romanov. I thought.

"And I would appreciate if you put your wand down."

"Yeah right Serafina. I 'm the stupid house elf in your huge mansion. So I would follow your stupid orders. Anyways you would just flick it out my hand again. So lets do this." I growled before jumpin on her in my rage.

"Give me back my darn letter." I hissed as I tried snatching it out of her hands. But she kept dodging me.

"GIVE THAT BACK NOW!" I roared practically taking off the other glove. But the git that she is,it did not affect her.

"Calm down. Anger is not going to help y-" she started but I jumped on her. This,time I caught her wrist. I knew what I was doing. I was absorbing her strength. But something happrned. I absorbed much more than possible. The extra unexpected power surged through me like a bolt of electricity and I let go of her. My hand was hot and,i shook it to wear off the feeling. But the,darn bed of mine caught fire.

Sera gasped and pointed her wand at the fire. But I guess she was too shocked to react. I was so scared. Flames were still floating in my hand. I tried to shake them off. But the other bed just caught fire.

Merlin! What in the holy name of the dark lord is happening?

I screamed and ran into the bathroom to hold my hand,under the,water. I bolted the,door behind me. I sat on the floor my head in my hands tearing away at my hair.

I did not want to think but the thoughts just wont go away. I heard a knock on the door. "Go away." I groaned my voice so weak it surprised even me. I wanted to just break down. To cry.

"Its no big deal Shine. Get out here. I have the fire under control." she whispered in a comforting tone.

"Go away. I dont want to talk to anyone. Leave,me alone."

"Shine-"

"Please."

I heard footsteps and I realised she was gone. I curled up before I finally broke down.

I sat there alone for a long time. I got up when my stomach grumbled. I do not know what happened. I guess I lost control. But maybe not. If I am to believe what I saw in her head. Oh Merlin! I dont know what to believe anymore. Whatever! I need to apologize to Sera. And I need to get back my letter.

I opened the door after splashing my face with water. I then realized I had to get to the assembly for lunch. The letter was on my bed. I stuffed it in my pocket before I ran off to the assembly hall.

I reached and found a place next to Sera.

"Hey! I 'm so sorry. I just lost control. I will tell Prof. Cummins to get the bed replaced." I whispered quietly into her ear so only she could hear.

She looked at me with a confused expression then she,found her tongue. "Oh! Yeah sure. Its okay."

"Please dont tell anyone." I whispered.

"Not a word. I swear."

"Thank you. By the way. I know yours." I said and she stiffened.

"Dont worry. Its safe with me as long as mine is,safe with you." I grinned.

After that I finished the lunch to meet Lix. We were gonna make a mess of the door of the B.L.'s office. So we walked till the office and waited for any signs that she was inside. After we confirmed that she was inside and well settled enough that she wont get up we began with the prank. We had been saving chewing gum debris we ate.

We stuck it carefully on the door handle covering every inch of it and left immediately after dropping a shriek bomb. The bomb as its name suggests only shrieked when dropped.

We watched from a floor above. She came out scowling. And then as expected she searched left and right for the person who dropped the bomb. And then she touched the handle to open the door to get back in.

"IDIOTS" she screamed and we held in our laughter with difficulty. I bit my fist. "I FIND THE PERSON WHO DID THIS AND HE FACES SIX MONTHS OF DETENTIONS. I SWEAR." she threatened before going in.

I high-fived Lix and skipped off after ensuring she was safely inside her office.

I was walking to the Artemis tower. I needed to put down my prank bag. Dont want to be found with it.

"Oi Shine!" someone shouted. I heard them stopped and,turned to see Adrian.

"Oh! Hey Adrian." I said cheerfully as he still ran to reach me.

"You know what you must be deaf. I called you ten times. I was beginning to think you were ignoring me deliberately. You know." he said all in one breath reffering to his furry little problem. I guess.

"I know?" I asked.

"My furry problem."

"Oh that! I clarified it yesterday. Didnt I?"

"Well. You did I guess. But you never said what your secret was."

"Ah! That is for me to know and you to find out."

"Oh ho ho! Dont you even dare to try to pull that one on me, babe." he growled playfully.

"Oh yeah! What will you do?" I mused.

"I will tickle you till I find out."

"Okay. Enough of threats I guess." I said as I started running."Catch me if you can Volkov."

"You cant outrun the best Vulcan chaser Snape." he growled as he followed me. We ran all around the school. He did catch up with me. Darn my stamina.

"So. Tell me now." he said but I shook my head no. I was too out of breath to utter a word.

But the idiot he started tickling me. "Oh...no...wait...I...I...will tell...you..just give me..some ....breathing...time." I managed between my laughs and breath intakes.

"Okay. So my secret is that. Is that... I.... well...you know..I have a crush on Vlad?" I said lying smoothly but even I wasnt convinced. That was totally random. And I dont even know Vlad that well. No offence. He is good looking. But Adrian is the better looking twin. Okay. Maybe not that smooth a lie. But I think hesitation makes it look more authentic.

Anyways. Dear old Adrian gaped at me in shock. So maybe he does believe me. Well done. He looked very bewildered.

"Tell me that's a lie."

"If it makes you feel better. Its a lie."

"No. Really? Vlad? I mean I thought you were smart. Vlad? Really?" he said stumbling for words. Okay that was totally out of the blue. I agree. But I cant think of any other thing that I can use as an excuse.

"Okay. Adrian. It is a lie."

"Yeah! I knew it. So what is the real thing?"

"I am a vampire?" Again the same mistake. Too random Shine I thought scolding myself mentally.

"I would know if that was the truth, you know?" he said indicating to his nose. Oh yeah! I forgot. Oh what has gotten into me! I cant think straight.

"Look Adrian. I will tell you. But later. Okay?" I said giving him an apologetic smile."Or you could always do the good old guesswork like Sera or read my personal letters." I muttered under my breath. But he chuckled so I am guessing that he heard.

"Sera knows?" he asked softly.

"Kinda. Yeah. Rather the whole thing."

"And Romanov's keeping it quiet?" he asked.

"She has to. I know something. I figured it out today. So she will keep her mouth shut as long as I shut mine." I sighed.

"True Artemisian." he muttered under his breath.

"I heard that." I punched him playfully.

"I meant you to hear that."
